So I noticed that I had a little excess when I was 14, so way before this surgery probably became a and that you could even do anything about it. So needless to say I have been wanting it for a very long time. 90% of why I wanted this surgery was because sometimes it would get so irritated that I would cry. I was that miserable. And it's not like there was much to make that feeling go away. It would feel like tiny little tears sometimes. The other 10% was for cosmetic reasons. I self conscious a lot when I was with someone sexually. I've been doing research for quite some time and I knew it had to be a woman that was going to perform it. Not sure why but I just didn't think a man could do it right. That's not to say they can't, but for me there was absolutely no compromise on that. I was even looking to go to San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston just to find the perfect woman surgeon. And I think I picked well. Dr. Amy Bekanich has been in the industry for quite some time. She was awesome and professional. In addition to the labiaplasty I also have some lipo with a fat transfer. I only had local anesthesia (yikes!) which yes it definitely freaked me out. I've had lipo this way before so that wasn't a big deal, however, I have never had labiaplasty so I was more than nervous. I didn't need to worry because they ativan they give you is more that enough. It was great! I only experienced a tiny bit of pain a handful of times, so it was better than I thought it would be. They tell you not to look at it because you are very swollen and apparently it's not pretty so I'm going to wait on that. I was put into a garment after because of the lipo with an opening to go to the bathroom. Be very careful because you pretty much have to pull one or both sides apart when going to the bathroom otherwise you have a very good chance of peeing on yourself. Has this happened to me? Yes and it effing sucks because the last thing you want to have to do is try to take off your garment and do laundry. I have had to do this before and I almost fainted when I took it off. I don't know why. The pain is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The only bleeding I have I would consider to be spotting. I have a surgery pad that I keep in place with underwear. Over that I've been wearing loose pants. You can't wipe after you go to the restroom. BLOT only. I'm day 2 post op and I'm doing pretty well considering. Staying on top of your pain meds is key. You're supposed to get up and walk around every so often. I actually picked up a shift at work tonight because I feel much better than yesterday. Granted I did sleep pretty much all day after I was done until 8 am this morning. I only have pics of my incisions and what my garment looks like. Labiaplasty photos will come a little later Updated on 9 Jun 2022: so it's been 8 days since my surgery. I'm doing well considering what I had done. As you can see I still have bruising. And it's weird because I'm bloated yet I didn't have any work done on my stomach so take that into consideration Still haven't looked at the labiaplasty yet. When I get the courage and the before pics from the surgeon I'll post them It definitely still hurts sometimes. I really can't do anything except get up every so often to walk around. I can't exercise for 6 weeks which is hard for me since I work out pretty often. I can't even walk on a treadmill for 2 more weeks because you have to be careful about friction and that hinders healing. It's quite boring. I'm running out of shows to watch to pass the time.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bekanich and would definitely recommend her to anyone. Synergy is a very clean facility and everyone is friendly and helpful; from the woman who scheduled my consultation over the phone, to the ladies who welcomed me at the front desk and helped me schedule my pre-op and post-op appointments, to the nurses, Dr. Bekanich, and the anesthesiologist. Dr. Bekanich is kind, smart, a perfectionist, and very talented. She listened to me and respected my wishes on wanting to go with a smaller implant than probably most women choose, and she never tried to persuade me to go to a size I wasn't comfortable with. The surgery itself was quick and without any complications. A few hours after I got home from my procedure I realized I may need an adjustment to a medication so I called the office and I was taken care of over the phone immediately. Dr. Bekanich even called me that evening to follow-up and check on me which I greatly appreciated. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Bekanich!

I had come in the office in March and had seen Rachel for a consult. I was on the fence about a Breast augmentation or tummy tuck. After weighing my options I left with a surgery date for a tummy tuck and lipo. One week later I second guessed my decision as to I am not at my goal weight. So I called into talk with Rachel, who is by the way Phenomenal and so kind. She helped me talk through my scattered brain and by the end of the call I was scheduled for a Breast augmentation. The price for Gummy silicone under the muscle implants is great and covers all the fees and follow up visits. I went back in to talk with Dr. Amy Bekanich for a second consult about the size of implants which are 485cc and what to expect during and after surgery. She was so kind and helped me make the best choice for my body. I felt super confident with the decision I made when leaving the office. May 16th was the day, I was super nervous because I had watched to many review videos on the web. (Bad Idea) the surgery was right at an hour in a half. I woke up feeling a bit groggy but other wise great. Recovery was completely opposite of what I expected it to be, which was a blessing. Any questions or concerns I had I called the office, Alejandra had all the answers for me and assured me everything was normal. I had a one day post surgery follow up as well as one week followed by four months. Anything you need in between you can call the office. They have Dr’s on call as well so you can get someone at anytime of day or night. Synergy Plastic Surgery and staff are amazing, thank you so very much. I feel great!

Literally I’m shock at how wonderful my experience with Dr. Bekanich has gone. I’m 6 weeks post op and it’s like I’ve always had them. They fit my body perfectly and look and feel natural. The scars are flat to the touch now. I’m headed to my 6 week appt now and I cannot wait to thank her face to face. Everyone loves them. The pic is 3 weeks post op; subglandular. She is the only doctor, during the consultation; that gave me no grief about not wanting to go under the muscle.

Doctor Beckanich and the entire staff at Synergy Plastic Surgery go above and beyond for all patients! I was comforted, reassured and well informed for my breast augmentation. From the receptionist, to the coordinator Rachel, to the nurse Tiffany and anesthesiologist, Carol, everyone was absolutely amazing to me. I am 26, 2 kids, 115lbs and 5ft tall. I went with 385CC implants. I’m on day 3 and they look BEAUTIFUL. I’m very excited to see them when they settle.

Dr. Bekanich was extremely attentive and listened to everything I said I wanted. She answered every question I had. I was super nervous day of surgery and she, and her staff, put all my anxieties at bay. Overall, the results are exactly what I wanted and having a doctor who understood my wants and provide the results best fit for me and my body is awesome. I’d recommend Dr. Bekanich to ANYONE!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Amy Bekanich at Synergy Plastic Surgery! There are three board certified plastic surgeons at Synergy, and all are awesome! I came to Amy after seeing my breasts deflate due to breastfeeding my daughter for five full months. I was a full C before breastfeeding, and about an A after. I felt embarrassed, and didn't like how I looked. I read the reviews online for Synergy, and decided to set up a consultation with Dr. Bekanich. She was so thoughtful and kind. She's also a mom, which helped make me feel like she understood my concerns even more! It was kind of funny because we both had the same idea for size for me. We went with 520cc implants, and now I'm a DDD (which I am so, so happy with). Make sure to follow all directions before surgery and also shower with antibacterial soap as suggested in the days leading up to your surgery! My surgery went well, and when I took my steri strips off too soon (due to my bad listening) ... she was right there to pick up my call (on a weekend evening at that) to tell me what I should do. The follow up appointments were all great, and she's also done my Botox! I would recommend Amy to any and all women considering a procedure to help make them feel great again!

Dr. Bekanich was wonderful. Always available for questions and helped me find the right size breast implant that would look right on my body when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Pre and post opp care was easy to follow and everyone in the office was always so lovely and polite when I came in. I love my new look!

I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Bekanich and she did a fantastic job. It’s been 3 months since my surgery and I feel and look great. I love my results. Dr. Bekanich is amazing! I was very fortunate to find Dr. Bekanich and Synergy Plastic Surgery when I decided to seek out a plastic surgeon. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tips for future patients: Listen to your doctor's recommendations to achieve the best outcome. Follow all instructions before and after the surgery. They have 2 office locations which makes follow-up appointments easy.
