It is a privilege and an honor to have the skills to help people live better lives. I feel truly blessed that through my work I make positive, often life-changing impacts for my patients. My goal is my patients' happiness and I strive to accomplish this through all my patient interactions.
*With all breast augmentation consultations you will receive a Dazzylle Breast Implant Sizing kit. This allows you to "test drive" the look of breast implants before having surgery. Dr. Leedy is the only plastic surgeon offering this in Northeast Ohio. Determining the right look for you with breast augmentation is an important decision and the Dazzylle kit will make you more confident in your decision.
I had consultations with a few plastic surgeons in the Cleveland area. I decided to move forward with Dr. Leedy and his staff because of his experience performing successful gynecomastia surgeries (the office has an extensive photo album) and he seemed like a genuinely good person. Additionally, the price of the procedure was reasonable considering Dr. Leedy's experience and track record. The day of the procedure was very straightforward. I had a few prior surgeries, so I had a general idea of what to expect. Dr. Leedy's staff of nurses and anesthesiologists were great, we were joking with each other until I went under. I was decently sore from the surgery for a couple of weeks. I wore a chest compression vest for the first week and also had surgical drains. After a week, I had the drains removed (quick and minimally painful) and could switch to wearing under-armour compression shirts in lieu of the compression vest. Dr. Leedy's NP Holly takes the reins in guiding you through the recovery process. She is very kind and willing to answer any questions. The only thing I was initially skeptical of was the incisions in my nipple. They seemed sort of arbitrarily placed (in the lower portion of the areola). I believe most surgeons make the incision where the skin meets the areola under the nipple. My concerns were short-lived because the scars healed up nicely. I'm about 3 months out from the procedure and the scars are barely visible at this point. I do have some scar tissue build-up that I'm working to massage out. Dr. Leedy did offered some injections if massaging the site does not break down the scar tissue. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my results and working with Dr. Leedy. His staff was great as well. They were always flexible to work around my schedule. Based on my experience, if you choose to have a procedure done with Dr. Leedy, he will do everything in his power to get you the results that you want. It doesn't matter if it takes 2-months or 2-years.
I love my results and Dr. Leedy, his office staff , anesthesiologist and all the nurses. Everyone was very kind and had patience for me being nervous. It’s been almost 3 years since I had liposuction 360 and so happy with the way Dr. Leedy has reshaped my body!!
I recently had a Rhinoplasty done by Dr. Leedy and I am extremely happy with the results. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt at ease and comfortable with the entire staff. Dr. Leedy took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss my goals for the procedure. They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision about the type of procedure that would be best for me. The procedure itself was a success and I am thrilled with the outcome. Dr. Leedy was highly skilled and paid close attention to detail, ensuring that the results looked natural and exactly as I had hoped. The whole OR staff was amazing, thank you to Tiana Hosta, Amanda Willbur, Jenny Misniak, Tricia Dixon, Julies Voinoich and Kelly Beckman. You guys took the absolute best care of me and made me feel like family. The aftercare was also exceptional with Dr. Leedy, Kelly Beckman, and Annie Tyler checking in on me regularly to make sure that everything was healing as it should. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and with care. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Leedy to anyone considering plastic surgery. His whole staff are professional, skilled, and they truly care about their patients' satisfaction and well-being. Thank you Dr. Leedy and staff for giving me the results I had always hoped for!
I had a great experience with Dr. Leedy and his team. I made thorough research on plastic surgeons in the Cleveland area for a tummy tuck and breast lift. I didn’t want to go far away from home. I had one consultation with another plastic surgeon and Dr. Leedy. I first picked Dr. Leedy after I researched his website. I compared the before and after photos and I liked the results (the incisions’ look, the changes in the body shapes, and the surgeon’s attention to details). Before my first consultation with him, I scheduled an under-eye filler/botox appointment with NP Annie. This was the first time to ever have any. Annie is great, professional, and very honest. She explained to me the whole process and recommended what I do and don’t need and she set up expectations. I loved my results and I noticed the under-eyes filler results right away. I had no bruising or issues after. A month later, I had 1st consultation with Dr. Leedy. I wanted to do a tummy tuck, breast lift/ augmentation (I didn’t want a big shape but wanted to be perkier) lipo 360, thigh lipo, and a thigh lift. Dr. Leedy advised me to stage the surgeries and postpone breast augmentation with the thigh lift to a second surgery. he was very detailed and explained what will he do during the surgery, and what the recovery would be like. He was very honest about the expectations for my results and how many surgeries he can do at a time, and why he prefers to wait on the breast aug and thigh lift. He puts patient safety first regardless of profit and that is what I wanted most. I had so much communication with Ivanka, phone calls, and emails. Going back and forth for several quotes and wasn’t sure at the beginning what surgeries I would do. She offered me another visit with Dr. Leedy so I can be sure of what I wanted and make a final decision. So, after my 2nd consultation with Dr. Leedy, I felt more confident about what I wanted and made the final decision. Ivanka is always warm and welcoming. She answered all of my questions and she would get back to me with answers from Dr. Leedy. She made me feel comfortable and not pushed or rushed to decide anything. The morning of the surgery I was terrified but the first moment I met with the nursing team, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Leedy I really felt at ease with their professionalism and reassurance. I literally felt that I’m in good hands and I got excited to be just a few hours away from a huge body transformation. I had my tummy tuck, breast lift, lipo 360, and thigh lipo in September and I could not be any happier. The 1st week was tough but then my recovery was very smooth and I believe that a great part of it contributed to Dr. Leedy’s surgical techniques and the follow-up care that I got from him. I was seen by him and Annie the next day following my surgery, then a week later to pull out the drains, then at 6 weeks and my 3 months post-op is coming up in December. I was provided with detailed follow-up care instructions and with all that I need for post-op recovery including (medications, gauzes, antibiotic cream, scare cream, garments … etc). At my 6-week follow up I had a complimentary facial with Katie. She is amazing, explained to me what she did and what products she used. She answered all of my questions and my skin felt very refreshed and nice instantly. Now. I’m 2 months post-op and I’m loving my results. This is one of the best decisions that I’ve made and I’m glad that I had Dr. Leedy as my plastic surgeon. I’m very happy with how my incisions look and my new shape. I’m glad that he suggested not to do breast augmentation now and just a lift because I like my size now and won’t do an augmentation. He’s not only an amazing plastic surgeon he’s an artist. I’m planning to do a thigh lift next year with him. My overall experience with CPSI has been superb. The entire staff is very professional, competent, and welcoming. I will continue to use their services and I highly recommend them.
Surgery Abdominoplasty with lipo 360, lipo lateral thighs, bilateral breast implant exchange with capsulectomy and silicone exchange I am one week post op. Dr Leedy and his staff rated alone are far more than I could have hoped for. I had a previous experience with a different plastic surgeon (PS) and I can say that as both a patient and a nurse, you cannot go wrong if you choose to go to Dr. Leedy. I feel Dr. Leedy is not only a surgeon with the science behind his execution, but also a perfectionist in the art of medicine. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a medical professional that excels at both. He can hear your vision and is able to take his knowledge and execute that vision. I feel like I need to tell my back story to have someone understand the full appreciation of what Dr. Leedy and his team has done for me. When I went to a previous PS, I went with the intent of wanting a slimmer stomach/torso, and had a consult for a tummy tuck with lipo. Since I am a curvier woman, he recommended breast implants and liposuction to achieve the look I wanted. Trusting his judgement, after showing multiple pictures of my hopes, I took his advice. Everything was okay for the first three months. Then the problems started. I was not seeing the results from the lipo - was told it would take up to a year to see results. At this time I also started having uncomfortable discomfort in one breast and it was sitting a little higher and was harder than the other side - told my breasts were uneven to begin with so that was expected. I ended up having numerous emails exchanged, and follow up appointments expressing my concerns of pain and tightness. He and his staff would just always say how “nice I looked, compliment me, and he voiced how “nice and high up that particular breast looked” - no joke. After three follow visits voicing the same concerns and no real action taken on his part, I decided to advocate for myself and get another opinion. I learned of Dr. Leedy through his ratings when doing extensive research online. I had it narrowed down between him and one other surgeon. It so happened, a client of my sister had had surgery with Dr. Leedy and was extremely pleased with her experience. It seemed like a sign that he was the one I should choose of the two. So my journey with Dr. Leedy began… First: Have you seen his education and experience? Consultation: Easy to schedule. Spent appropriate amount of time. LISTENED and HEARD my concerns. Immediately recognized the capsular contracture that the previous surgeon kept putting off as normal. Was supportive when I almost broke down and thought “this is what I get for being so vain.” He and his nurse were very emphatic and compassionate to my insecurities. Together, we came up with a plan and when something didn’t seem realistic or he knew I wouldn’t get the desired result I was seeking, he gave me alternate options. Surgery Scheduling: He is in demand, but I was willing to wait. My initial date was going to be four months away. I asked to be put on a cancelation list. Pre-Op: I was fortunate to get an earlier appointment from the cancellation list. They got me in right away - literally the week they called I was going to have surgery the following week. I was so glad, because I was in pain from the capsular contracture. We went over the plan again. Everything was explained in great detail. Tried on different sizing for new implants, etc. Hotel information was given to me from Ivanka since I’d need to stay close to the surgery center overnight since I live a distance away. Post-op meds were called into my pharmacy so I could pick them up and be prepared for after surgery. Surgery Day: Husband dropped me off, Nurse Kelly came to get me, got me prepped, discussed post-op (which was also discussed with my husband upon pickup and given in paper form); talked with the anesthesia doctor and nurse anesthetist who both explained their roles and what to expect from them; Dr. Leedy came in and we reviewed process and procedure again, he marked me up and answered all the questions I had. Post-Op: Don’t remember much of recovery. Husband said he was called by Dr Leedy with update, he came back into recovery room, Kelly went over discharge information, discussed drains, etc. I was put in light compression garment, bra, and binder. The nurses were great at explaining the point of these items was to hold dressings in place and not actually apply too much compression. I also brought a button up dress that was so easy to put on over everything. Amazon find for less than $20. Best purchase ever! Then off to the hotel for the night. Hotel was the hardest part. Advice- buy a wedge pillow to help elevate head and bring some of your own pillows. Have someone with you that is ready and able to be a big support - I needed a lot. Take your meds regularly. I tend to try and be tough - believe me this was not the time for that. Day After Follow Up: Easy in. Taken right back to room. Dr. Leedy and his nurse looked at all incisions, drains, etc. They showed my husband how to do drains again to reinforce earlier teaching, and how to administer the lovenox injections. All questions were answered. I wore that same button up dress! Nurse Phone F/U: Kelly checked in to see how things were going. Also found out husband had contacted the office at some point to ask questions. One Week Follow Up Appointment: Appt was with his CNP. Stripped down to nothing and covered in gown (she can help or the person who brought you in) to check swelling, bruising, and incisions were where they needed to be for one week post-op. She took out drains, applied dressings, took off dressings under breasts. Dr. Leedy came in to do follow up and check things out himself. Between he and his CNP they explained the next steps - what to expect with swelling, sleeping, etc. They went into detail about how wound care now changes from week one, scar cream is incorporated, and how compression garments are now used differently than the first week. Things I Really Appreciated: That I didn’t have to figure out where to purchase and what garments I needed. Their office had everything I needed - compression garment, binder, and bra. They also made sure that they were still what was needed at the one week follow up. I ended up needing to go down a size in the compression garments. They supplied that too. This saved me so much money and so much unneeded stress. I had spent hundreds of dollars on these items and never knew if they were really what was needed, never got validation if they were what was needed with my past PS experience. So this was HUGE for me. The binder Dr Leedy’s office gives actually is sized for a woman’s torso, where the past one I had pushed under my breasts and I was told just to fold it in half. The surgical bra is adjustable in multiple places so will adapt with me as the swelling goes up/down and the breasts finally settle in place. That button up dress. I will have my next follow up in a week and a half. If I could change one thing… I would have chosen Dr. Leedy the first time around. Updated on 31 Jan 2023: One Month Follow Up Appointment: Went pretty much the same way as the one week appointment . Made sure bruising and swelling were appropriate for healing. I was no longer having that much pain. Completely off of pain medicine. Just Tylenol extra strength at night. 3 month follow up appointment: incision still a little red, advised this is okay and it will begin to turn white in about another 2-3 months. It is not raised at all and looks very good. Advised to use sunscreen or keep covered when in sun. 3 month pictures taken.
As a mother of three young children, making the decision to undergo an abdominalplasty was one of the biggest decisions of my life. Dr. Leedy is absolutely wonderful! His entire staff have been kind, helpful, and involved in my journey since day 1. I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Leedy about my concerns, and he reassured me every step of the way during the process from preop to post op. I had an abdominoplasty with lipo 360 with muscle repair, as well as a mastopexy, and I am 6 weeks post op. I am shocked at my results, and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Leedy has truly changed my life, and I will be forever grateful. I feel like a completely different person with a new outlook on life, and everyday gets better and better. My only regret is that I didn't have the surgery sooner! Thank you Dr. Leedy and your entire staff for giving me my life back
From consultation, surgery, and post op recovery, I couldn't have asked for a more intentional, reassuring, and meticulously detailed team of professionals. After four children via c-section, I spent 16 years self conscious and hiding my pouch and thinking about it daily. No amount of exercise and training could take it away. Making the choice to use Dr. Leedy has given me my confidence back! So much so I proudly purchased a bikini. Clothes are much more flattering as well. I am forever grateful and would recommend Dr. Leedy without an ounce of hesitation. Updated on 2 Jul 2022: Nine months post-op and feeling so wonderful! So grateful to be able to return to a bikini and enjoying the beach without feeling self conscious! It just gets better and better as the months go on. Forever grateful.
From the beginning at the consultation I was sold that Dr. Leedy would give me the results I wanted. I received a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360. I am truly amazed at how small my waist is and my scar is almost unnoticeable as I’m only 7 weeks post op. Also not to mention he does a phenomenal job on the belly button, you would never have know I’ve gotten any work done. Truly a blessing.
Dr. Leedy and his staff are simply amazing! From day one I always felt very comfortable and welcome, even while asking 100 questions. I chose Leedy due to his excellent patient reviews and the beautiful results from before/after photos. I had a tummy tuck, muscle repair, and lipo 360. The morning of my surgery I walked in with a huge smile on my face (I had dreamt of this day since my first child via c-section 14 years ago). I knew I was in great hands and Leedy reassured me I would love my results. He went above and beyond my expectations!!! I am honestly blown away with my results and I’m only 7 weeks out. My stomach is flat and toned (even with swelling), I have perfect curves, my incision is low, flat, and follows my bikini line, and a cute new belly button. To say I highly recommend Leedy is an understatement! Just do it, you will be so happy!
I could not be happier with my results from Dr Leedy. I had consults with several plastic surgeons before I decided on Dr Leedy. I looked at thousands of tummy tuck pictures online for 6 months before I decided. Ultimately I felt Dr Leedy had the best belly buttons, low clean incisions and no dog ears. I was very concerned about my belly button and ending up with a square shape. I was thrilled when I saw I had an hourglass shape and perfect belly button! My incision is low and clean and no dog ears. My recovery has been good with no complications.
That is certainly possible. The amount of grams required to make this change is different for different patients. There are limits however about what is safe to do and maintain blood flow to the nipple. There are patients that are just too big for a safe breast reduction with maintaining blood flow to the nipple and those patients are best treated with a nipple graft. In this surgery the nipple and areola are removed from the body, the breast is reduced, and then the nipple and areola are put back on as a skin graft. If you are too big to safely go down to a D cup your surgeon may recommend this. Best of luck!
Lower eyelid puffiness can be the result of many factors--extra fat in the lower eyelid, loss of volume in the cheek, droopiness of the cheek, looseness of the skin and muscle around the eyes. Treatment depends on the issue and may involve fillers, lower eyelid surgery for fat removal and possibly skin and muscle tightening, fat grafting to the cheeks, and facelift surgery. All of those are options in correcting the issue. Botox is not one of the options. Botox only weakens muscles, it doesn't provide any fullness. The best thing to do is to consult with a plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery experienced in this issue. Based on the pictures I imagine a nice improvement could be obtained with injection of fillers, but I bet to fully correct the issue a lower eyelid lift with fat removal and fat grafting to the cheeks would be necessary. Best of luck.
Based on the photos I would recommend a tummy tuck. In that surgery the extra skin can be removed and the muscles tightened. Liposuction is often done as part of that procedure to help contour the waist. If you just had liposuction, your tummy would likely look better and be smaller, just not as improved as if you did the full tummy tuck. There's pros and cons to both. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in person to get a full evaluation. Best of luck.
The reality today is that any doctor can perform any type of procedure. That doesn't mean they should but legally they can. Once you have an MD after your name you can call yourself an orthopedic surgeon, a neurosurgeon, a plastic surgeon, or a "cosmetic surgeon". I put cosmetic surgeon in quotation marks because there is no board-certification in cosmetic surgery. The other specialties have board-certifications. Hospitals and surgery centers often require that the doctors that perform surgery there are board-certified by the American Board of XYZ depending on the specialty that the doctor wants to work in. So if you want to perform plastic surgery procedures at a certain hospital, that hospital will require the you are board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. If you're not, then you're not allowed to perform plastic surgery procedures there. So board-certification in a specialty provides evidence to a hospital (or surgery center and patients) that the surgeon has passed rigorous testing to prove that they are safe and capable of providing that type of care. There is no board-certification in cosmetic surgery. Look for a surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery if you are considering cosmetic surgery. Best of luck!
Thin patients can need tummy tucks too. When the muscles have been significantly stretched, resulting in a persistently full "pregnant" look to the abdomen, a full tummy tuck is the answer. In this surgery the muscles are tightened to create a flat abdominal wall. This is like wearing a corset, except it's internal. Thin patients are often trickier than fuller patients as the tissue planes are thinner and the dissection often has to be quite wide to account for the extent of the muscle stretch. Be sure to consult with an experienced surgeon. Best of luck.
