The entire thing took maybe an hour, and I walked out and spent the weekend with my friends in the city with zero downtime and little to no swelling. This level of direct engagement continued, with him dedicating ample time during a follow-up visit to discuss the surgery in detail, and personally responding to my emailed queries shortly before the procedure. The surgery day was made comfortable thanks to his calming presence and the support of his exceptionally kind and caring nursing team. In an extraordinary display of thoughtfulness, Dr. Bassiri visited me at my hotel the next day, morning and evening, sparing me the trip to his office for a post-operative check. Dr. Bassiri’s practice is unique, right down to giving out his personal cell phone number for any concerns or questions—a rarity in the medical profession. He has since checked in on me several times post-surgery, demonstrating care beyond the standard follow-up visits for stitch removal. Adding a personal touch, he sent two dozen beautiful roses to my home a few days after the surgery. My first consultation was nearly a decade ago. Before that, I had been treated by another MD and I have been going to Dr. Bassiri since the initial appointment. He's a genuinely good person who is incredibly talented in his profession. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Bassiri! I went into the consultation with him not knowing exactly what I wanted, just knowing what I didn't like. He listened to me and was able to understand and articulate back to me the results I imagined and how to get there. He talked with me for over an hour, answered all my questions, and was just fun to talk to. I felt so comfortable with him and his staff that I booked my surgery right away, without going for additional consultations (which is exactly what happened with my friend who referred me too). I got forehead Botox, lip injections, and cheek injections with Dr. Bassiri and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My lips look natural and amazing. My experience with Dr. Bassiri and his office has been such breathe of fresh air. He did my rhinoplasty surgery about 2 months ago and I truly don’t think I could be any happier with the results. From the start when I went in for my consultation I knew I was in good hands. Brittany, his surgical coordinator, was so friendly, responsive, and warm while setting up the appointment and greeting me in the office. I met with Dr. Bassiri for over an hour talking through everything, doing photos and morphs, and asking questions. He completely understood my vision and the importance of a natural look and still looking like “me.” I never once felt rushed or pressured and just got a great feeling from that initial appointment. I had planned to meet with a few other surgeons but canceled because I knew I was going to go with him. Leading up to surgery him and Brittany were super communicative, available, and friendly. I felt nervous before my surgery, which he completely validated and helped ease my concerns. He performed a closed rhinoplasty and everything went super well. My swelling peaked on day 3 after surgery and from there the swelling went down super quickly. I was sure to carefully follow all of his pre and post surgery guidelines, so recovery went very smoothly. On day 7 I did have a small bump in the road when I got a severe nose bleed, but he talked me through it on the phone and met me in his office early in the morning to help. We resolved that same day just with some dissolvable packing and there were no further issues. Since then, my nose has only gotten better and better. I’m so happy with the outcome and feel much more confident, especially as I recently got engaged and know I’ll look my best on my wedding day! In my follow up appointments I’ve worked mostly with Caroline, who is so friendly and helpful. I love how responsive and accessible everyone in his office, him included, are. I never felt like he was some big surgeon who didn’t have time for me. He’s truly committed to his patients being happy with their outcomes and you can tell he’s a caring individual and doctor.
