10 weeks post op update- Finally - Delaware-RECOVERY FROM 12/15- tt, ba AND LIFT -day 12 POST OP PICS

I fell in love with him today. It's hard for me to trust doctors, period. But Dr C. Saunders is very good, he goes in baby steps and gives you everything you need. You have to listen to what he tells you, and do what he says. My results are are way better then I expected.

I'm a 35, mother of 2 girls - Newark, DE

Hi RealSelf, I'm a 35, mother of 2 girls (4 & 3). I knew I wanted a TT after my first child, but wanted to wait until I was free and clear of having any more kids. At first, my husband did not understand, but after much grumbling about not fitting anything and complaining about how unhappy I was about my body, he said he would support my decision to have a tummy tuck and breast...

Tummy Tuck Nightmare

In 2014, I went to Dr. Christopher Saunders (Newark, DE) for a Tummy Tuck with Liposuction to the flanks and thighs. Prior to going to him, I had consulted with two other surgeons in Maryland (where I lived) but in the end decided to go with Dr. Saunders because of his glowing reviews here. I also check to see if he had any outstanding complaints and medical malpractice in DE and in PA...there were none. So I drove 2 hours out of my way to go to this wonderful doctor. The first thing that struck me was how arrogant he was. After driving for two hours, I was rushed in and out. On the day of my surgery, I expected Dr. Saunders to draw on the areas he would be sucking the fat from in my thighs and flanks, but that did not happen. That was the first problem I had with my surgery. The other problem I had was the Tummy Tuck. I decided that I wanted a high lateral tension tummy tuck to be performed. On day two after my surgery, I was vomiting blood, by day three I had bloody stools. When I called Dr. Saunders, he simply told me that if I was concerned, I should go to the emergency room. It stopped after the third day, but I was no where near pleased with his concern. So after the first month, I went to my primary care physician and told him all about the surgery. He was concerned and told me to get my medical records, as he wanted to see what was going on. I requested my records and was told by his staff that they would not release it to me, but they would send a copy to my primary. My primary care requested the records 3 times and I requested one time before they were faxed to my doctor. Of course, when my doctor received the fax, he indicated that he was not pleased that the entire record was not there. This was nightmare number one, the other nightmare was my belly button. I told him that I was not happy with my belly button that it was protruding out. His response was that it was still healing and that it could take almost a year for a total healing and for me to put a marble in my belly button. I also offered to do a belly button revision for only $500! I have gone to two plastic surgeons in the last year and both have commented on how large the belly button is and recommended a revision. This doctor is horrible and I would not recommend anyone that does not stand by their work, or even worry about the health of their patient.

Finally! All the curves in all the right places

Dr. Saunders has got to be one of the most genuine and incredibly talented surgeons in the Tri state area. Courteous, professional and responsive to his patients. I am currently 7 weeks post-op and am ecstatic about my results thus far. I have followed Dr. Saunders both pre & post operative instructions regarding my tummy tuck procedure and am thrilled at my results due to his guidance. He...

I had a tummy tuck in Winter 2015. Dr. 's bedside manners were caring. The nurses were also caring. I had no problems. I healed so well I did not want to go back for the 3 months post-op. You have to wear your girdle. I bought few more girdles that were easier to put on and I wore them during the whole Winter. I can wear bikinis and my tummy remains flat.

33 Years Old, 6ft 158 Pounds, 2 Kids - Chadds Ford, PA

Since this site has been so informative I've decided to start my journey on here as well. Before my kids I was maybe a 36B and now I'm a deflated 36A. I want to be a full C cup once I've completed BA. I see a PS this Saturday and I hope to have my procedure done in the month of April. I do know I want moderate plus as I want to get a natural look lol. So I'm jumping the gun a little bit and...

30 Yrs. Old, 150 Lbs. 475cc Mentor HP Silicone Implants!

He had a spring break special for breast augmentation that I just couldn't pass up. I went to his seminar and he explained the entire process. Sry thoroughly. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Very honest and upfront, and office staff and himself are always accessible, which was a big plus for a nervous wreck like myself! I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone!
