A: Cellfina cost generally varies from about $3000 to $6000, depending on how many areas are treated. The procedure is done under local anesthesia. Patients generally go to work the next day and can workout in a day or two. It works better on dimples than streaks or linear cellulite, but can improve both.

A: We've had very high satisfaction rates with Miradry in our patients. About 2/3 do two treatments. Patients with excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) or normal but bothersome sweating can use Miradry. 

Laser hair removal does not interfere with Miradry (although Miradry can result in some hair reduction along with sweat reduction). Our nurses or estheticians can use a starch iodine test to identify sweat glands if needed.

A: The most common doseage of Botox to the glabella (the 11's) is 20 units. Patients with stronger muscles, especially men may require more, but in fact many patients use less to keep this area synchronized with the forehead, crow's feet and other areas. 

Dysport dosing is different. The most common Dysport dose to the glabella is 50 units, which is equivalent to 20 units of Botox in this area for most patients. 

A: Botox usually starts working 4 days after injection, with full effect visible in 1-2 weeks. Dysport starts to work a little earlier in most patients (2 days) with full effect at 1-2 weeks also. Jeuveau and Xeomin are the other two FDA approved Botulinum toxin brands; their timing is similar to to Botox. They all have the same active protein (Botulinum toxin). Botulinum toxin injections can be used indefinitely, for a lifetime. Injections are generally performed every 3-4 months for Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau and about every 4-5 months for Dysport, which lasts a little longer for most patients.

A: Coolsculpting reduces fat in most (but not all) patients by traumatizing the fat with cold thermal energy (freezing it). It's not as effective as liposuction, but Coolsculpting doesn't require anesthesia. In appropriate candidates, Coolsculpting is used to treat specific areas, like the abdomen and flanks (love handles). Areas can be treated more than once. Usually one site costs $750 for one session. Most doctos will add discounts when multiple sites are treated or multiple sessions are used. As always, seek out an experienced board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience to see if you are a good candidate.
