Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Pregnancy can cause unwanted changes to a woman’s body, including sagging, deflated breasts, stretched nipples, enlarged areolas, stretch marks, and a bulging tummy. It’s frustrating when no amount of exercise can fix these body issues. That’s where a mommy makeover comes in. At my practice in Austin, Texas, no mommy makeover is one-size-fits-all. We offer a number of cosmetic procedures, and we tailor your treatment plan to suit your individual goals. This usually involves a tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck, with or without liposuction, combined with a breast lift and/or breast augmentation with implants. Some women might consider a body lift to correct outer thigh laxity. Others opt for a Brazilian butt lift or facial rejuvenation procedure. Breast Surgery

Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping
Rhinoplasty, nose job or nose surgery is one of the most common procedures performed in plastic surgery. Dr. Trussler has specialty training in all aspects of rhinoplasty, including cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, septoplasty, as well as ancillary procedures commonly performed with rhinoplasty such as turbinate reduction, correction of traumatic deformities and chin augmentation. Rhinoplasty is performed to reshape the nose to fit the face and provide facial harmony.

Dr. Trussler graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After finishing his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, he completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Trussler furthered his specialized training with a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he served as an assistant professor in the department of plastic surgery from 2007 to 2012, as well as the director of both the cosmetic residency and fellowship programs and the co-director of the abdominal wall reconstruction program.
Outside of his private practice, Dr. Trussler remains deeply committed to research and advancing the field of cosmetic surgery. His research interests include the biomechanical properties of the face and abdomen, comparison of facelift techniques, minimally invasive lower eyelid and cheek lifting procedures, breast reconstruction flap anatomy, and clinical body contouring procedures, including the long-term outcomes of abdominoplasty.
Dr. Trussler is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Texas Medical Association.
