Excellent practice and skilled staff. Dr. Shawn was my surgeon for a thigh lift, arm lift, breast lift, tummy tuck and liposuction with fat transfer to my breasts. I find him to have an excellent process from consult through your post operative visits. He’s highly knowledgeable and skilled. I’m so pleased with my results and am glad I trusted this life changing decision to be in the care of his team. His staff is efficient, caring and impressive. His practice is also centric to all things wellness related, so not only once service in plastic surgery. I was able to have vitamin IV treatments after both of my surgeries with red light therapy. Very much look forward to continuing my maintenance and aesthetic goals with Optimal Self.

Was sleeved December 2018 causing loose skin. Dr. Birchenough and his staff have been top notch from being to end. My results are only 3 days post-op, so I can only imagine what fully healed is going to look like. I would do this surgery over and over again . I definitely suggest a consult with Dr. Birchenough and will be using him with any future needs!

So far I'm very happy with these results! I have had zero pain with this. Slightly tender but not too bad. Worth it for sure! Can not wait to see it once it's fully healed. This photo was taken the day of my surgery.

Fantastic doctor and great team! Got breast reduction done a few years back with wonderful result. Went back this year for a tummy tuck and lipo on my chin. I am absolutely love the results! Dr. Birchenough and his team provided the best experience! I was looking for increased fullness in my upper lip. One syringe of Juvederm was used to achieve my improved, yet natural look! I had one syringe of Restylane Silk on my upper lip done. The whole process at OptimalSelf MD is just lovely. I was always scared to have anything done in fear I would be judged for not loving myself just the way I am. I realized after having my lips done that I can love my self and still want to change things I don’t like. Those two things can exist at the same time and not change a thing about self love. My lips were one of my biggest insecurities and now they’re what makes me more confident. Loving and liking what I see now to me is a fricken win and I’m blessed to have found people I trust to help me change my life!
