I have used Dr Rak for various procedures throughout the last 10 years. I am extremely impressed by his skill level, intelligence, friendly demure as well as his staff. I’ve never had anything but excellent results. If I have a question after a procedure, I am able to text him and send him pictures on his personal cell and he has responded immediately. His nurse and staff are GREAT! Very very friendly and helpful. I have never had issues making an appointment and if I had real concerns about something, I could almost always be fit in with his busy schedule or seen the following day. His office and all of the procedure rooms are immaculate and super clean. His pricing is very fair especially for the Springfield area plus he does accept health insurance. Be forewarned however….Dr Rak is VERY intelligent and uses alot of medical words that some may not be familiar with. I am in the medical field so I totally understand what he is saying and really enjoy our conversations. Some may feel intimidated by it. Dr Rak is very kind and patient so just ask him to explain what he is talking about in “real world, non-medical terminology.” He will not have a problem rephrasing what he’s talking about. Overall, I highly recommend Dr Rak without a doubt. I have even sent my daughter to see him a few times. You won’t go wrong. Have your questions ready up front, be prepared for honest answers (you may not like what he says but I prefer honesty if something isn’t right for me), and he won’t try to high pressure you into something just to make that extra buck. He cares about YOU over those $$$$ signs. If you live in this area or the surrounding area, don’t make that long drive to the “big city” just because Dr Rak is in Springfield. You will be very happy with this doctor and his staff and be pleasantly surprised at his pricing compared to the “big city” prices those doctors charge. Most of those doctors are like “wham bam thank you ma’am” and move on to their next patient.

I have had ugly back fat my entire life! I saw a SonoBello commercial and decided to give it a try. I went to the new office located in Westerville, Ohio. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Rak told me exactly what I should expect. He truly did not try to sugar coat what my results would be. I decided to have the Tumescent Lipo on my back, waist, upper and lower abs since they had a buy 3 get 1 free special. I don’t remember anything about what happened during the procedure. As a matter of fact, I don’t remember much of anything from that day because I was so out of it! But I can say, the pain was very tolerable and I am healing very well. I am also doing low carbs/high protein which I started on the 9th day after my procedure. So far, I am very pleased and I cannot wait to see my final results!! Updated on 16 Mar 2018: I was 213lbs the day of my surgery and the week after, I was 219 due to swelling. As of of today I am at 204 lbs and down a dress size! I can definitely see a difference when I look in the mirror. Even though I still have swelling and plenty of back fat left, you cannot see it through my clothes like before. I've had botox over the years and much prefer Dysport. It works faster and lasts longer PLUS less expensive. I have recommended it to many women and even my guy!! So if you are curious go for it. You will love it. For my preferences I like it between the eyes, above the eyebrows (makes me look like I have eyes again) and a bit across my forehead and especially the "bunny lines" by the nose. Do it!

I went to Dr.Rak for a mommy makeover, huge mistake! I did all my research for months and felt good about choosing him as my surgeon until the healing began and nothing was looking like I had expected, I didn’t expect to look like a super model, I just wanted to not hate my body and be comfortable in my own skin. When I would try and ask questions he would just talk fast, was not helpful or understanding and leave me confused and more depressed. The worst part is when you pay someone a lot of money for cosmetics you don’t feel like you can cry to friends or family because you feel like you did it to yourself, so you cry and suffer in silence. Instead of feeling good about myself for once in my life I’m left more disgusted than ever before! He is too arrogant and conceited to admit he did a bad job and fix it so I would never recommend him to anyone and it’s a shame you have to give at least one star to leave a review.

Dr Rak may be good at what he does, but his bedside manner is horrible. He’s very arrogant, and cocky. I had an umbilical hernia, & my general surgeon sent me to Dr Rak for a consult to have him perform a tummy tuck along side the general surgeon when he was finished w/the hernia repair. Dr Rak was far from professional during the consult. He was rude and essentially had no empathy, or reasoning as to why he would not perform the procedure.

I’ve been doing research for years trying to find the right procedure for myself. I finally chose liposuction to start my journey. I’ve tried various diets and on each one it didn’t seem like anything was happening. I’m really excited about my procedure, I finally have a date. I just paid my deposit a few days ago. Updated on 22 Feb 2018: I have my pre-opp appointment coming up in about a week. My goal was to try to diet before, but that didn’t happen. I have 3 weeks or so until my procedure so I still have a little time. I want try try and get off at least 10 pounds before I have to go in for the procedure. Does anyone have any tips? Updated on 13 Mar 2018: Today is the day everything is paid and I’m ready for my procedure. I am sitting in the waiting room waiting for the doctor. They have you come an our before hand, I’ve been here for about a or and a half. I hope all goes well, see you on the other side. Updated on 17 Mar 2018: Updated on 19 Mar 2018: Updated on 24 Mar 2018: I had my post opp appointment a few days ago, they said that swelling is normal and to expect to be very swollen for the next 3 weeks. I’m still sore as well but that is getting better daily as well. Updated on 28 Mar 2018: Again I’m still swollen but it’s going down here and there. I’m still a bit sore but is nothing like how sore I was a week ago. So far I’m happy with my results, I’m already thinking about round 2 in 6 months. Updated on 9 Apr 2018:
