I didn't find any reviews for my doctor or my city, so I've decided to write my own as I go through with this procedure. My doctor is James Schlotter in San Marcos, Tx which is in the Austin area. I'm have my upper and lower abs, along with my love handles done.
The reason I decided to get this procedure done is because I have always had a problem with my tummy. Even when I was a semi-professional athlete. Today, I don't have the body I want at all. After hitting puberty in life, I became an apple. I carry all if my weight in my top half of my body. I hate having the apple body type. I carry in my boobs and my stomach. I hope doing this will help change my body type some. If it was simply about losing weight, I would just train, but for me, this is about changing my body type.
I'm 5'4 1/2 and weigh 150. 25 yrs old. My expectations are that I will be in some pain after, but not brutal, and that I will not see any fabulous results right away. I'm hoping within a month I'll look decent.
My fears are saggy skin, disproportionate bumps after, permanent scars. Lets hope none of that happens.
I will update this and let you all know what I'm going through. I'm a writer, so you will have someone updating who likes to actually give a very detailed review.

Day 1: I'm home from surgery. My doctor does not use anesthesia. He uses some kind of numbing shots and numbing cannula. The shots were very painful for me. They didn't tell me, but there were about 50 in total. He started out with small shots and then moved to bigger and bigger, then to a cannula with numbing stuff. It took a long time and I cried from the pain. He said I was sensitive compared to other pacients. I was also on Xanax and a bit more emotional than normal. The shots were the worst part. I also looked 6 months pregnant after the shots. Super swollen.
After the shots I took a break ate a little food and then went into the actual liposuction. I did laugh at times, only at the very end was I started to feel some pain, bareable though. It felt like a jet from a hot tub on really high pressure. He made 8 inserts. I'm home now with my garments on. I have a lot of leakage. I feel just a tad bit of pain and am only on 800 mg of ibuprofen. I'm able to get up and walk around. Getting up isn't that bad. Just feels like I'm sore. I feel better than I thought I would. The leakage is a lot. They gave me depends to wear and I've changed them a few times. The garments are soaked and I've soaked threw a towl too. I'm not sure how I will look because of the swelling. I weighed myself and I'm 3 pounds heavier. I'm assuming from the swelling. I will update y'all later. I'd say so far I'm doing alright. The shots was the worst, but I'm feeling pretty good now that I'm home.
Oh, also my doctor is pretty nice. I wouldn't say he's the sweetest guy ever, but they are very attentive and helpful. I feel pretty happy with him.

Day 2:
I woke up this morning, took a shower and washed my super bloody garments and binders. I was still leaking a little from two areas so I put the ointment the dr gave me back on them and then put everything else back on once they were all clean.
I feel like I had the workout of my life. I didn't sleep well but it was only bc my back didn't like the binders. For some reason it made me feel pain in my back (I had no surgery done on my back). I got a good 3 hour nap in and feel rested. So far, I just feel extra sore. I also have gone through some bouts of 'why did I do this'
When I did see my stomach after I got out of the shower though, I could see a big difference.
I wish I could eat healthy already but I'm basically eating whatever is comfort food.

Day 3: well yesterday I went through some depression. I felt ugly and tired of draining and wearing binders. I felt sick of being sick. I know I will look great when it's all said and done, but in the mean time I just feel like it's going to take forever to get back to normal.
I also took too much ibprophen and Tylenol. I chilled myself and was shaking and cold. My fever dropped to 96.7 so whatever you do if you get cold bundle up with blankets and stop taking so much ibprophen or Tylenol. Lets hope today I've finally stopped draining, and I finished my antibiotic this morning.

Day 3 (part 2):
I took everything off and got in the shower. Wasn't pushing myself hard and al the sudden I started blacking out and I ended up dry heaving. I had to sit down and let it pass. Needless to say I'm a little upset the Dr and staff said I could go back to class within a day or two. I've leaked so much fluid and then this...there's no way I could be walking around campus. I can barely take a shower, false sales tactic. Not happy about it. I had to email my professor and ask her to take my exam later.

Day 5:
Well I'm doing ok. I have to take things slow, but I am moving around more and feeling better. I've been taking vitamin C and I swear it's been helping. I'm still leaking in one area, the dr says that's ok. I'm finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. This has been no simple fix, it takes a long time to heal, but I am feeling better and not hating myself.

Day 6: I woke up, got afraid of gaining weight back because I have my appetite back on full force, and went for a walk. I walked 1/4th mile and then I stopped. I did it with only garment (swimsuit looking thing) and no binders on. Feels like I jogged a mile, but there's no way I could have done that 2-3 days ago.
I also slept last night with no binders either.
I will put them on when I go to class today though.
