A smile is the curve that sets everything straight ! The power of a smile in all of our relationships i.e. personal, business, etc is indescribable. I was blessed genetically with strong, heathy teeth, however they like to "move.". I wore braces in middle school and for the most part my teeth remained really straight until I gave birth to two children in two years. Horomonal roller coaster perhaps but my teeth slowly started returning to their original crooked pattern and I became more and more aware of it. As I would see photos of myself I began to become concerned at how quickly my teeth were getting out of control. A female professional adult well into their career and a mother of teens having to consider "BRACES" was well..... not something I could imagine. ugh. I walked into yoga one day and a friend of mine smiled and said he just gotten braces. I said "I don't see them" ha ha. I literally had to look really close to even notice. He then told me about the "SIX MONTH SMILE" (a procedure I had never heard of but quickly became very interested in ). Time rocked on and a few months later as he was teaching yoga I looked at him and thought to myself "SIGN ME UP.". I spoke with him after class & he told me about his friend Dr. Damien Armstrong. He highly recommended him and said he had two offices (one in Southside / downtown and one in East Brainerd) which made things even more convenient. A few weeks later another friend showed up with these miraculous and speedy braces. I had to get on the train. Clear braces for 6 months. Yes! I could do it ! I was dying to find out if it would work for me and called to schedule a free consultation. I cannot say enough about Dr Armstrong and his staff. We live in a world in which "everything" has become "so" complex. The staff at both offices were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I was given an appointment very quickly. At my consultation Dr Armstrong greeted me as if he had known me forever. He listened to my many questions and treated me as if I was his only patient that day. He took me personally to meet his insurance / billing staff and within 15 minutes they confirmed my insurance coverage questions and told me exActly what my cost would be. I was pleasantly surprised to find out my dental insurance covered 50% of my desired treatment. Not only we this all so unbelievably smooth, but I saw them on a Friday and they put my braces on the following Tuesday !!!!! Because I am self employed and a mother of two teenagers, my life is very fast paced and hectic. My job requires some travel and I am not the "ideal" patient. I was literally amazed at how Dr Armstrong's staff worked with me to make available appointment times at the exact location I needed. It took no time to put the braces on and zero pain. I was given wax to put on any brackets that rubbed my mouth to avoid irritation. I would recommend using that for a week to 10 days and I took Lysine ( an all natural supplement that heals mouth irritations). Very few people even notices I "had" braces. I was fortunate enough to only have to wear them 4 months. Certainly this is different for everyone, but WOW !!! It sounds too good to be true ! I highly recommend Dr Armstrong ! Lastly, in addition to the provider, the staff and the treatment results being so amazing, the offices are very nice. Great music, very stylish and relaxing. Dr. Armstrong has the most advanced technology and has spared no expense to provide his patients with the "best of the best."I often found myself very frustrated with the "lack" of advanced technology and offerings of new cosmetic procedures in Chattanooga. So happy Dr. Armstrong chose our city. His passion for his work and people as a whole is very obvious . Thank you Dr Armstrong and your wonderful staff for helping me get my smile. back so quickly !
