I would do it again. I had no pain and very little discomfort during the first few days. Nothing a Tylenol could not handle. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. The results are beautiful. Dr Kuy has very high standards and did an exceptional arm lift. I could not be happier. Updated on 2 Apr 2023: My surgery incision has healed well. It cannot be seen from front or back. It is only visible when arm is raised up. I did not want a scar in the tender part of arm. The surgeon did an outstanding procedure.

After 2020 and too many Zoom/on camera meetings I decided I was ready for a lift. I had several consults with other Doctors and decided I was most comfortable with Dr. Kuy and his team. I am currently 3 weeks out from my lower face/neck lift. I could not be more pleased. Dr. Kuy did an excellent job. I will be 56 this year and I want to look how I feel. 51 yrs old, 13 yr old saline implants under muscle, no issues with them finally removed under local. I’m so grateful to everyone who shares their journeys on this site because it definitely helped me make my decision. It was a challenging one. I have had saline implants since I was 23 yrs old, most of my adult life. My husband has only known me with boobs. So this decision was scary. My husband has been SO supportive by even telling me if I don’t like the end result I can always have them put back in and he loves me anyway I come and what ever makes me happy.I really didn’t want to be a slave to the implant redo. I had my first set of implants at 23 and they were 375cc saline under muscle. I had one deflate after 14 yrs and when I had them replaced I decided to go bigger, because bigger is better....NOT! I went up to 525cc saline implants under muscle over filled to 600cc. What my PS failed to tell me was I would have back, neck and shoulder pain constantly carrying these big ole boobs around, also not to mention mammograms are painful, all the pulling tugging and signing of waivers that if they ruptured one not their fault. Scary stuff, after my first set deflating I felt like I was on borrowed time and I was taking control of the situation. I finally decided at 51 yrs old that it was time. I also wanted to stop taking muscle relaxers at the end of the day because my back was killing me. I’ll try to keep this short.... I finally started to make consultation appts back in September. I had four consultations, way more than when I had my first BA, I just went for it then... young and dumb. I went to two female docs who tried to talk me into smaller implants. I was also stunned when I went back to PS who placed these big ole boobs, couldn’t believe during this COVID time he wore no mask, my husband couldn’t come w/me and he didn’t even touch the implants to see if there were any issues. Ran late, came in only took a few pictures, quoted me some prices and then told the nurse to make sure I got that price, like he was doing me some kind of favor. WTH? Oh and of the four docs he was charging me the most. So long of it I had been preparing myself for a total mind trip, I didn’t know if I would cry after the procedure when I got my first look. I had so many thoughts going thru my mind. What are they going to look like, am I going to regret my decision?? That being the biggest fear, after all there wasn’t anything wrong with my implants so of course I’m wondering what the heck am I doing. Not to mention what would my husband think, will he still be attracted to me?Once I had my last consultation w/ Dr. Kuy, I knew he was the guy. His staff was amazing and he was so kind. He listened to my concerns didn’t try to up sell me, but gave me some things to think about down the road if I was interested. He then asked me if I was prepared for the mental aspect of this procedure, which no other physician had bother to ask. Dr. Kuy was kind, helpful, informative and caring. I decided to go for the procedure under local. He asked me if I was sure I didn’t want to be sedated I told him I have a pretty high pain tolerance I could handle it. Skip ahead surgery was on the 9th, under local. They were able to squeeze me in because I did opt for local otherwise he was scheduling in to March of next year. So I’m so grateful, because I made the decision and wanted them out yesterday!Day of surgery I wasn’t to nervous... I think my husband was more nervous for me, he kept asking me if I wanted to be sedated and I could wait. I didn’t want to wait I was committed. So let me just say I think my Botox injections hurt worse than removing the implants under local. I couldn’t be any happier with my decision. I didn’t even really feel the numbing shots, and be fore I knew it.... Done! Of course I asked to keep the implants, and they laughed and told me to take them home and put them under the tree for someone else. ...Dr. Kuy did make a smaller incision and suctioned out the saline before removing implant since it was so large and to be less tramatic on me. Capsules were left and implants were good and intact.If I can answer any questions please let me know. I am beyond happy with my new old boobs. I think they look so good, even hubby asked why I ever got implants.... he loves them. I was a 34B before my first BA, I haven’t gone to officially get measured but I may have a little more breast tissue now. I could go on and on about this journey but I’ll end here. Yesterday was my first checkup and I got the ok to start working out again but wait one more week to do any push pull exercises. Also I found two great compression type sports bras from Fabletics that I’m wearing pretty much 24/7 just because it’s comforting while I’m still healing.. 27 years is a long time to have something hanging off your chest and then in a matter of 20 minutes they are gone...... Best decision ever! If you live in the Cincinnati area Dr. Kuy is who you should see. Updated on 13 Jan 2021: It’s been 5 weeks since my explant and I couldn’t be happier. I feel great. I’ve been using a scar gel daily for my incisions along with vitamin C serum and bio oil as I do have a few faint stretch marks which is to be expected and I’m totally ok with. I wish I would have had them out sooner. It’s been fun trying on all my old clothes because everything fits totally different and for the better. I no longer have that matronly feeling in my clothes. My experience was wonderful. Dr Kuy and staff are all very professional, kind and knowledgeable. I got a breast augmentation and couldn’t be happier with my results. Nurses Ellyn and Erin were also fantastic and took great care of me.

To make a long story short, I am very thin and really wanted a butt lift. Another surgeon in the area performed a botch job, and it's been devastating trying to fix it. After a lot of research and wasted Sculptra injections elsewhere (they just didn't work for me), I found Dr. Kuy. It's not easy finding a Cincinnati area surgeon who will perform a Brazilian Butt lift on a thin person. But, I'm so happy that I found Dr. Kuy. He was realistic, patient, and articulate. While I can't get back the money and time I wasted prior to Dr. Kuy, I can at least share this review in the hopes that I help someone else make an informed decision.

Had 450cc Mentor UHP silicons implants placed over the muscle and couldn’t be happier with my results. Recovery was so much easier than I anticipated! The size and profile definitely achieved the fullness/perkiness that I wanted. Prior to surgery I had practically no upper pole volume. I highly recommend Dr. Kuy!

Dr. Kuy is the best of the best. He listened to what I wanted and gave great feedback. His work is perfection and I love my new tummy, belly button, super low-cut incision, and perky breasts.
