Very happy with my breast augmentation results & level of care

I had a great experience with Dr. Rumer. I had issues on my end with virtual consultation but she made sure she got in touch with me and made it happen. Her staff- Dawn, Gina and herself were all very helpful. I called probably every week about something and they were so nice to me. If they didn’t answer, they hit back to me in an hour or the next afternoon. They went above and beyond for me. Fast forward to surgery time everyone in the hospital was assuring and helpful and made me feel safe. Very friendly environment. She was good with my follow ups and thorough. I’m happy with my results and level of care. I didn’t experience any pain while healing either. I’m considering Dr. Rumer for BBL next. Updated on 18 Apr 2022: Here’s more recent post op pictures from after they dropped snd fluffed! So if you have an anxiety that they look weird at first, give it time! It takes a couple-a few weeks to start dropping. A month or two to look normal.. and a couple months to complete their process. One might be a little higher than the other. One may look bigger than the other (probably swelling) but they’ll do what they’re supposed to. I’m very satisfied with my results. Updated on 23 Aug 2023: Over a year later. Everything is great. Very happy with results. Fluffing went well, scars are practically gone. Always complimented but men and woman lol. I very much appreciate the hard work of this staff and I actually sent for another procedure I’ll be posting soon! I wouldn’t change anything.

I had a great experience with Dr Kathy Rumer and Dr Hanna and the entire staff. I had my Gender Reassignment in June 9, 2021 and I'm almost a month post op, I am loving my results everything is on point, what a big changed of my life and I am so happy. I have been transitioning when I was 12 years old and now I am 38 years old. I know there's a lot of negative reviews about her but I am sorry to those who had bad results. On my experience and extensive research I really believe that most of the time it's not the surgeon's faults. I think there's a big part of the health history of person, anatomy, Genes, and of course how will they follow the instructions. When you are considering GRS/SRS you have to take your time and educate yourself throughly because this is a big major surgery and it carries a lot of risk.. I took a huge gamble and prayed for the best I am only a month post op but I am seeing good results already and still have a long way to go. I didn't have enough skin also but she was able to gave 5 inches depth and I am so happy.

Gender Incongruity

6 Months Post OP: Halfway Healed.

A year ago today I had my consultation for my GRS. I had my procedure done this past Jan. My surgeon did a good job. So far, so good. Tomorrow I will be 6 months post-op. I am pleased thus far. Because I am still healing, I will update this review regarding the aesthetics after a year. But So far so good :-) I still have a lot of healing to do and there is still swelling but I can see the way my body is changing shape and form in very good ways. I had my first clitoral orgasm around 3 and a half, almost four-months and now I can orgasm when I am in the mood without taking forever! When I first started exploring, it took longer to reach orgasm. It took practice and concentration. I had PIV sex twice at 5 months just see and explore the "mechanics" of PIV sex so to speak. I am now finally down to one dilation a day which is nothing compared to the first 3 months. I have also been dilating in various different positions. I have used Mr. Orange a few times, just to see if I could get him in which I did, with two dots showing. But Mr. Green is my favorite guy. I work out with him mostly. I get one dot showing with him. Halfway to the last dot. My goal is to only have to use one dilator regularly instead of two so now I am phasing out Mr. Blue. (I stopped using Purple during month 2ish. Mr. Organge is good for occasional use for me at this point but I like having him around. I am very excited to see how my body changes in the next 3-6 months. I had some granulation tissue at 6 weeks during my follow up visit, which was treated with no problems. I am really now starting to love and enjoy my vagina. The work I put in paid off and I will continue to love her and work her out. I am thankful and grateful for my new life. Thank you to everyone for posting your experiences, all of them have been helpful in some way. (what to do and what not to do :-)

Experience So Far

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr.Rumer and her staff. They have been patient and very helpful throughout my process thus far. I actually had to reschedule my surgery that was suppose to happen the latter part of 2018 due to my own personal issues. I have received my new date and I’m patiently waiting. Her office staff has been very understanding and worked out a plan with my insurance to have the procedure covered.

Dr. Cathy Rumer Rocks! Big Time!!!

Dr. Rumer freaking rocks! She did my original SRS, MtF. That surgery was flawless. Her protocol of surgical aftercare worked well for me. I enjoyed the morphine pump in the hospital for a few days, then the Rumer Inn for a few more. I even got hair implants and laser skin resurfacing while there; total spa affair! The beauty in Dr. Rumer is she honestly wants you to be happy. So after a few years, I become dissatisfied with the position of my clitoris, which btw, works very well, I have to say. After my consult with her, doc's staff proceeded to get out-of-network insurance authorization for my corrective surgery. Suffice it to say that upon seeing the results, I wanted to cry in joy which is why I'm writing this review at the risk of outing myself! The bottom line, waist no time consulting other docs. Go straight to Kathy Rumer. You'll be happy you did. For me, Doc has become a family friend I intend to have forever.

Transwoman breast augmentation with a wonderful experience. Five stars!

Dr. Rumer and her staff was great! I personally have been treated with the utmost professionalism and competent care. I'm just 7 weeks out and have more healing and dropping yet but my my result has been more than satisfactory to ME, and that's what this all about, achieving the patients REALISTIC expectation. By the way I had very little breast tissue to work with, and was overweight, I had to lose weight before getting a surgery date, but very worth it.

AMAZING WORK!

I would recommend Dr Rumer for anyone looking for Amazing results. I had double incision April 6 2017. Dr Rumer is a straight shooter there is no fluff in her professional opinion. She tells you as it is what she can do to help you achieve realistic results. I am Amazed at her work and how precise she was in contouring a masculine chest for me. I can speak on my experience which was great from start to finish.

35 Y/o, No Kids, Needed Belly Gone - Ardmore, PA

I'm 35, no kids, and after going through adderall withdrawal & depression / anti-depressants, I had a bit of a weight problem. Made the decision to finally do something about this and GET MY BODY BACK!!!! Step 1 was to get liposuction on the "spare tire". That was achieved on 3/3/15 with Dr Rumer in Ardmore, PA. She removed 5 litres from my belly, flanks, and back. So far, so good! Hurt like hell but I can already see a HUGE difference! Pics to come soon.

Vanquish Really is a Miracle! Much Better Than Cool Sculpting. Ardmore, PA

I am a 48 year old (young!!!) woman who has been trying to lose the extra inches I've put on since having two kids. It has been a real struggle! I went to a highly recommended surgeon and he suggested surgery. I am an attorney, working full time. The idea of surgery is not something I would consider right now. With two active kids, and a hectic, non-stop schedule, I simply do not have the time to do it and recover from it. Last year, I saw an ad some for something called cool sculpting. It seemed very appealing as it was not surgery and the patient photos I saw seemed amazing. I did the treatment. It was very painful!! And I spent the better part of the day there to do three small areas. Of course, doing this was much more appealing than surgery, even with the pain. The doctor said it would take 3 or 4 months to see the results. I waited and saw NOTHING. Of course, I went back. He said he would recommend another session as it often takes two times to get a result. After paying around $2400 I did not want to pay any more. If I saw something I may have considered it, but I saw nothing. Plus, at that cost why not actually have surgery. While on vacation, I was catching up on some TV. On The View I saw something new and really exciting. Whoopi Goldberg lost 5 inches on it and said it was her favorite treatment. She laid under the machine and said it was very comfortable, and basically melted your fat away. It seemed too good to be true, considering my experience thus far. I looked on the internet for Vanquish and found a doctor who had it. I did a little more research on it too. The ratings were very high on it from other Real Self users, and I saw a number of other TV programs that had it on too. As advertised, it was a very quick and comfortable experience. It was warm, and relaxing. Far from my previous experience where the machine felt like a vacuum sucking my fat and freezing me. Ugh! Never again! I did have to do 4 treatments, but I was in an out of the doctor's office in less than an hour so I was able to schedule them when I had some free time at work each week. The best part is that I actually lost 3.5 inches!!!! I saw it happen after each treatment too. This was by far the best and easiest treatment I could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

31 Years Old- Used Plastic Surgeon - Ardmore, PA

I've been wanting to get this surgery for years to improve the look and also because it became uncomfortable in yoga clothes . I was embarrassed when I would get intimate with a new guy and always wondered if it bothered them. So I did lots of research- online and had consultations with 3 different plastic surgeons-- and decided on a Dr in Ardmore, PA. I'm currently 3 weeks post-op and am very happy with the results so far. I think it is still a little swollen but it really doesn't bother me at this point. I was in pain the day of the surgery but other than that I didn't have much pain at all and never took any of the pain medication. However, I was really sensitive and swollen for the first week so I made sure to ice it as much as possible and keep it clean to use lots of antibiotic ointment. I still use the ointment daily and have not pushed myself too much besides regular daily walking. I wore a dress/skirt for the first week since pants bothered me and you want to give it a lot of air. It was uncomfortable to sit upright for the first 5 days or so but then it got a lot better. Some people suggest sitz/epsom salt baths but my Dr. didn't. I decided to take one to help me feel cleaner since it was tough to really clean it out since it was so sensitive. The hardest part at this point has been the fact that I can't workout until a month post-op and I'm used to working out almost every day. The one thing I'm a little concerned about is the hood area around the clitoris. It seems like something is off with how it was stitched up around there but I am trying to be patient to wait for the month check up to see how it heals. Everyday it gets better and I've found that you have to become very comfortable with getting a mirror and checking it out daily to make sure it's healing correctly. Overall, I'm really happy with my decision to get the surgery and look forward to seeing the final result when it fully heals. I decided to leave a review since this site was really helpful for me when I was researching so hopefully this will help someone as well since my experience was, fortunately, fairly pain free.
