Dr. Samuel Beran is a leading plastic surgeon in New York who specializes in surgeries of the breast, face, and body. He is the founder of the Samuel J. Beran Cosmetic Surgery Associates of New York, which has locations in New York City, and in Westchester and Putnam counties, including Harrison, Valhalla, and Newburgh.

With over 20 years in practice, Dr. Beran is particularly noted for his expertise in breast enhancements—including augmentation, breast lift, reconstruction, reduction, and implant revision—and body contouring with surgical, minimally invasive, and noninvasive methodologies. Dr. Beran received his undergraduate degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and then went on to earn his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Afterward, he completed two residencies: one in General Surgery at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a second in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to being board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
