5 out of 5 stars Breast Augmentation

29, 3 Kids, Athletic, 5'8, 155lbs

I cannot say enough how wonderful Dr. Zickler is. He is truly fantastic. When I first met him I brought my youngest child, a toddler, with me and Dr. Zickler was so patient with him. He made sure to answer all of my questions, he looked me right in the eyes as he spoke with me, and reassured me of any concerns I had. He looked at the "wish" photos I had shown him, and told me what was, and was not possible, based on my current anatomy (wide set breasts, wide rib cage, etc). But he took a lot of time to show me what he COULD do and I was very satisfied with everything we discussed. Surgery went off without a hitch, and I've had two follow up appointments already. Both he and I are very pleased with the results. He said my breasts are only going to get better and better, and I can't wait! He is an amazing surgeon, worth every single penny! I'm so thankful I chose him!

3 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck

40 Years Old ~ Tummy Tuck W/ Muscle Repair~Kingsport TN

Having been a former patient of this office with a different doctor I knew what to expect with the staff. Extremely nice and helpful. I honestly can't say enough about them. Dr Zickler was very pleasant and fully explained the procedure to me. He answered all of my questions completely and thoroughly. I feel very comfortable with him in doing my surgery. I will add that I wish he had been more forthcoming with is actual date of when the practice was going to close. He always mentioned Labor Day so I thought I had till then. I personally don't think that giving a patient 5 weeks to recover from a tummy tuck is enough time let alone if that patient has any complications. If I had known that the time was going to be cut this close I might have made a different decision. Janet, his nurse, is just unbelievable. The most kindest soul; I truly will miss seeing her. Dr discharged me 4 weeks 1 day from my surgery. No offer to transfer me to another dr. I was given his cell phone number to text him pictures of my BB if I had issues. Wow!!!

Not Quite a Breast Revision but Kind Of! I Mean, I Am Changing my Breasts...BACK TO NATURAL! - Bristol, TN

wonderful and attentive to say the least! Staff amazing, friendly and so kind. I had to bring my son and they took such good care of my little boy while I went in. Wait time was not long at all , yet I was never rushed and Dr. ZIckler was very thorough in answering my questions, explaining and making sure I had asked everything and was well-informed. Dr. Zickler made me feel comfortable and in control of my decision without pushing anything on me yet he still told me that he could fix the left breast if it was just merely the scar tissue (CC) influencing my decision (it's mild but noticeable) . HE pushed no other services on me nor was he negative or discouraging about my decision and didn't use scare tactics like I had gotten in the past from other doctors! He also said something profound that stuck with me " we as doctors don't question why woman want them in, so I don't need to question why you want them out" I thought that was pretty awesome! I felt he gave me the most of his time and I wasn't even in there to spend thousands on a bunch of procedures. He is wonderful and I am so happy I found someone that can help me finally, I have been suffering and all because I do not have thousands to spend. HE is charging a very reasonable and fair price considering what so many doctors are now charging . I would rather not put my price out there, we all have different implants/situations and what not- so your price may be different but I can tell you he is extremely reasonable and affordable, I consider him rather generous in the fact that so many are charging thousands for merely deflating, removing and stitching up. YOU have to ask questions and know exactly what your doctor is going to do. EX: another doctor (NOT dr. zickler ) I called the receptionist said they do it in 2 parts over 2 weeks -charge 3k ok, first they rupture and deflate. Then the next week they remove. 1. I would not want 15 year old ANYTHING running through my body. OK some DOCTORS SAY "EHhhhhh it's safe, it's sterile saline" UHM OK, ask them if they would drink a 15 year old sprite or coke??? OK THIS FLUID NO MATTER HOW STERILE they may feel , think or know has sat inside a silicone shell for 15 years. I WILL PASS On letting it run through my body thanks! 2. DO YOU think they deflate so that you may change your mind and purchase new implants from them or is it really to create some sort of advanced healing of pockets? I have no idea, why do they deflate and leave in a week? I am curious. Does it take a full week to drain? WELL, FOR ME, NAHHHH sounds like it could create more problems with bacteria and such and I am not a big fan of the deflate and leave in for a week protocol. NOPE. I am not. Moving on and back to the doctor I choose, Dr. ZIckler... Can he do "en bloc" remove capsule, yes. and he made it perfectly clear why then you are paying thousands (OF course, I understand they also have to rent the facility they perform surgery in, anesthesiologist, nurses, not to mention the procedure takes hour more risky, etc ) He informed me of this and it's truth. AGAIN, an honest doctor. But he made me feel like doing the simple removal first was not the worst idea! That it could still grant me some relief. Those of us know with pain , any relief is acceptable when you are suffering! Anyhow, It is best to always discuss your options with him and what YOU want and he will give you suggestions on what HE thinks is best for your particular concerns. That is why I say, it is best to just discuss with the surgeon. IF I had a little more money to work with , I would go with en bloc to ensure all this is OUT one time, but my situation is unique and I am in a lot of pain and desperate to get help yet not go to some botched place. He also told me I can still have scar tissue removed after the fact which made me more comfortable just explanting for now and in other words, IF he just saved me thousands because "I JUST" needed the implants out for relief, I need to send this doctor a really nice office Christmas gift too :D He did make me well aware that I may still have pain, he can't guarantee it will fix the pain/issues that the scar tissue capsule can still cause pain, etc BUT many woman can get relief just getting the weight of implants off their neck if they are large *I am 450ccs** I have sat on my bed crying in February because I didn't have the money to just get out and was so very sick and in so much pain and this has been going on for years so it was getting frustrated. SO desperate I was ready to beg my Veterinarian (JUST KIDDING HA HA) But seriously, I was even contemplating begging the university to use me as a guinea pig for class demonstration or something. NOT joking there, I was just desperate to get mine out. HE even expressed concern for my distance so that if there was any problems I could be quick and comfortable getting back to his office (swelling, infection, anything possible but not likely/common..YOU know) so that was pretty nice too. I am only 2.5 hrs away but still addressed that and made me clear of that which made me decide to just stay overnight. Again, I WAS not the patient coming in there to spend thousands. He has my vote and if I could give more stars I would give 10! :) So , needless to say, I am very grateful for Dr. ZIckler right now.

Getting Implants Removed After 7 Years! - Bristol, TN

So I got my implants about 7 years ago. It was 3 months after I had my baby girl which was the first mistake. I was still about 20 pounds heavier than I like, but I guess I assumed I would stay that big. However I finally got the motivation to lose the weight and ever since my boobs have looked ridiculous on me. I was a 34B before and told the doc I wanted to be a nice, full C. I took his...
