With this approach the pectoralis major muscle is not released where it inserts onto the ribcage, resulting in an implant that sits a bit higher than after a regular breast augmentation. The breast is then lifted up onto the implant. The end result is a perky, youthful breast shape with an implant that stays in position over the years, even if you gain or lose weight.
