I am over the moon with how they look

I truly don’t even know where to begin. I am 27 years old, have never had kids, just bad genetics. My breasts were always saggy from around the age of 15 and just got worse over the years. I always knew I wanted a breast lift but was afraid to pull the trigger. I started to really struggle because I have to wear a bra, yet every piece of clothing nowadays is not bra-friendly, and I want to wear cute tops or dresses. So, I finally decided to talk to a surgeon to see my options. About 2 years ago, I went to speak with a first surgeon, Evan Sorokin, MD, at Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery. He completely discouraged me from having a breast lift and told me he would not perform the surgery unless I agreed to add implants. I told him I did not want implants because that was not the look I wanted; I just truly wanted a lift and to wear things without a bra sometimes. I am sure he is a good surgeon, but I felt he took advantage of me since I was young and tried to push me to add implants so he could make more money. I felt that he was rushing me out the door. He wanted to charge me $25,000 for the lift and implants, and when I said no to implants, he did not want to do it. This left me very upset and unmotivated to pursue a breast lift. I continued to struggle with finding the right tops and bikini tops and was truly upset because there were so many things I could not wear. I thought having breast surgery was not in the cards for me. Fast forward to this past June, when I went out to dinner with some friends in NYC. One of my friends brought a friend whose breasts looked amazing, ( she had implants) so I complimented her. She thanked me and told me she actually had her procedure with Dr. Adrian Lo. I told her about my experience wanting a breast lift and how the surgeon I spoke to had discouraged me. She said Dr. Adrian Lo is a well-known surgeon and spoke highly of him, suggesting I should consider a consultation with him. I truly believe going to this dinner was a blessing because, without it, I would have never known about Dr. Adrian Lo. I had only heard of him through word of mouth. I decided to open up this can of worms again and see what his thoughts were on my breasts. I quickly made an appointment for a consultation. From the moment I walked into Dr. Lo’s office in Marlton, everyone was so much friendlier, and the atmosphere was amazing. When Dr. Adrian Lo saw my breasts, he completely understood my struggle and took his time explaining what he would do for me. He was thorough during the consultation and also during the pre-op appointment. I did extensive research on Dr. Adrian Lo and saw nothing but good things. I truly trusted Dr. Adrian Lo but was only a little worried at first because, on his website, I only saw one photo of a breast lift he had done, and everything posted about him on RealSelf was a breast lift plus implants. So, I didn’t know what to expect. But I knew I was in good hands, which is why I’m making this post to show his results with just a lift, without implants, to help anyone who has the same struggle as I did. On the day of surgery, what surprised me the most was that, despite Dr. Adrian Lo seeing so many people and performing so many surgeries, I figured I was just another number to him. But that was not the case at all. He remembered me, and you could tell he cares deeply for his patients and his work. The nurses and staff at Penn were so nice to me. I was friendly and talked to the nurses, but when I got into the OR room, my demeanor changed because seeing the surgical utensils, the bed, and the big lights really scared me. I had never had surgery before. I felt that the nurses could tell I was scared, and they supported me and tried to distract me. I could be wrong, but there was another surgeon in the OR room who assisted Dr. Adrian Lo. He was a tall large male but was so sweet, telling me not to worry and that this would only take an hour. Just like that, I was out like a light. I know I will see Dr. Adrian Lo again at my post-op appointment, but I hope to see the other guy who was in the OR room because I would like to thank him. When I woke up, I just had a minor burning sensation but mainly felt sick from the anesthesia. A few hours after I got home, Dr. Adrian Lo called me personally to check in on me. It wasn’t just a quick call; he truly took his time talking to me and asked me a few questions to make sure I was okay. This meant so much to me. I am 3 days post-op, and these are my results before and after. I get my drains out and take these bandages off on Wednesday. But I am over the moon with how they look. My breasts before took over my entire body, and now I can finally see my stomach! Dr. Adrian Lo is truly an incredible surgeon, and I recommend him. Every time I see my breasts, I actually tear up with joy because I just can’t believe it. I wish I had met Dr. Lo sooner. Thank you, Dr. Adrian Lo. You truly changed my life. Not only did you transform my breasts for the better, but you also helped me quit my nasty nicotine addiction (nicotine causes serious complications, and Dr.Lo made this very clear; I care about my body and did not want to risk my nipples falling off lol, so I quickly quit and do not see myself going back to smoking). So thank you, Dr. Lo, for everything. I will keep you guys posted throughout my recovery journey. But please go to Dr. Adrian Lo for your surgeries; he is truly the best of the best. Thank you, Dr. Adrian Lo; I don’t even think thanking you is enough for how much you have changed my life.

Transgender Breast Augmentation - Very Pleased

I was a transgender patient in Philadelphia seeking breast augmentation surgery. An acquaintance recommended Dr. Lo to me for the procedure, and I'm glad I went with him. I decided to go through with the surgery with Lo as, by default, he uses all of the techniques & implant types I'd previously researched as being the best options- an armpit incision + sub-muscular placement, with smooth, round, silicone implants. I asked for a look that was 'full, but natural', & am very happy with the outcome. Recovery from the procedure was easy, and I was back to my normal routine within a couple days. There was more 'discomfort' than 'pain,' with the main annoyance post-op just being a short-lived scratchy throat from intubation. For a while there was a sense of 'heavy pressure' on my chest that went away in a week or two, and a month after the procedure only some mild irritation remains as my body adjusts to the prosthetics. Dr. Lo's medical & care staff are all wonderful, as well as all of the staff at the quiet & cozy Vincera Institute surgery center he works out of. Sales staff are sales staff, so just be aware of this when making decisions on booking an intake appointment & making a deposit. Dr. Lo himself has a great sense of humor, was able to answer any questions I had and did a good job of fully overviewing the procedure & his approach. He has a good eye for aesthetics, as evidenced by my outcome. Do be aware that Dr. Lo does not take insurance, and if you have out-of-network coverage, Dr. Lo's office will not work with an insurer directly for securing prior authorization or submitting a claim. I was instead able to secure prior auth via my primary care provider at Mazzoni Center, and Lo's office gave me the tax number necessary to submit my own claim with the bill I was provided. I am very happy with my outcome and do recommend Dr. Lo to prospective breast augmentation patients looking for somebody local who will do the best work.

3 months post-op gynecomastia surgery - improvement after swelling went down

I feel like it's cliche to say "I wish I'd seen him sooner," but that's the truth. Finances were the big thing keeping me back (all in all it was around 6k). Dr. Lo and his staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I didn't feel any judgement and Dr. Lo and his team created an atmosphere of "it's no big deal." I say this in a positive way—having lived with man titties my whole life (and having been made fun of ALOT in grade school), it was just this THING hanging over my head (and I guess off my chest, too). I had built it up for 30 years, but the good Doc and his staff assuaged any anxiety, guilt, and apprehension I had. The day of the surgery went really well. His PA-C, Lilltih Taylor, was super kind and reassuring. Her chat with me put me at ease (whereas I was kind of nervous sitting there in my gown shivering) and made me feel like, "yes, this is going to be ok." Dr. Lo came in to draw on me and he was super chill. His laidback demeanor and confidence calmed me as well—I knew I was in good hands.I was able to have my tubes removed after 2 days (so, on day 3—day 1 being the surgery). And HOLY HELL what a difference that made! I was walking around downtown like a new man while wearing a new compression vest (provided by the office). I have never felt so light and free. I legit wanted to cry. I didn't though, cause I was now a titless man with nothing to cry about thanks to Dr. Lo.I'm writing this review just shy of 3 months after surgery. Depending on the source, they say it may take up to 6 months—year for the full effects to be realized. I have only seen improvements after the swelling went down and I was able to regain a full range of motion and begin exercising again. Obviously, genetics play an important role, but look out Hemsworth—my pecs are coming for you.***Day 1-3: sore. limited movement. drainage not too bad. no shower.Day 3-7: tubes/drains removed. massive improvement in comfort. (drain removal stings, but it's real quick and then goes away. if you have a tattoo it's not a dissimilar feeling—just a touch more intense). Week 2/3: range of motion increased. switched to under armour/amazon basics compression shirts. UA shirts were little too tight imo. walking around like a new man.Week 4-12: what surgery? what boobs? if it wasn't for the numbess in the nipple and chest area, I wouldn't even know I had surgery. the numbness is improving and it is my understanding that it may take 6 months or so to go away. But, so what if I can't feel my nips. You know what else I can't feel anymore? The shame of [RS bleep] tits.

Wish I Had Seen Him Sooner!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lo and his team. I feel extremely fortunate to have come across his website and given the opportunity to have him work on an issue that has made me self conscience for years. Good things come to those who wait. Dr. Lo is a straight-shooter, he tells it like it is and not what he thinks you want to hear. It is refreshing, they have nothing but your best interest at heart. I knew after one visit that I was going to cancel my other consultation with another doctor and book with Dr. Lo. From the front desk to the nurses, they make you feel like family. His PA (lily?) is so lovely and makes you feel so comfortable, I cannot stress how important that is. The whole experience was seamless and I really feel lucky to have been in their hands. I can only hope that when I am old and sagging that he is still doing surgery! I am a lifer! Beware: He is an Eagles fan, which means he has fantastic taste and works well under stress/extreme pressure.

I am very glad I did it

Dr. Lo’s staff is friendly and very helpful. The process was transparent and accommodating. Dr. Lo performed great work and I am so glad that I elected for the surgery despite some early nerves and reservations.Every question and concern I had was quickly answered as the entire prep process was comprehensive and easy. The initial visits were simple and straightforward, giving you easy opportunity to ask every question you might have. After the surgery, I was slightly sore and tired but felt surprisingly good. Within 2 days, I felt almost 85-90%. The only thing that was annoying were the surgical drains. Although not painful, it was frustrating to have them in. You simply cannot forget about them. Going in to get them removed can seem intimidating but it was truly about 15 seconds of uncomfort, similar to someone pinching you. After they were removed, I often forgot about the surgery. The wraps and compression were comfortable and only contact with the scars reminded me of the surgery. Soreness was minor and was completely cleared up within a week. All in all, I am very glad I did it. If you deal with 48 hours of the surgical drains, you will be very glad you did.

SURGERY DAY SET FOR BREAST LIFT WITH IMPLANTS!

So like most of the women on this site I had perky boobs until I finished breast feeding two children. The fact that my droopy breast restricts me from wearing spaghetti straps or bare back dresses has always bothered me and gave me some insecurities. I have finally decided to do something about it. Attached is my before pictures. I am scheduled with Dr. Adrian Lo for new boobies. everyone at th office from the PA Melissa to the surgery coordinator Jaime has been nice. Here are my before pictures. I I’ll be posting after pictures. I am really scared as I have never had any surgery before. Pray for me and wish me luck! Updated on 16 Jul 2019: I had my breast lift with implants today. My fiancé took me and ha been waiting on me hand and foot, feeling lucky. My nerves were shot by the time it was ready to head to the OR but everyone was great! Back home safely the GRACE OF GOD. The anesthesiologists came to see me to insert my IV, he even used lidocaine so I wouldn’t feel any pain. DR LO and Melissa his PA also came to see me in pre-op area and went over the plan and also reassured me everything was going to be fine. The nurse anesthetist who came and took me to the OR was talking to me why there were preparing me for surgery and it was the last thing I remember until I woke up Home now and dozing on and off. I have only taken Tylenol extra strength so far and my pain is manageable. See post op pic. More updates to come on my progress. For anyone reading this and about to get your twins done and have never had any surgery, it is not as scary as I imagined it would be. Updated on 17 Jul 2019: Just took off my ace wrap and surgical bra. So far the pain is not that bad. Boobs are still high up, but I think I like it so far. Updated on 28 Jul 2019: Have been thinking about doing this breast lift forever after feeding two children who left me with droopy sets of twins. After having four consults I decided to go with Dr. Lo. Everything went really fast. I had my consultation on 7/8 and surgery on 7/16. We decided on 350 cc hp saline implants with mastopexy for upper pole fullness. Surgery days was a breeze. I was out in no time and woke in mild pain. Discharged home on pain meds and scopolamine patch behind my ears to prevent nausea. Loving the twins so far but I still have a long way to go Updated on 31 Jul 2019: Still looking like torpedoes. Still have lots of healing to do Updated on 31 Jul 2019: Can’t wait for these to drop Updated on 31 Jul 2019: Dr. LO hs personally seen and examined my breast and incisions and both of my 2 post op appointments. I have been released to wear any bra I want but I am not going to wear under wire bra yet. More pics from POD 15 Updated on 10 Sep 2019: So everything was going well until POD 13!!! Found wound under both breast at T junction which was a bummer :(. My PS advised dressing with bacitracin twice a day covered with 4x4. I opted to buy triple antibiotics instead and as the weeks progressed the wound got worse. I reached out to my contact at my PS office again as my wound bed now had yellow slough which scared me due o the potential of tunneling. I was advised to do wet to dry dressing and wear a supportive bra with straps to help lift he weight off the T junction. However, after all that my wounds were not getting any better!!! So PS said stop wet to dry and just clean wounds, apply topical antibiotics and cover with gauze. At this point I decided to change the antibiotics to Neosporin. I started seeing improvements slow but it was noticeable. Thank God, by the 7th week both wounds healed and closed!!!! Please see attached pics. I hope this helps someone Updated on 10 Sep 2019: More pictures after wound healed Updated on 13 Feb 2022: So just my luck, my right saline implant ruptured within a year! I noticed that my right breast got smaller and lost the upper pole fullness. I was pretty unhappy with it because it was very obvious in clothing even though my breast did not get deflated. O I schedule an appointment with my PS nd found out my right implant was ruptured. I was very disappointed and wasn’t sure what to do at first but decided to swap them for mentor memory gel. Thank goodness I purchased the enhanced mentor warranty. Fast forward implants have been replaced. Will post pics later Updated on 4 Mar 2022: Updated on 4 Mar 2022: It’s been a roller coaster. But what I have learned in is process is hat breast lift with implants done at the same time comes with a high probability of a revision… I love my new silicone feel….and h improved life and scare revision Updated on 4 Mar 2022: Loving it so far!! Wish me luck

Love the Doctor and His Peeps

I love Dr. Lo and every one of his people. A week in, 700 cc HP, they are already awesome and my life has already changed. Amazing. And recovery has been great (armpit incision.)
