Procedures I'm known for

Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Loose skin, sagging breasts, stubborn fat, and lax stomach muscles can all be caused by pregnancy and breastfeeding, and unfortunately, no amount of diet and exercise can lessen the toll they take on your silhouette. A mommy makeover can surgically correct these concerns, which is why it’s a favorite procedure of my Portland-area patients. Mommy makeover surgery includes several procedures performed in the same day, resulting in a dramatic transformation and curtailed recovery period. At Burgess Plastic Surgery, I frequently combine a breast augmentation or lift (with or without implants), a tummy tuck, and liposuction or VASER lipo to achieve the body sculpting outcomes my patients desire. During a tummy tuck, I tighten the stomach muscles while removing excess skin to improve core strength while creating a contoured look. Liposuction eliminates excess fat, while breast enhancement restores the breasts to their pre-motherhood state—or even better.
Breast Surgery
When consulting with those who are interested in breast enhancement, I spend a great deal of time to understand how their aesthetic goals—especially as they pertain to breast implant surgery—could affect their lifestyle. Many of my patients are very active and physically fit. It’s important to carefully choose breast implant size based on how you live your life. Choosing the best size the first time is key! It’s important to select a size that’s big enough for a lovely enhancement but also not too big so that it interferes. Choosing the best size the first time is key! Our revision rate is very low because, with our guidance, patients choose a beautiful enhanced size the first time around. Beyond performing breast augmentations, I’m also known for breast reductions, as well as breast lifts, which help address the sagging caused by time, weight fluctuations, or pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Abdominoplasty
There are plenty of reasons why my patients consider abdominoplasty. Most frequently, it’s due to weight loss or pregnancy. After losing a considerable amount of weight—or having your stomach stretched by multiple children—the abdominal muscles and overlying skin can struggle to return to their once-taut state. That’s where I come in: At Burgess Plastic Surgery, I offer full tummy tuck surgery, as well as mini tummy tucks, to help improve the look of the abdominal area. If desired, I can combine a tummy tuck with liposuction for a fully sculpted, contoured appearance. I look forward to discussing your aesthetic goals for your tummy tuck during your consultation at my Lake Oswego practice.
