Procedures I'm known for

Skin Rejuvenation and Resurfacing
Age, sun exposure, and lifestyle can lead to wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and skin laxity. At my Nashville practice, we offer a variety of nonsurgical skin rejuvenation procedures to treat these issues and other skin concerns. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your aesthetic goals, and I will recommend a personalized skin rejuvenation treatment protocol to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, firm skin, and even out your skin tone, so you look more youthful and radiant. I am particularly well-known for my expertise with laser skin resurfacing and radiofrequency energy devices. I am actively involved with the development and testing of these technologies and have trained physicians from all over the world. I offer my patients Fraxel laser treatments, IPL photofacials, PDT, and other cutting-edge treatments to stimulate new collagen production while fading scars, sun damage, and discoloration.
Eyelid Enhancement
Aging, injury, or genetics can all cause the upper eyelids to droop, making you look older—and even obscuring vision. Others have under-eye bags that become more pronounced with age. Many of my Nashville-area patients who want to look younger and see more clearly opt for eyelid surgery. Also known as an eye lift or blepharoplasty, this procedure reshapes eyelid tissue while removing the excess, which creates a rejuvenated, more youthful look. Lower eyelid surgery can remove eye bags, taking years off your appearance. Heavy, drooping eyelids can also be caused by eyebrows pushing down into the upper eye area. It may seem that an eye lift is the answer, but a brow lift might be more suitable. When the forehead is lifted, the eyes look younger and refreshed. Endoscopic brow lift surgery uses tiny surgical telescopes, inserted through small incisions placed discreetly behind the hairline. With this innovative technique, results are natural-looking and visible scarring is rare.
Scar Treatments
Scars can be a major source of distress to a patient and impact self-esteem, which is why I offer many treatments to effectively eliminate or significantly reduce their appearance. I often use a combination of approaches to create the best possible result. Some patients have different scar types and may require a combination of treatments. This could include scar revision surgery, laser treatments, topical medications, or dermal filler injections. I'm proud to offer hope for patients who have been told that their scars cannot be treated. For example, I use a specially modified resurfacing laser called SCAAR FX to release tightness in scars that limit movement. To treat thick, elevated scars, I may use Laser Assisted Drug Delivery, a revolutionary approach that involves performing laser resurfacing, then delivering anti-inflammatory drugs into the channels created by the laser.
