In my personal experience with Dr.Godwin I will say it's been nothing short of perfect experiences over the last 7yrs. I've had 2 plastic surgeries he performed by Dr.Godwin and Botox and Filler done by him. In 2017 he replaced my 14y old implants "Mentor 350cc low profile" with "Mentor 455cc Ultra High Profile" with a fantastic result. My 2nd one was done in his beautiful surgery suite to correct my left breast because I have always struggled with bottoming out which isnt the drs fault at all. That went perfectly as well. Dr.Godwin was also the 1st Doctor to administer Botox and Filler on me. I really can't emphasize how TALENTED this man is as well as him being SO KIND, UNDERSTANDING, GENTLE and DEFINITELY a PERFECTIONIST no matter what he is doing! I absolutely love that Dr.Godwin is 100% open and honest/transparent with me when it comes to Botox + Filler and lliterally anything and everything else and I trust what he suggests. ??WHAT DR.GODWIN ISN'T?? Dr.Godwin IS NOT the plastic surgeon that will try to upsell you on your surgery and/or try to add on unnecessary procedures when it's not needed and potentially dangerous for the patient. He WILL answer all of your questions and if you do happen to have a question on a different surgery and his thought he will be 100% open and honest on that. I have found there are way too many plastic surgeons that will add on or upsell you on your surgery and/or will tell you that if you get a tummy tuck then you need to get XYandZ done as well even if it's not needed! Dr Godwin is a Godsend He understood the assignment. I recently got mommy makeover after losing 75 pounds naturally. I’m 52 years old so even with the amount of exercise that I do. I could not get rid of the sagging Brest, stomach, & butt. That I had due to losing so much weight within a year, Dr Godwin recommend a lower body lift aka circumferential tummy tuck, muscle repair and a Brest lift. I have to say when I came for the consultation, I knew I had found my surgeon. The staff was both friendly and professional they took time to addressed all of my concerns. Dr Godwin seemed very knowledgeable about the body’s reaction to losing so much weight and assured me I would have great results. He was right I’m now 3 1/2 weeks post op and loving my new teenage looking body! My Brest look great so far very perky and firm they actually fill like Brest now instead of another flap of skin . My tummy tuck looks amazing even though I’m still swollen and my scar is extremely low and thin I couldn’t ask for a more perfectly placed scar, and it’s still new. My tummy is flatter than It’s ever been In my adult life. He also didn’t talk me in to getting my case unnecessary procedures like lipo. So for that reason and so many others I highly recommend Dr Godwin Plastic Surgery you can’t go wrong.

I had an ugly scar and this doctor did a great job removing it. He told me there would be a line scar in replace of it but it is barely noticeable. He's also much more affordable than the quotes I got from other doctors. Here in nyc I was quoted $3500-$5000. So I traveled out there & him and his staff are very friendly. He was also available 24/7 via phone after the procedure was done. Highly recommended. Especially since keloid scars can be tricky for people of color.

Dr. Godwin is amazing. I am 5 weeks post op from TT, MR, and Lipo of Flanks. My results are amazing and you can barely see the scar. I am happy with my body for the first time in a along time. I am 3 weeks post liposuction 360, and I really can’t believe the results already. I had a horrific side effect from a non-invasive procedure that left me with large lumps that could only be fixed with liposuction. I spent the last 2+ years crying when I would have to pick out outfits and try on clothes. I looked so lumpy and it couldn’t be hidden and I was so embarrassed to wear anything besides big baggy sweatshirts. I wanted to improve my appearance, but instead I looked disfigured. I decided to get the corrective lipo last summer. While the surgeon was highly recommended and well known, the surgeon was also SUPER conservative and left me looking exactly the same a year later while still weighing the same weight. The the lipo that I thought would “fix” me didn’t make a difference after so much pain, downtime and money. I was so disappointed. I thought there was something wrong with me, that lipo just didn’t work for me, or I was just unlucky. Fortunately this summer, one year after the first lipo, I had had enough of feeling so down on myself and I decided to have a consult with Dr. Godwin for a second opinion. THANK GOODNESS!!! I can't say enough about Dr. Godwin and the entire staff at his office. I received smart lipo and the results are so amazing. My recovery took a little longer than usual. I had a severe case of Edema, which is very uncommon. Dr. Godwin was so amazing and attentive. Saw me multiple times even came in on his day off to make sure I was being taken care of. His "office" other half Alicia made me feel so comfortable every time I came in. I am a person who can be a little shy and that quickly went away because I felt like I was with a friend. Dr. Godwin gave me one syringe of juvederm in each cheek, to science a fuller, more contoured, and youthful appearance. I was hesitant but followed his recommendations bf he contoured my cheeks beautifully.... everything looks natural and just so good! He is a true artist and has an amazing eye.
