5 out of 5 stars Botox
I've gotten Botox or dysport at 4 different places in Charleston, Dr. Germaine is my favorite. I wouldn't go anywhere else again. Her office is very busy so you can't get appointments last minute. They always do a great job with whatever budget I'm working with and don't push too much filler on you. I like the natural look.

41 and Tired of Buying Pants Large Enough to Fit my Thighs but Three Sizes Too Large for my Waist. Mount Pleasant, SC
I have struggled with my thighs since I was young. I played a lot of sports and developed thick and muscular thighs and calves. Once I stopped playing sports the muscle turned to flab. No matter what exercises I do, my thighs are the last place I lose weight. I had recently lost 25 lbs and decided to take matters a step further and try cool sculpting. I spent a lot of time researching this...
5 out of 5 stars Ultherapy
I was so excited to have this procedure done!! I had a consult a year ago and debated about whether to go forward. So finally, I decided now was as good of a time as any. I turned 50 last summer and while I've always had a pretty youthful attitude and look, the imagine in the mirror over the past couple of years was getting a little tired and saggy looking. Ok, I confess: sometimes it actualy...
4 out of 5 stars Ultherapy
This was expensive, and i was very, very hopeful, however, I really do not see much difference. No one has told me about how much better I look, etc.../mouth. I sure hope that it will be worh it--I keep hoping! After over three months, i still have a little tingling on the left side of face around jawline area. I was expecting a miracle, and I am fairly emotionally deflated about it. I still...
5 out of 5 stars Ultherapy
After reading the reviews on this site I cancelled my appointment for Ultherapy 2 times. The pain and bruising people were reporting had me very concerned. I am most happy to report it was a breeze. I was quite nervous about the pain but the anti anxiety pill and the pain pill taken an hour before had really helped. I also took 4 Advil. The experience was not painful or uncomfortable and I...

I'm 52 years old, 5'1" and 115 pounds. For many years I have that 2-3 pounds of fat on my abdomen that won't go-a-way. Thanks to many reviews on this website and others I schedule appointment for consultation and actual coolsculpting, without my husband knowledge. **In the doctor's office first I had the consultation with the money-girl. She explained to me how much...
5 out of 5 stars Perlane
This was my first appointment with this doctor. Before I was seen other dermatologist in the area but price is what make me change. I'm glad I did because this dermatologist was a little more aggressive and results much faster and amassing. By aggressive this is what I mean. Usually I have 42 units Botox, now I received 60, make a big difference. Same with the filler one syringe vs two....
5 out of 5 stars Fraxel Laser
Excruciating -not for the sensitive types. I've had my neck & face done 5 times. Doing both eliminates the line of demarcation. I took half a Lortab this time & wished I had taken the whole thing. The numbing cream doesn't help much. I ask to have the cold air wand disconnected from the laser wand, then I hold & control the cold air, this helps. Fraxel really works so I...
5 out of 5 stars CoolSculpting
I had Zeltiq in the stomach and love handle areas. This review pertains only to the stomach area. The love handles were very easy and painless. The gel pad they place on you is extreamly cold. The actual machine is a little painful when it is being attached. It's a strong pulling sensation. After about 5 minutes, the pain went away. I did notice some swelling after the procedure...
5 out of 5 stars CoolSculpting
Always had issues with outer thighs. Tried Liposonix ( ouch!!!). Coolsculpting was a very comfortable experience and it worked!!! No meds required and no one ever knew I did it but made a huge difference for me. Love , love, love it! Could probably do one outer thigh once more to get completely flat results but I no longer even think about it with my clothes in. That will cost me about $700...

REFRESH your Skin For Spring By Louisa G. Floyd, MSPAS, PA-CDermatology PA, Germain Dermatology After crippling ice storms and a chilly winter in the Lowcountry, many of us are itching for spring days where we can break out the open-toed shoes, sleeveless shirts and shorts. But sometimes, what’s been hiding underneath all of those clothes may suddenly need attention, especially when it comes to your skin. If you’re grabbing a sleeveless dress for an upcoming party, be sure to check the...
Now that fall is here, winter is just around the corner. As tempatures go down, the humidity decreases, which can cause dry, cracked, or itchy skin. Thankfully, there are several ways to help keep our skin smooth in the cold weather months, as well as address any remaining blotchiness left over from the summer sun.Dr. Marguerite Germain of Germain Dermatology in South Carolina recommends a regimen that includes:Mild face wash with glycolic acid, which exfoliates naturally while adding...
We’re lucky to live in the beautiful Carolinas, from the beaches to the lakes, there’s always great things to do outside. But before you head into the summer sun, it’s important that you pay attention to your skin. Skin cancer is the most common form of all cancers and it accounts for nearly half of all cancers in the US. More than 2 million cases of non-melanoma skin cancer are found in this country each year. Now we know you can’t stay cooped up inside on these gorgeous Carolina...
