Dr. Vanek and his entire staff are wonderful. I was extremely skeptical going in for my consultation, as I have had two prior surgeries with unfavorable outcomes. During my first visit, Dr. Vanek and Mary Jo spent over an hour with me discussing my expectations, the outcome I was hoping for, previous surgeries, fears, what to expect, etc. They were so patient and kind, and went above and beyond to ease all of my worries and anxiety. Dr. Vanek was extremely honest with me, and not once did I feel forced or that I was being "sold" on something - quite the opposite. I was sent home and told to think about the conversation had, and not to make a rash decision. From beginning to end, the communication, care, respect, empathy and sheer professionalism was outstanding. I could not be happier with my results and with the overall service

I am currently 52 years old and started working with Dr. Vanek back in 2013. A friend of mine had a "mommy makeover" and looked great. I had 3 children, my youngest was then 8 years old, and I decided to look into it. I met with Dr. Vanek and his Team and decided to get the same procedure. I was so nervous. But, I am happy every day with the decision to have the surgery myself! I have been back to see Dr. Vanek every year or so and have had various treatments done... facials, botox, and a bit of filler. Everything has always been amazing. I am writing today because a few weeks ago I had a minor accident on a Saturday afternoon that was going to require (per the medic at the event... a few 'staples', in MY FACE). WHAT?!? We called the hospital but they did not have a plastic surgeon in the ER. I called Dr. Vanek's office, which was closed. Dr. Vanek called and asked me a few questions then said he would take care of me and he could be in his office in 45 minutes. Yay! He stitched me up and I went home. Just 2 weeks later, at the same venue where I fell, I saw many of the same people who could not believe I was already healed up. You could barely see the scar after just 2 weeks of getting 7 internal and 15 external stitches. Did I mention they were in MY FACE. Ugh. Thanks TONS to Dr. Vanek and his group. They are amazing!!

Please Read! Like you I relied heavily on sites like this when going through Breast Augmentation. Here's what I want to share. STATS: 5'5", 155 lbs, 45 YO, Pre Surgery 34 B After 34 DD Sientra Implants under muscle 505 cc Level 3 muscle release. I won't get into the consult because it was similar to what everyone else post. Although my Dr. was awesome helping me choose size I had 3 options to achieve my goal 535, 505 and 485. I chose 505 cc Day 1 thru Week 1: Very sore, felt like rocks on my chest. Very hard and sleeping was difficult. Meds helped stopped taking after day 4. Underarms sore could barely raise to put on deodorant. Showering was uncomfortable, couldn't wash back or underarms well. Week 2-3: More mobility, still hard and sore. Still sleeping on back, although Dr said I could sleep however I felt comfortable. Wearing Surgery bra, felt uncomfortable without it on. Incision area still sore to touch as well as breast. Breast massage is helpful but still sore. Left breast is more tender and nippers are very tender. Week 4: Started feeling more normal, breast are softer feeling like apart of my body. Can last longer without a bra on, showering is back to normal. Sleeping is somewhst comfortable on my side but still propped up. Week 5-6: Finally feeling normal, wearing no bra is comfortable. Side sleeping is great! Purchased bras, 1 underwire and 1 without. Updated on 10 Aug 2020: Dr. Vanek and his staff is A+++. I felt comfortable from the initial phone call with MaryJo. Dr. Vanek was professional and gave his professional opinion without pressure. From consult to surgery to post op everything was smooth. I am very happy I found Dr. Vanek, and I recommend highly.

I have had several procedures done by Dr. Vanek and I cannot be more pleased with the results! I have always received the best possible care and I cannot express my satisfaction with the quality treatment. More importantly, I am eternally grateful to Dr. Vanek for taking a special interest in helping my husband who was repeatedly misdiagnosed by another care provider. Upon seeing Dr. Vanek, he immediately diagnosed my husband and recommended a treatment plan. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable; he was also kind, caring and very understanding. Dr Vanek and his staff are amazing. From the first appointment and throughout the rest of his career he takes care of you. They walk you through step by step to make sure you are comfortable and knowledgeable to all steps of the procedure. My procedure gave me confidence that I had lost about myself. I am completely overjoyed and satisfied with my results and the care that I received and recommend anyone who is thinking of having a procedure done to make a appointment with Dr Vanek and his staff.

Dr. Vanek is and extremely attentive Doctor Who listens to all of your concerns. He is so kind And goes above and beyond to make sure all patients are taken care of. I have been seeing him for a couple years, and every visit is exceptional. Highly recommend for plastic surgery, skincare, etc. His staff is always very kind as well!

I was extremely happy with the care I received from Dr. Vanek and his amazing staff. To say the results were life changing for me would be an understatement. Cosmetic and plastic surgery is such personal experience and one you need to feel confident in your decision making. Dr. Vanek is not only the most knowledgeable and educated in his field of expertise but he is very informative and compassionate in his care. He is never rushed, even though I'm sure he has a full schedule. And always takes his time answering questions, even when I knew they were ones I had probably already asked before. The whole experience was wonderful from the consultation, surgery and post op treatments. The plan of care is very comprehensive and anticipated all my needs. We sought out DrVanek because he was the only plastic surgeon in the northern Ohio area adept at Liposculture & the j-plasma skin tightening procedure. After 4 months of recovery/healing, we went on vacation to a sunny location. We felt confident in our bodies while wearing a minimum of clothing by the pool or in the ocean.
