I have never had an obvious crease and getting older my upper eyelids would sit on top of my eyelashes. I scheduled an appt with TOC in Austin with Dr. Vikram Durairaj. He removed skin from my upper eyelid and removed fat from the lower eyelid. 5 Stars for Dr. Durairaj and his team because they were great! No complaints about them. After surgery I could see a difference, but after a few months I couldn't tell. Dr. V even took out more skin from my upper eyelids at no additional cost. He did an excellent job and I hardly bruised at all. If I could go back in time I would not have done my lower eyelids because I don't see a noticeable difference. I don't understand what is going on with my eyes, but most days they are swollen and look like I have not slept for days. I'm sure this has nothing to do with my eye surgery but what could it be? I've been to my family Doctor and everything is fine. I've gotten filler and botox...you will see on my next post. Updated on 8 May 2017:

I cannot say enough excellent things about Dr. Durairaj and the TOC team. Dr. Durairaj repaired a ptosis (droop) of my left eyelid that has caused me pain for years. My eyelid looks so amazing now and I am free from migraines, so I feel the need to share my very positive experience. First, I am so grateful that the team travels to Bryan, TX for appointments. It is wonderful to have access to such great care in my community. Once I agreed that I wanted the surgery the TOC team took care of all the rest, it was so easy! The main facility in Austin, including the surgical center, was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. I was extremely nervous to have this surgery done, but Dr. Durairaj made me feel at ease with is warm and professional manner. He answered all my questions; I felt well cared for. His surgical skills are also quite impressive. As a Registered Nurse myself it was important to me to research the best surgeon for this procedure. He took such delicate care during the surgery I had almost no bruising – only two weeks out from surgery and I am almost completely healed. Although with any procedure, every patient will have a different results and recovery time, my speedy recovery does speak to his skill level. The nurses at the surgical center were caring and supportive. I appreciated the lengths they went to ensure my comfort before, during, and after the surgery. I received a call the day after my surgery to check on my progress and had access to assistance, even after hours and on weekends. I highly recommend Dr. Durairaj and the TOC team, I am forever grateful for the success of this life changing surgery! Thank you!

Dr. Durairaj was my surgeon of choice for tear duct surgery last year, and for blepharoplasty in Jan. 2017. He provides outstanding patient care and treats his patients like family. His professionalism is of the highest caliber. I very highly recommend Dr. Durairaj and his staff!

A very positive experience with Dr. Durairaj and his staff. When brought into the clinic for surgery the nurses could not have been any nicer and answered all my questions. Everyone was very relaxed during the surgery which helped me do the same. Dr. Durairaj was very professional, yet very personable and answered all my questions.

For years I hated looking at myself in the mirror because of my droopy eyelid. It was worse when I was tired and I didn't feel pretty. After my surgery I could instantly see the change and now I love how my eyelids are symmetrical. There was hardly any pain and I was back to my normal routine within a few days.
