Office review - Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and with care

I recently had a Rhinoplasty done by Dr. Leedy and I am extremely happy with the results. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt at ease and comfortable with the entire staff. Dr. Leedy took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss my goals for the procedure. They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision about the type of procedure that would be...

2 months post-op tummy tuck, breast lift, lipo 360 & thigh lipo, love results!

I had a great experience with Dr. Leedy and his team. I made thorough research on plastic surgeons in the Cleveland area for a tummy tuck and breast lift. I didn’t want to go far away from home. I had one consultation with another plastic surgeon and Dr. Leedy. I first picked Dr. Leedy after I researched his website. I compared the before and after photos and I liked the results (the i...

The doctor and staff are far more than I could have hoped for

Surgery Abdominoplasty with lipo 360, lipo lateral thighs, bilateral breast implant exchange with capsulectomy and silicone exchange I am one week post op. Dr Leedy and his staff rated alone are far more than I could have hoped for. I had a previous experience with a different plastic surgeon (PS) and I can say that as both a patient and a nurse, you cannot go wrong if you choose to go to...

Feel like a completely different person with a new outlook

As a mother of three young children, making the decision to undergo an abdominalplasty was one of the biggest decisions of my life. Dr. Leedy is absolutely wonderful! His entire staff have been kind, helpful, and involved in my journey since day 1. I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Leedy about my concerns, and he reassured me every step of the way during the process from preop to post op....

Exceptional Professionalism and Outcomes

From consultation, surgery, and post op recovery, I couldn't have asked for a more intentional, reassuring, and meticulously detailed team of professionals. After four children via c-section, I spent 16 years self conscious and hiding my pouch and thinking about it daily. No amount of exercise and training could take it away. Making the choice to use Dr. Leedy has given me my confidence...

100 Q&A

Q: Can I get a BBL if I had one treatment of Sculptra?
Answered by Dr. LeedyAugust 22, 2018

A: Every doctor will have a different comfort level for doing procedures that are a little out of the ordinary and your situation would require an in-person consultation to determine if you would be an appropriate candidate, but in general, I am comfortable with performing fat grafting on patients who have had previous Sculptra injections, as long as the injections were performed approximately 12 months prior and there is no evidence of complications from the injections such as granulomas, lumps, firm areas, etc.  Best of luck!

Q: Is 8 weeks too much time off from work for a breast reduction?
Answered by Dr. LeedyAugust 15, 2018

A: Most patients need at least 2 weeks off for a breast reduction.  Nurses at the hospital I work at are given 2 weeks by their employer, the hospital, and they do well.  They have to limit lifting and try to ask for extra help if needed until they feel strong again, which is typically 4 weeks.  For more physical jobs, like police work, I do ask patients to hold off for at least a month, maybe 6 weeks.  Best of luck.

Q: Will the fat stay in your hip area after getting a BBL?
Answered by Dr. LeedyJuly 31, 2018

A: Nobody likes hip dips.  Fat transfer with a BBL can correct this when done properly.  The combination of removal of fat above, and sometimes below, the dip with filling into the dip can often fully correct the issue.  Be sure to consult with a plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  Best of luck.

Q: Sad about tummy tuck results: Is there a solution? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. LeedyMay 4, 2018

A: The scar is high.  That's unfortunate.  A revision abdominoplasty is possible.  In this procedure the incision is just made lower and the tissue is re-elevated off of the muscles and pulled down tight.  This is the same as a mini-tummy tuck.  Enough time has to pass for some laxity to develop in the lower abdominal skin.  On the sides, the scars can be revised as well.  An in-person consultation is always needed to determine if the procedure is right for you.

Q: I went to a plastic surgeon and I was told that visceral fat cannot be removed? Is that true?
Answered by Dr. LeedyMay 4, 2018

A: Visceral fat is the fat that is wrapped around the organs.  It is underneath the muscles, inside the body cavity.  The only way to decrease that fat is weight loss.  There are no plastic surgery procedures that can decrease visceral fat.  The typical patient with visceral fat is the man with the "beer belly".  The belly is round but very firm.  There's little fat that can be pinched on the sides.  Some women have this as well.  PCOS patients can have a similar shape.  Unfortunately there's only weight loss to help decrease the fullness.  Best of luck.
