Dr Reedy and the entire team at Berks Plastic Surgery were a joy to work with before, during, and after my breast augmentation surgery. The lead patient coordinator, Steph, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable - she was transparent with pricing and what to expect as a mom to a young child. She helped with picking out type of implant and sizing that would look proportionate, remaining neutral while guiding honestly. Dr. Reedy was extremely patient and attentive to what my goals were and set realistic expectations for results. My recovery was quick and required no narcotics post op. My results are everything I was hoping for and more. The entire process was incredibly enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend Dr. Reedy and Berks Plastic Surgery to anyone thinking of a breast augmentation.
Dr. Reedy and his entire staff are a very talented, professional and heart centered group. Dr. Reedy has created an office culture that truly makes you feel incredibly welcome, safe and heard. He is a perfectionist with his work to achieve your desired results and goes above and beyond to ensure your happiness. I personally want to thank Stephanie for her assistance in answering all my questions to help me make the best decision I could for my breast augmentation replacement surgery with Dr. Reedy. I had an incredibly experience the day of surgery. Tonya, and two ladies both named Amy along with Dr. Reedy ensured my surgery day was smooth. They helped keep me calm before and also in recovery. Their attention to detail and kindness throughout stood out to me. My post op follow up nurses Taylor and Andrea have made recovery a breeze. They are also very informative, patient and kind. I've noticed that no matter who I work with and when I see Dr. Reedy that everybody takes the time to help me understand next steps, what to expect and how to ensure I have long lasting happiness with my results. Thank you to each and every one of you and especially Dr. Reedy. I am so happy.
I’m so glad I went with Dr. Reedy. When it was time to replace my antiquated water balloons I didn’t hesitate. My old set had a gap you could have driven a SEPTA train through. Dr Reedy gave me exactly what I wanted. He closed the gap by giving me a wider implant and increased the amount of cc’s. They’re bigger, squishier and perkier. Essentially jello on steroids. My recovery was a breeze. My first boob job I couldn’t shit for a week and I gained 30 pounds. This time around I was able to take a [RS bleep] that night and I lost 10 pounds. I also didn’t take anything stronger than Tylenol. My only gripe was not being able to go to the gym for three weeks. But whatever. The whole staff is amazing. My patient coordinator Steph [RS bleep] rocks. So thank you for everything!
Breast augmentation is something I looked into for a long time after breast feeding two children . Dr Reedy & the entire staff at berks plastic surgery are absolutely amazing I have recommended his office to several friends who also under went breast augmentation as well as mommy makeovers their as thrilled with their results as I am with mine ! The office is very clean all the girls are very kind & welcoming . Andrea & Maria were very helpful with any questions I had pre & post op !! Dr Reedy took his time helping me select the perfect implant, he’s very knowledgeable & kept me proportional I would chose berks plastic surgery 100 times over in all honesty it’s the best money I’ve ever spent I love what I see in bras & bathing suites finally !! He’s truly the breast master & im so thankful he turned my molehills into beautiful mountains !! #DrReedyGirl
Dr. Reedy & his whole team is INCREDIBLE! I was recommended here by a friend & I was not disappointed. I’ve wanted boobs for as long as I could remember. I was calling plastic surgeons at like 13 getting quotes so I knew a rough estimate of how much I would need to save for when I’m old enough hahaha. I knew I always wanted kids too so I figured I should wait till after that just so my results aren’t messed with after spending so much money. Once I turned 18 I had my first son, I LOVED how my boobs looked after I had him. But they deflated to pre pregnancy in no time. When I was 20 I got pregnant with twins & after having them, I again LOVED my boobs. But after them they deflated to basically nothing. I was SO unhappy with my chest. I used to be a 32B, but couldn’t even fill that out after I had them. So I’d say a 32A. My stomach now isn’t the same either, I have some saggy skin & stretch marks but I carried beautiful babies. That’s something I could live with. My small chest on the other hand was not. I already had some money saved up so I continued to save until I had enough. I called the office in I’d say March, while I was still 21. I wanted silicone so I had to wait till I was 22 unless I wanted to avoid the warranty which I did not want to do. They were so booked anyway that my consultation wasn’t until the end of May, which my birthday is the beginning of June, so it all worked out perfectly! Stephanie, one of the patient coordinators, was absolutely amazing. She gave me her honest opinion when it came to trying on the sizers & made me feel so good about it. I wanted to go pretty big, like 450cc, but being I am so petite & was basically flat chested, Dr. Reedy said there would be no way he’d be able to fit them in, while also having them look good, right away. I’d have to size up down the road if I decided I still wanted to be bigger after surgery. He told me if I wouldn’t be happy with the size he thinks he’s able to fit, then we shouldn’t follow through with the surgery since he didn’t want me spending all that money for nothing. He said he would fit what looks best for my body, so I trusted him. If that’s not a top notch surgeon I don’t know what is! He actually cares for his patients, genuinely. I got my BA July 8th & couldn’t be more in love with my new girls. I got 385cc, high profile, Natrelle Soft Touch! I’m 6 weeks post op & they look absolutely incredible, along with my incisions. I am now in a 32DD!!! I could fit in a 32D, but it’s very tight. Recovery was a breeze, even with 3 kiddos. I was back to lifting them & taking care of them about a week after surgery, I couldn’t believe it! From consultation to now, I couldn’t be any happier. Any time I had questions, I called & they reassured me with no problem. 11/10 recommend them to everyone! You will NOT be disappointed. Updated on 9 Mar 2023: Still super happy with my decision, but do wish they were bigger! I don’t have the money to get another surgery, which I’m totally okay with. Maybe down the road though if I still want them bigger I’ll go through with getting them done again! I’m happy enough with them to not be in a rush
Dr. Reedy and his staff were wonderful. When you attend your consultation, Dr. Reedy and his staff discuss your personal goals and make suggestions. You leave with a clear list of expectations and prices. As a mom of three kids, I was so I happy with my deflated chest. After my augmentation with Dr. Reedy I have NEVER been happier and I still can't believe it's MY chest when I look in the mirror. My procedure felt like a spa treatment, complete with a warm bed, gentle anesthesiologist, friendly nurses and of course Dr. Reedy. I was up the next day getting my kids ready for school and feeling so much better than I anticipated. I recommend Dr. Reedy to everyone.
I've wanted breast implants ever since I was 18 and realized that my breast size and shape wouldn't change much. I had very little volume in my lower pole and an overall pointy shape. I honestly have felt like a chubby boy my whole life and I've always desired a more feminine upper body. I started researching in June and had my first and only consultation with Dr. Reedy in September. I knew right away he was the surgeon for me. I felt so comfortable in his office and every person there from the receptionist to my coordinator Stephanie to the man himself made me feel 100% safe and comfortable. I had my surgery now 3 days so and I feel amazing. I barely have any pain now, just a little soreness. I can tell that after they drop and fluff they'll look perfect. I'm so happy I went with Dr. Reedy and I can't wait to see the final results in the coming months.
I had been contemplating a breast augmentation for over 5 years. I met with several doctors. I even met with Dr. Reedy 3 years ago. I re-met with Dr. Reedy this summer and just decided to book it. I was extremely nervous. I was very specific on going for a natural fuller look. I am 3 weeks post op and couldn’t be happier. I am still in shock and how tolerable the pain was, how gentle he was and his bedside manner as well as the entire staff being amazing! I am so excited to see them progress! I can’t believe I waited this long! Best decision I ever made!
My case is slightly different from many others I have read about here on Real Self. I downsized from 750CC HP sub-muscular implants to 445CC moderate profile implants (same placement, through same scars). My former implants were done by a different PS and although I was very satisfied with his expertise, I was very unhappy with the size of my implants. Therefore, when I decided to finally made the decision to move forward with this next surgery, I did over two years of research prior to selecting Dr. Reedy and did so for a variety of reasons. I can Say with full confidence that Dr. Reedy is hands down the most proficient surgeon I’ve encountered and the expertise of his surgery is outstanding. From the initial phone call to schedule my appointment—even during this time of COVID—to my initial consultation to my surgery yesterday, I was incredibly satisfied with every aspect of my interaction with Dr. Reedy and his entire team. I am less than 24 hours out from my implant revision surgery and can tell anyone reading this review that I have ZERO—ZERO pain. I am narcotic free due to the regiment that Dr. Reedy has meticulously laid out for his patients (pre-surgical combination of Celebrex and Gabapentin). His attending nurses, his attending Anesthesiologist and his discharge nurse were all unbelievably professional and efficient. I could rave on and on about my experience and will happily answer any questions anyone has and will happily act as a referral to Dr. Brian Reedy and Berks Plastic Surgery moving forward. And I will note that I drove from another state to have this surgery done (NJ). I could have easily gone to Board Certified PS in Philadelphia, Northern NJ and Manhattan but chose Dr. Reedy based on his expertise and his artistry.
Hi everyone! I’m so thankful for this community in helping me decide what is best and who to choose! I am a 33 year old mom of 2 boys, aged 4 and 2. I was a 34D before pregnancy and became a 34 DD when I was breastfeeding. Last year I dropped 26lbs of fat and began gaining muscle through heavy lifting at the gym. I also stopped breastfeeding well over a year ago. The combination of the two has left me with some very sad results. I realize that this surgery is such a huge cost and you shouldn’t just go with anyone. It’s kinda like dating. You want that person (surgeon) that’s going to make you feel beautiful inside and out and give you those warm and fuzzy feelings right from the start! For me that was Dr. Reedy! I’ve been looking to have my breasts done for over a year and half now and I’m so happy I can finally get them done. I’ve spoken with 4 different doctors, had a virtual consult, phone consult, and two in office consults. Out of all of those, Dr. Reedy gave me the utmost attention and respect and was so super confident in telling me what I was going to need to get my desired look. I wanted to get a couple inputs because I felt I was right in between the option of getting implant that would need a lift or not needing a lift. As much as I would love to not have to get a lift to avoid the scars, his explanation put me at ease and ultimately sealed the decision for me that a lift is what I needed. My skin is a bit thin and I workout with heavy weights doing deadlifts, squats, and sometimes working my chest! Dr. Reedy and most surgeons said that I will have to stop working the chest for now. I wanted to achieve a look that was close to my breastfeeding boobs so I wanted a DD size and we tried on 405cc and 445cc silicone implants. Dr. Reedy said I shouldn’t go any higher or it would put too much strain on my lift incision and stretch the skin more. My surgery is a little less than 2 months from today. That was his earliest when I saw him 2 days ago. I will have to get tested for covid right before the surgery and get some blood work done too. Overall, I am super happy with my decision to go with him even though he is over an hour away but I know I am in good hands! I will try to keep the RealSelf community updated with my process and hope everyone is staying safe! Updated on 21 Jul 2020: Here are some other before pics since my surgery is coming up in a couple weeks. A couple of bathing suit tops where I'm hoping they will definitely fill out. My pre-op is on Monday and I'm getting my Covid test done on that day too. Probably will still try and go with 445CC soft touch Mod+ natrelle silicone implants. Updated on 30 Jul 2020: Had my pre-op appt on Mon 7/27. It was a pretty long appt. Went over all the surgery details and how the day is going to go. All the meds I will need to take and final sizing details. I decided to go with the 445cc Natrelle Inspira soft touch implants. I hope they are a good size and not too big or too small! Updated on 4 Aug 2020: Just wanted to re-add some photos. These were taken with the implants from the office. Updated on 6 Aug 2020: I go in early for my appt. in about 4 hours. I am 8am, so I believe I am the first surgery of the day. I’ll try to remember to post after but if not then I’ll get post surgery pics after. But here’s a few more before bathing suit shots. Updated on 6 Aug 2020: Here is an after pic. Pain in the check and back area as expected. Did have to take some pain pills since I was in so much pain laying down that I couldn’t nap. But overall the pain manageable and I feel the next day will be a lot better. Updated on 7 Aug 2020: Feeling a lot better! Still tightness in the chest but my back is so much better. Been working on raising my arms and can raise them above my head! Slept pretty well last night. Had my neck pillow and 3 pillows used to prop myself up and it worked perfectly. Stuck with the meds schedule they gave me and it works great. Only had to take some Valium for the muscle spasms and pain but only two of those. I have my post-op appt today and I get to see them so I’ll update once that happens. Updated on 8 Aug 2020: Day 2 post surgery. I am doing very well. Lots of pain subsiding. Sleeping through the night with propped pillows and a neck pillow. Less pain in the arms but still can’t push myself up. Little shooting pains here and there on the breast but not too bad. I can shower today so that should be nice! Here are some pictures of what they look like with the tape and bandages which will be left on until my three week visit. I got 445 SSF Natrelle Implants and my goodness, they are a nice big size haha. Updated on 9 Aug 2020: Been doing ok pain wise. A lot less pain than the days before. I expect to be almost normal in two/three days. The only thing I’m not sure about the the look of my new boobs. Got some really bad bruising that showed up over night. Did a weird turn thing where I tried to reach a water bottle behind me and had some bad pain from twisting. So not sure if it’s from that or just normal bruising. Hope it gets better! Updated on 22 Aug 2020: I developed a little bit of an open wound. I’m not sure if it was too much too soon or from walking around but this one area always gave me trouble since day 1. It’s not painful but I am having to put some antibiotic ointment and change a bandaid on it twice a day till it heals. Pain is almost completely gone except, some restriction here and there from my chest and arms. Not on Tylenol anymore and I haven’t noticed much in change on if they dropped but the swelling has gone down significantly. Been wearing the compression bra religiously unless I’m airing out my sutures after a shower or washing the bra. Updated on 25 Sep 2020: Sorry I haven’t been updating as much. Personal life has been a bit crazy but my wound has all but cleared up. Just a small scab that should heal up in a week or two. Loving the results but also wishing I went a bit bigger lol. They are settling into a 34DDD(F) but they look smaller than I imagined. I feel I’ll like them more when they settle. Been doing the massages as best I can but I can’t seem to get them to come closer together. I know there is still more changing that has to happen so I’m not trying to be too critical! The left side is taking a bit longer to settle because of the wound, but I love how they look in shirts and the veins popping from them. I remember that look when I was pregnant and full of milk!
