Great plastic surgeon

Great plastic surgeon. 13 days after an Abdominoplasty by Dr. Haddock, I feel great, minimal pain. He is a great doctor. The only thing I would suggest is a follow up phone call by the nursing staff a couple days after the surgery when patient goes home. That would make the experience exceptional.

Fantastic result with Dr. Haddock for Botox and Fillers

Last month I went to see Dr. Haddock for a consultation on botox and fillers. I honestly had no idea what I needed but just wanted to look refreshed and youthful. I am approaching 40 years old and just want to look my best. Needless to say, Dr. Haddock made the visit informative and completely relaxing. He and his staff are approachable, knowledgeable and gentle in terms of recommendations for cosmetic procedures. He never jumped to a surgical plan as I informed him of my hesitation for surgery and anesthesia. Dr. Haddock was concise of the treatment plan for crows feet and lines around my mouth. He was thorough and excellent with his administration of the botox and filler. I loved the cold roller his nurse used on my face to distract me. All in all, I love my look as I feel like a better version of me. And I love not looking like the over injected women walking around Dallas. Thank you, Dr. Haddock for a fantastic result and I plan to see him as needed.

Capable, Compassionate, Caring

Dr. Haddock was always professional and caring and his staff was above reproach. He is a perfectionist, and it shows in my results. He and/or his nurse were always responsive to my MYCHART questions (and I had a lot). It gave me peace of mind and I always felt like I was cared for. I felt like he listened and made me part of the decisions about my surgeries. In the end, I'm very happy with the DIEP Flap reconstruction, nipples, everything. I would recommend him to anyone!

I've been reading everyone's reviews. I had my surgery the 3rd of February. The healing was bad. Very bad. I'm now going to see Wound Care Clinic. Unfortunately, Dr. Nicholas Haddock diminished my concern. Seven weeks later? I need someone to take me seriously. I have now been referred to Wound Care from another doctor. I got fat necrosis of my right breast. I had a career in the Navy and have a law degree. If this man thinks he may continue to diminish my dead breast, sorry!! Updated on 29 Mar 2017: I went back to UTSW on Monday, March 27th to see the Wound care Clinic. So glad I did. They had to do more debridement. Ugh! But they also took pictures & measurements of my wound. Also, a culture. Still can't believe my PS didn't culture it. I should get results tomorrow. I have to change the dressing 3 times a week. The nurse said the gauze wet/dry pack my PS had me doing was doing nothing. The problem is the dressings are more than I can handle myself. I did it today, but I'm gonna have to call them tomorrow about going in to have them do it for me Monday, Wednesday, Friday. It took me more than 30 minutes and a lot of the material falling on the floor. It's been almost 8 weeks since surgery. Trust me, as soon as you start to smell something bad, get a second opinion. You don't want what I'm going through. Updated on 25 Apr 2017: LOL. I didn't want him to ever touch me again. I told him I couldn't trust him after I got the E. coli he swears I gave to myself! Or anyone but him! I'm so excited to feel my right breast start to fill in. I'm still seeing a home health nurse 3 days a week thanks to this doctor. I'll take a picture soon. I'm so totally ruined after this surgery that I'm having problems dealing. Updated on 27 Apr 2017: I've had the worst experience. However, the fact that insurance paid 100% of the bill (plus my supplemental), and there is literally no more back pain? So very worth it all. My PS was an idiot, but he found another doctor who would see me. Got to give him credit for that. Updated on 8 Jun 2017: Well, this sad saga just won't stop. My plastic guy WAS Dr. Nicholas Haddock at UTSW. I have posted pictures. Thank God that my very wonderful Endocrinologist suggested he referred me to UTSW's Wound Care Clinic They did a much better debridement of the fat necrosis than my PS did. They also did a culture. Four days later I was placed on antibiotics for E. coli. Haddock also lacks a great deal in basic hygiene. I will post a pic of my breast that was taken, I think, on March 27th of 2017. This is the way a real debridement should be done. Updated on 8 Jun 2017: I first saw Wound Care Clinic in March. Also had Home Health help me out with my godawful dressings. Finally, on May 10th, my Wound Care doctor released me and no more Home Health either. My "tunnel" had close on my right breast. I saw my new plastic surgeon my old PS referred me to. Stephanie Teotia on Cedar Springs in Dallas. Now at the time all was hunky dory. But those "rocks" I felt under my left breast, an the huge amount under my right breast she explained was FAT NECROSIS. Now, she also explained the most common reason (though very rare) is that during surgery, the blood supply, hence the oxygen supply was cut off too long and killed the fat. This not only causes lots of lumpy boobs, but you can't get a decent mammogram. Also, the dead tissue can harbor bacteria that will keep tunneling through your breast(s) until cleaned out. Only good new is that a bad mammogram because of fat necrosis means insurance will pay for the 2nd surgery. Small comfort. This is picture after I thought I was all healed AFTER 2 months of Wound Care. Updated on 8 Jun 2017: I think they look a little saggy. He removed 740 from the right breast and 720 from my left. Sorry for the bandage but until I have corrective surgery, it's best I can do. Barb Updated on 20 Jul 2017: Botched reduction, fat necrosis, bacteria tunneling, almost 6 months post op. Had E. coli infection from surgery, 2 staph infections, now, yeast infection on my breast from the damp always on my bandage from discharge. Now on anti-depressant meds. He plastic surgeon who so head up the UTSW Wound Care Clinic in Dallas I taking mor wait and see. He can go in and do a surgical debridement but say that will leave me with my right side of right breast concave AND I'd probably lose that nipple. By the way, in the two pictures of the two holes, it runs all the way through. I'm having dressing changes twice a week. It's awful. No improvement.
