Through 18 months of breast cancer surgeries, chemotherapy and reconstruction, Dr. Proffer has been a constant ally. His professionalism, sense of humor, and surgical skills made a very traumatic life event manageable. He genuinely cares about his patient as a person, and actively seeks to identify and implement the best care/procedure for the individual patient. In addition to multiple, successful local surgeries, Dr. Proffer graciously worked with a team of medical professionals from across Texas to ensure that I had the best of care and procedures personalized to my unique needs.
