Great Experience and Great Results

Dr. Constantinides was heaven sent. Not only is he extremely talented and artistic in what he does, he has great Bed side mannner. I had my nose redone with him after 1.5 post initial rhinoplasty that was done by a PS that mostly does body. I strongly recommend going with someone who has been trained and specializes in the face. Dr. C won my confidence immediately. He took his time during our first consult. He understood my needs and desires and recognized what needed to be done. My new nose is natural and beautiful.

Non Surgical Nose Job for Wide Flat Nose. Austin, TX

Recovery wise, t my nose was swollen later that day which was kind of scary. However, he did tell me to expect it. I am now 3 days out and everything is fine. The amount of redness has decreased and it is not near as sore as it was. As far as the procedure, it is a series of relatively painless needle sticks (they put numbing cream on your nose for 30 minutes). The only time I felt a bit of pain was in the tip of my nose and it was very tolerable. It does seem that my results have decreased a bit ,however, he also told me to expect this and my final results will be seen in 2 weeks. I am very happy with this option and would totally do it again.

Non Surgical Nose Job- Definitely Worth Exploring! Austin, TX

I had a rhino/septoplasty several years back that left me with too much of a dip in the bridge, a bulbous tip and some asymmetry. Not wanting to go in for revision... I explored the possibility of non surgical rhinoplasty to correct these issues. After lots of reading and before/after photo exploration, I consulted with Dr. Constantinides, who has since helped me to attain 2 of the 3 desired outcomes.... the bridge and the symmetry. I'm still left with the 'bulbous tip', but I'm much happier with the results and can live with imperfection for now. In all honesty, knowing what I know now, I may have been better off doing non surgical rhinoplasty to fix the aesthetic aspects of my first surgery... but hind sight is always 20/20. If anyone else plans to explore the non surgical option, be sure to use a surgeon who regularly performs rhinoplasty and someones who is experienced with non surgical nose jobs.

Fernanda Leventhal's Rhinoplasty. New York, NY

I was referred to Dr. Constantinides by my otolaryngologist, who told me that Dr. Constantinides, being an otolaryngologist himself, was the only person who could fix the structural damage done to my nose from a previous plastic surgery I had had many years before. I had a large septal perforation in my nose, my septum was severely deviated, and I had had nasal obstruction, including damage to the nasal bones and part of the cartilage collapsing inwards. I also had difficulty breathing through one side of my nose . Due to his ENT background, and his experience as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Constantinides was able to structurally fix the damage in my nose, which helped me breathe much better, while at the same, concentrating on the aesthetics of my nose. He is an outstanding otolaryngologist and an excellent plastic surgeon.

Senior Who Loves SCULPTRA! - Manhattan, NY

He is a genius with the stuff! Love him and love the product which lasts a respectable amount of time. I never leave without being lined up for the next appointment. I most especially like his assistant, Denise, who makes each office visit extra comfortable. I have been using SCULPTRA for a decade and never walk out of Dr. C's office disappointed. I trust him and trust the product!

Complicated Revision Rhinoplasty - New York, NY

I had a terrible rhinoplasty which needed fixing and then to top it all of I was in a horrible car wreck. Thank god I found Dr. Constantinides. He literally saved my life and this review is long over due. It has been four years since my reconstructive surgery and I could not be more pleased! I love him and his wife, who have been there for me throughout the years. If you want a true expert, this is your guy!

Crooked Nose, Retracted and Uneven Nostrils

Not a good job on my nose unfortunately. I’m 3 years post-op. I tried to live with it and tolerate it but its just too crooked and nostrils quite retracted and uneven. I’m officially getting a revision in a couple of months. At the very least, Constantinides did agree with me that the nostrils are retracted and the results arent ideal. He did offer a free revision but said he didn’t think he could make any meaningful improvements. I do wish I had done my research before going with him- even the results he posts on his instagram (which one can assume are his best work) often have bridges that are not straight and sometimes a piggish appearance like mine. The photos I’ve included are what I sent to diff doctors when looking to consult for a revision. The nose is not AWFUL, but it’s pretty bothersome.

I look like a different person - my nose is that twisted and crooked

I came to Dr. C's page to see if anyone else had a truly disappointing, if not disfiguring rhinoplasty experience with this doctor. Lo and behold, many, MANY prior patients have commented below and have had the same exact experience... Primary rhinoplasty with Dr. C in 2012 resulting in a contantly runny, bulbous, horribly uneven nose... one nostril is noticeably larger and higher than the other... and the best part, I look like a completely different person from one profile to the other, my nose is that twisted and crooked now. Dr. C feigned shock that I was unhappy but offered a revision for $5K - which would cover anesthesia and the like. I decided to seek another opinion - or rather - MANY other opinions of the best surgeons in NYC. I was told by Tabbal and Pearlman that a revision to straighten the nose and sculpt the tip would not be possible because instead of going in through the nostrils, Dr. C cut the entire base of my nose and opened it up off my face like a book to do the work. Both doctors asked aloud, "Why did he do that?!" No one could figure it out. My nose was not some monstrous mess pre-surgery - I just wanted it a touch smaller, more refined. Dr. Daniel Baker said incredulously, "Why did you go to him?!" Other doctors offered filler or botox, but nothing permanent could be done to fix my nose. I decided only recently to again seek a revision since the field of medicine is 10 years more advanced sine I had this work done, and in researching other doctors I decided to look up Dr. C to see if he was still in business or run out of town... Well lol. he was run out of town. I'll bet he lost his medical license in NY. He is a truly terrible doctor who alters lives for the worse. I will never forgive him for what he did to my looks.

Severely distorted rib graft and eyelid surgery.

While practicing in Manhattan, this surgeon disfigured my nose and eyelids and despite that he agreed to fix the problematic issues with the results of his surger(ies), suddenly and without prior notice moved his practice to Austin, Texas. Not only is the rib graft completely crooked but Dr. Constantinides, FACS., whom insisted he would be able to even out the graft if he did my eyelids instead adds insult to injury and pulls my upper eyelids way down and the lower lids inside out. I’m now in need of ectropian eye lid repair so that I will be able to fully close my eyes and have also seen numerous nose experts, including Dr. Pearlman, FACS and Sam Rizk, FACS whom say that my only option to straighten the crooked rib graft is Silicon injections.

Another Bad Rhinoplasty - New York

I had high hopes for my procedure, but this doc turned out to be like the rest of the plastic surgeons here in NYC: only out for the money as opposed to being a plastic surgeon that is skilled and genuinely cares about improving people's looks. He has no skill whatsover; average at best and below average with my rhinoplasty results. Now i'm stuck picking up the pieces from the botched job that left my tip looking horrendous. Also came to my attention from some of his other patients that have left reviews detailing their bad experience, that some of his reviews (the good ones) seem to be fake. Ethics in medicine does not seem to exist anymore. Minas' ancestor Hippocrates is rolling in his grave right now.
