I had deep lines in my naturally semi-full lips and have been wanting them filled forever. After looking at realself for a couple of years, I decided to go for it with Dr. Toyos. One of her assistants escorted me to a room where he then asked my concerns (like nurses do when you go tor a Dr appointment) and then Dr Toyos came in and went over everything with me, telling me her method, telling me about the juvederm ultra, and she was just very thorough and extremely polite. (I also got kybella but will do a separate review on that)She numbed me with a numbing cream so strong that I imagine only licensed professionals can obtain it, and we started with 1 mL. After looking at my lips I decided I wanted a more dramatic change, so I got an additional mL and my lips were swollen afterward, but I LOVED the look. She kept the lovely shape my lips have naturally, and took her time to make sure the product was distributed evenly. It didn't hurt in the slightest, and neither did the healing process.. I fell in love with how my swollen lips looked, so at my 4 week "check up" I got another mL. This second appointment, I got more kybella and 2 mL of filler in my receded chin. (Again, these will be separate reviews for people interested in those topics specifically)I'll post some before and after photos (note I DO have lip liner & plumping gloss on in my after photo and am pursing my lips, but you get a reasonable idea of how they look after the swelling went down after 3 mL) If you want a natural result I'd say 1 or 2 mL is PERFECT for full lips, I just wanted... dramatic lips lol.

I am 65 years old and just needed a Refresh nothing aggressive. Melissa Toyo's is awesome and came up with the plan to do a Light Mixto on my whole face and under the eyes a bit more. She also did a Light Kybella under the chin and along my jaw line. The Mixto downtown for me the worst was the first 4-5 days then it peeled lightly for up to 2 weeks as if I was using a Retinol product. What I like about the Mixto and Melissa's skill is that she can go light or aggressive. The Kybella is not for wimps LOL but the pain is worth it. I was worried about sagging skin at my age but so far it looks pretty good. They say the second time is not as bad. She has been working with Kybella for a while now and knows just where to place it to do the best job. I will go back for another Kybella at the 6- 7 week mark and in the fall do another Mixto session. I did not put a price because Melissa will come up with a plan for each person. And you can even spread out sessions to work with your own budget.

Dr. Toyos as well as her staff were very informative & helpful in regard to my concerns & expectations. I am 39, in decent shape, & over the last two years have noticed excess elbow skin. I never thought I would be obsessing over elbows but I felt they were causing me to look older than I am. I drove several hours from New Orleans to receive the MiXto lazer in addition to some juvederm to the area. Thank the lord & Dr. Toyos because I finally feel good about wearing short sleeves! I wasn’t sure if it was possible but the MiXto lazor really worked a miracle for me. I received the treatment one month ago today and every day they keep looking better. I decided to do my face as well while I was there and it took at least 3-5 years off my appearance! You must wear a good face sunscreen to keep up with your results but I am truly pleased & will definitely be a repeat costumer! Elbow rejuvenation is actually a thing!

I noticed by the time I turned 40 that my eyes looked heavy and tired. Also when I smiled my eyes slanted even more. At the optometrist the eye doctor constantly told me to open my eyes wider. In biology class when looking through a microscope I just saw my eyelashes and not the specimen. My eyelashes turned downward and into my eyes. I constantly had irritation and loose eyelashes in my eyes. My right eyelid was dropped a lot lower than my left. It obstructed my view and didnt let me see around me without moving my head to the object. I made a decision to get blepharoplasty or bilateral lid surgery. Withing days of the surgery my eyes looked wider and I looked refreshed and alert. My eyelashes stuck straight out and out of my eyes. I was overjoyed with the process in less than 24 hours! I wish I had done this years ago!

Recently got Juvederm on my lips. Dr. Toyos is amazing, after several failed attempts to get the perfect lips at different clinics around Nashville I'm so glad I found Dr. Toyos. The staff is super friendly and totally cater to your needs. Dr. Toyos personally injects her patients and makes sure you're satisfied with the procedure.

I've been fighting wrinkles & bags under my eyes for years. I decided to go to Dr Melissa Toyos who suggested the Mitxo Lite laser treatment. I could not be more thrilled with the results! My skin looks so much tighter & younger looking. I no longer have skin that looks aged or sun damaged. I wish I had done this sooner. I'm addicted!

My motivation is just to make me feel better and look younger. The pros to this is .. that does make u feel better to enhance our looks.., The cons is that Botox takes 5 to 7 days to really show up. And it only lasts about 3 to 6 months so you have to keep going back for more. Which I do because I'm addicted about Botox !

I got Mixto laser done on my face, I had a big scar in my forehead and I wanted it gone. I also had some wrinkles that I did not like so Dr. Toyos explained the whole procedure before I did anything and I made up my mind and did it. I'm so glad I did. She is such an amazing doctor and the whole time I felt like I've known her forever. I was really confortable from the beginning. The procedure was so quick and I had no pain at all. My face felt great right after, super smooth. I have been on the cleaning foams and the mixto moist and I'm loving the way my face looks and feels. Thank you Dr. Toyos !!!!

I had my daughter's graduation and I needed to look my best. A friend had Mixto with Melissa and it looked great. Had my procedure and stayed home for a weekend. I was back at work on Monday. My skin looks great. Everyone at the graduation commented how young I looked. I have referred two friends and they love. One is on TV and people have been wondering what she has done to look so good.

Dr. Melissa Toyos performed a mixto laser procedure on me, and she was such a joy to work with! She first evaluated my skin and complexion to decide what to focus on during the procedure. She knew what I needed before I did! She really knows how to examine your skin and features and decide what would be best for you. She explained the process to me pre-procedure, and also talked me through the procedure as she was using the laser. And she really took her time to make sure she hit every spot. I couldn't stop smiling! I can't wait to see her for my follow up to see what she thinks and/or recommends. I also recommend her iScience at home skin care products that she created herself through her own time and research. I've also used Toyos clinic for my eye exam. It was efficient and thorough, and I received my prescription for glasses and/or contacts. The icing on the cake about Toyos clinic is that it is clean and aesthetically pleasing, and while you are waiting on your appointment, you can have a complimentary cup of Starbucks coffee! (dark, medium, or light.) My experience I have had thus far has been professional and enjoyable. Her staff is always kind and helpful as well as accommodating to my crazy work schedule when I am making an appointment.
