Almost 2 weeks ago, I underwent surgery at SSA to address various areas of concern. Dr. Gardner handled all of my facial procedures (chin implant, chin lipo, Renuvion skin tightening, & facial fat transfer) and he couldn’t have done a more phenomenal job! I saw amazing results on day 1 and these will continue to improve even further over time. I was also very impressed that Dr. Gardner took the personal initiative to call me the night after surgery to check on me, in spite of also having lower ranking doctors already tasked with making these calls. That was really cool. He also chose to be present for my 2 week checkup rather than sending one of the Fellows to handle this chore. From the beginning, I knew I could trust his judgment and he made me feel so confident that I was making the right decision to address my weak chin. And he was not wrong! Really down to earth guy w/ very peaceful, cool energy. When I’m older and seeking a facelift, I now know who I will be calling!

My right breast was a 34D & my left breast was a 34B. All I wanted was symmetry to be more comfortable in my own skin. Dr. Gardner showed me my options, answered all my questions truthfully & listened to my wants and needs. I decided on a unilateral breast reduction on my right side. I am so thankful for the work Dr. Gardner did & the results were better than I ever imagined. He’s professional, honest and respectful to my wishes. This man is a God send!

I had Core 360 Liposuction and tummy tuck by Dr. Gardner. I can not praise his abilities enough. The consultation itself was vey informative, he took his time and went through every detail with me. The day of the surgery, we went back over everything to make sure I was comfortable and ready. He prayed with me before surgery and that was unexpected and very enduring and reassuring. My experience with Dr. Gardner has been a 10/10 from the very beginning! I was so nervous starting this journey but the calmness in his presence made all my nerves go away! His bedside manner is unmatched. I've never had a doctor explain things the way he did nor be as kind! Dr. Gardner checked on me every step of the way post op and saw me at all my follow ups. I am now 6 months post op and have never looked or felt better. My tummy tuck incision is so faint and all my bathing suits and underwear cover it PERFECTLY. I would do this 1000 times over! 5'2, 110, 11.5 bandwidth, started with barely filling a 32A bra. It has been a long time coming for me to finally get my surgery scheduled. I was suppose to get it done the week before Labor day, but ended up with COVID so we has to push it back! I started out looking at 250cc. I am 5'2 112 pounds very active and barely fill a 34a bra. I have always wanted this done, so I had several consultations and ended up going with 335 cc natrelle soft touch full profile.Being able to read everyone else reviews helped me so much and gave me a sense of comfort going into my surgery! Doctor Gardner was extremely patient and the whole staff truly cared for you. I am now on post op day 2. My left boob was a bit smaller so it is causing me a lot more pain than my right, and you can tell it is stiff and more swollen than the right. I am so excited for the process and watch the drop and fluff, even on day one I can already tell they are going to drop and fluff nicely! Updated on 5 Oct 2021: I was very happy with how they are already sitting! My left boob definitely is causing me more discomfort as it was silently smaller, however it’s not the worst pain I have ever been in. I have legitimately have wanted a breast augmentation from the moment my mom got one ( I was 3 years old & I know it's sounds ridiculous) once I went through puberty my breast never developed a ton so I have always had really tiny breasts. I have always weighed less than 100lbs standing at a whopping 5'1 and was never anything past a B cup. However when I got pregnant I gained about 97lbs ( crazy, I know) and I was wearing a D size bra towards the last 2-3 months of my pregnancy and then my milk came in and I was a DD. WELP. My milk dried up and I went back down to about a C cup and HATED the way I looked. I started really researching for a plastic surgeon to do my BA as soon as I knew I could afford it. I ended up going with Dr Gardener at Southern Surgical Arts and my surgery was set for June 16th! I went in for my consult and decided on silicone gummy her implants at 485cc. I went in for the surgery at 12:15pm and my surgeon told me that he would try his best to get those big implants into my petite body frame and that if he couldn't he'd Ha today go smaller but he'd give me the biggest implant that would fit. Seeing as how I was beyond thrilled to finally have some nice looking girls, I didn't mind a but as long as they helped me look more proportional and were sexy af. POST OP: the first thing that came out of my mouth was "what size did he give me" the nurse told me he went with what was originally planned! I was so freaking excited! So, 485cc in my right breast and 450cc in my left since my left has always been naturally bigger. I trusted my surgeon. I left the outpatient center and was headed to fill my prescriptions and knew I needed to eat before I took everything on an empty stomach. While waiting in the parking lot of Walgreens I felt myself turn green and quickly opened the car door and threw up. My chest muscles were SO TIGHT I was having a hard time breathing. Pain wasn't unbearable, just the tightness. I ended up throwing up about 2-3 more times that same day before bed. My doctor prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxers, antibiotics and nausea medication. I have my 1day post op appointment today at 4pm Updated on 18 Jun 2020: MOTIVATION: I have wanted a breast augmentation ever since my mom got one when I was 3 yrs old (crazy, right?) As I got older and my boobs grew no bigger than a b cup, my desire for a BA never went away. When I got pregnant at 21 my boobs blew up to a size D and then a DD once my milk came in. After my mild dried up, my boobs deflated and I was a small saggy C cup. Still not happy with my breasts, I started researching for optic surgeons around me. My best friend of about 13 years worked at a surgical center/med spa and recommended I check them out. After my initial consult (over FaceTime during quarantine) I scheduled my surgery. The initial price was 5,299 for the silicon gummy bear implants but they offered me 30% off if I paid in full. So, I ended up paying about 3,709. (Total steal) BEFORE: I went to my in office consult bout 2-3 months later a couple weeks before my surgery and tried on the sizers and decided 485 cc would make me lost my most proportionate. (Mind you, I'm 5'1 and about 130lbs. I have always been shaped like a pear with a large bottom half and tiny top half and have always wanted an hourglass shape)   I go in for my surgery at 12:15 on 6/16/20 and did my final sizing and photos. After talk with the doctor, he advised since my left breast is naturally a bit larger than right breast that it may be best to do 450cc in my left and 485cc in my right. I trusted him, so I said ok. With that, he also advised that, since I am so petite, he may not be able to get such large implants in my small torso so he may have to go a bit smaller on both but would try his best to give me what I wanted. He told me "regardless, they're going to look great".. so i was very confident I'd be either way.   POST OP: The first thing that came out of my mouth was "did they fit?!?" My nurse kind of laughed and said "Yep! They fit! He got the 450cc in the left and the 485cc in the left" **HECK YEAH** I was so excited. I had her take a photo of them for me while I was laying there before she helped me get dressed (pictured above)... I had my driver take me directly to get my scripts filled and to grab some food before I took anything. While I was waiting in the parking lot for my meds, I got super sick and threw up outside the car. We grabbed my meds and hit a Taco Bell and ate 1 soft taco (It was almost 4pm and I hadn't eaten anything since midnight the night before and was STARVING)   We got home and I got sick again after I took my meds. .. I finally got situated in the bed with all of my pillows and things and slept for a couple hours then tried to eat again. Got sick again.. (still starving so I kept eating and kept getting sick each time)..  They prescribed me a nausea medicine, pain medicine, muscle relaxer and antibiotics..   I had always been told by other women that when I woke up I'd feel like I had an elephant sitting on my chest, and even tho it didn't feel quite like that, my chest was soooo tight. (Probably bc I got the biggest implants possible *oops*) Generally, the pain was definitely bearable but the tightness was super unbearable and I probably the reason I kept getting sick.  DAY 1 PO: I'm dying to see my new girls!!! I definitely don't feel as tight today and the pain is slim to none. My 1 day FU visit with Dr Gardner is today at 4 and I will likely see if there are any other stronger muscle relaxer available, since that's all I'm truly struggling with. Here are my photos from the day after : Updated on 19 Jun 2020: This is my 3rd day post op. I’ve been dying to get back to normal and get back in a bathing suit and today I did. My breasts obviously haven’t dropped much but I’m definitely seeing some progress. My PS recommend I not wear a bra this weeks just to help them drop easier. Still not able to do much for myself or my 1 year old. ....wondering how long it will take for my breasts to drop and look “normal”ish. I’m ready to show off my girls!!! Updated on 20 Jun 2020: Starting to feel some tingly in my nipples and I’m assuming it’s from the nerve feelings coming back, but no sure. Definitely much easier recovery than I thought, after about day 2 that is LOL. I’ve stayed on top of my meds and am only taking the muscle relaxers but I’m off the narcotics. I am asking toradol and Tylenol for pain now. Updated on 14 Jul 2020: This was my incisions at almost 4 weeks post op. My surgeon “buried” thee dissolvable stitches and I actually have one poking out on my left side but it is hardly noticeable by eye but can be felt if I rub the incision. I am very pleased with my experience! I was a bit nervous that they wouldn’t drop but they are dropping right as they should Updated on 14 Jul 2020: They’ve dropped a bit but still have a ways to go. I swear they look better and better each passing day.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Gardner the day following a breast operation by one of his colleagues (who happened to be at a different location during my day 1 post op visit). I was highly impressed at the genuine care Dr. Gardner gave to me and my case; especially given that I wasn’t even his own patient. He took the time to access how I was feeling, to examine my operation sites, test the affected nerves for sensation, and offer paternal advice on how to safely manage my pain. He’s a highly personable doctor and I feel confident he would be an excellent choice for anyone considering him as their cosmetic surgeon. I can’t say enough great things about Southern Surgical Arts and their entire staff. Updated on 29 Feb 2020: Since it was the 1st day getting to SEE my new boobs since surgery the previous afternoon, I had asked Dr. Gardner if he minded me just snapping a quick pic in the mirror (to document the drop/fluff process thru time). He jovially replied, “of course not—they’re yours!” Then after my mediocre mirror shot, he said “let me take one for you.” He had me face forward, at 45 degrees, and at 90 degrees from both sides. He said “if we’re taking pics we might as well do it right!” It was very endearing that he was so enthusiastic about my results and cared about making sure I retained quality angled photos from my day 1 checkup.

I was having pain in my legs after working 12 hours and exercising. I went to Dr. Gardner wondering if there was anything that could be done. After ultra sound of my legs Dr. Gardner explained in great detail of why my legs were hurting. Dr. Gardner also had a video for me to watch to explain the procedures I needed done.

I am very happy with my results. Having the procedure was definitely worth it. I feel 100% much more confident. My breast look very natural, as if I was born with them. I get alot of compliments!! Now others I know are considering getting boob jobs! I have mentor silicon, total submuscular, 400cc and 450cc. Before I was a 34B, Now Im a 34DD. Results are just the right size. I wish I would have had the procedure sooner!
