Dr. Austin & his team were amazing! They are professional, but also personable, so you feel very comfortable. They explained everything prior to my augmentation very clearly so that I didn't have any worries or questions. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I had a bilateral mastectomy, and Dr. Austin handled the reconstruction portion of my treatment. Every aspect of the care I have received from Dr. Austin has been exemplary including his surgical expertise, patience, sincerity, wisdom, and generosity. Dr. Austin is an excellent communicator and clearly explained each portion of the process to my husband and me. He is also a true master of his specialty, garnering results that exceeded my expectations. Dr. Austin's office is calm, organized, and efficient. His staff is as friendly, kind and customer-service oriented as Dr. Austin, a high standard, for sure. The faith we have in Dr. Austin has given us peace during a turbulent time, and so we are grateful to him for his significant part in my recovery.

This review is 100% plus the truth based on my experience with surgery and follow-ups performed by Dr. Austin. This man is an incredible Plastic Surgeon and Physician who makes you feel comfortable and truly cares for his patients. I had some complications from a Surgeon that performed a Tummy Tuck on me six years prior. Due to these complications I was left with an UGLY scar that had left big pit holes in my tummy from having to pack my incision for six months after surgery due to an infection. Now six years later these ugly pit holes led to more complications for me that created a Cyst and Abscess to form in my tummy. The Cyst filled up and I had to take antibiotics for months to make it shrink but as my doctor said if it is not removed it will just fill up again. Something had to be done. I searched the internet until I came up with high reviews on a Plastic Surgeon. I met with Dr. Austin to see if he could perform my medical needs by removing the Cyst. He could. Why did I go to him? I wanted someone who could treat me and have the knowledge about the surgery that was performed on me before. I knew he had the skills to remove the Cyst and also make my scar look more presentable. The man was a God send. He performed the surgery, removed my Cyst, removed all old stitches that would create more Abscess and made my old incision look beautiful. I am not a young chick. The medical procedure he did on me was outstanding! I can look in the mirror now and be happy at what I see and not be shy by covering up around my husband. If you need a Plastic Surgeon you need to look no further. Dr. Austin is the man for you. You will be so pleased with the outcome! kb

I was motivated to have a breast reduction because of extreme back, shoulder, and chest discomfort, let alone feeling awkward in public. After extensive research and referrals from my primary care physician and a retired Mayo Clinic Plastic Surgeon, all let to Dr. Austin as the best. Dr. Austin is an artist who takes pride in the final outcome. I would highly recommend his professional service to anyone seeing reconstructive or cosmetic surgery. I was a small 63 year old woman with extremely large DDD, backbreaking, shoulder aching, and saggy breasts. It was difficult to walk, jog, run, or do anything recreational, or work out even with special support. Now, after Dr. Austin's efforts, the discomforts of the past have been erased. I now have smaller perkier breasts that I don't even need to wear a bra if I don't want to.

He was very patient, thorough and extremely kind. I was so anxious at the time and he always made me feel like I was his most important patient, answering all of my questions. When my nurses found out that Dr Austin had performed my reconstruction, they all said they would chose him as well, because he has an excellent reputation and his work is the best. My results are more than I could have hoped for, in fact my oncologist told me it was the best reconstruction he had ever seen.
