bye bye varicose veins

Dr Siragusa and his staff are AMAZING!! I came from out of state to see him and very pleased with my results. I had been battling varicose vein’s for 10 years and they were getting worse and more painful. With one quick and easy procedure, my varicose veins are gone. The procedure itself took less than 30 min, virtually painless, and NO DOWNTIME! Highly recommend

Best vein treatments

I had several spider veins and varicose veins that I have dealt with for many years. Dr Siragusa as able to quickly diagnose my problem and come up with a treatment plan after the ultrasound. He then did two sessions of sclerotherapy on my...

impeccable care and hospitable

Dr. Siragusa and his incredible staff were fun, informative and VERY hands on and kind. It is rare to meet cool and connected physicians and he is one of them. Great music was playing in the treatment room- the staff was conservative in their approach and the team is top notch- i will be back again!

Wonderful experience with Dr. Siragusa and his wonderful staff. Welcomed by the office staff as soon as I walked in. Amber (his lead nurse) injected botox and juviderm ultra on my lips. She is GREAT!! She has been injecting for 14 years, and she is amazing. I highly recommend this office:)))

Q: EVLT Type Procedures Worth It for Varicose Veins?
Answered by Dr. SiragusaJuly 3, 2018

A: if you have varicose veins, they can be treated. Ask your vascular surgeon what Toby suggest to make your legs feel better. If they don’t ha e an answer go somewhere else and find someone who can address the veins that bother you.

Q: EVLT treatment on bulging hand and wrist veins.
Answered by Dr. SiragusaApril 9, 2018

A: Two options for treating hand veins that you find unsightly include The injection of foam (sclerotherapy) or performing a phlebectomy. Not all vein doctors work on the hands however these two treatments are both very effective for resolving unsightly hand veins.

Q: Trying to decide if I should proceed with EVLT and microphlebectomy?
Answered by Dr. SiragusaApril 5, 2018

A: If you experience any swelling in your legs as well as bulging veins, the first line of treatment is daily use of 20-30 mmHg compression stockings.  This usually will help slow down the progression of the problem but usually does not make it go away.  The risks for EVLT and phlebectomy should be extremely low.  A lot of patients become a little nervous when they read about the potential complications.  Remember, we are required to list every problem that has ever occurred on the consent form, even if an individual doctor has never had that complication.  I'd speak with your doctor about what he has noticed to be the chances of developing any complications and I think you'll feel much better once you do.

Q: Treatment for Bulging Vein on my Ankle Bone?
Answered by Dr. SiragusaApril 4, 2018

A: When it comes to veins, an easy way to make a distinction between normal and abnormal veins is whether the vein is very straight or not. If the vein in this area around your ankle is very straight and fades in to disappear into your calf, this is likely your great saphenous vein and has no abnormalities with it. If you have a twisty, ropey, vein on your leg, these usually represent varicose veins that can be treated.

Q: How Long Before Spider Veins Disappear With Asclera??
Answered by Dr. SiragusaApril 3, 2018

A: Everyone is different when it comes to how long it takes for spider veins they disappear after injections. For small spider veins I would give it at least a month before even look at my legs again. Some people can take up to three months by the time they go away.  It is also important to understand that after having an area treated, on average about 80% of those veins will fade. Most patients will require a touch up for any of these persistent, pesky  veins that stick around.
