I had my augmentation 3 weeks ago. I am still recovering but so far things have been really easy. I went subglandular high profile 255 ccs. I wanted to go smaller for an athletic physique and wanted to fix some visual issues I think I had from gaining and losing weight all the time as a result of my fitness journey (was a runner and transitioned to body building/weight lifting). Dr. Hyman is clearly an expert in his craft and is very professional, as is his entire team. So far the results look exactly like I had envisioned. I was extremely nervous but everything went extremely smooth, no issues at all, and I didn’t even take more than three Tylenols during the entire course of these three weeks. If you are going to choose getting an augmentation, definitely do your research and ask all the questions before you make your decision to do elective surgery like this, but if you are going to do it, I would recommend Dr. Hyman. I was nervous and asked a lot of questions but at the end felt very confident in Dr. Hyman and his team going into the surgery. Couldn’t be happier!

From start to finish I can say I was treated professionally and respectfully. Everyone was so nice and I could not recommend Dr. Hyman enough, he listens to you and hears you. Takes in every thing you say and makes sure you are satisfied with your results. The surgery was great and I was up and about in no time after. I didn’t even need to take any pain meds because two Tylenol were enough. Before I knew it I was up and around and in less than a week I was able to be out again with my friends, granted every recovery is different and this was mine. I’m so very happy with my before and after I could not ask for more. I trust Dr. Hyman fully and would get other surgical procedures if I wanted to without worries. Rest assured you are in great hands with Dr. Hyman. Updated on 19 May 2023: It’s been a month and eight days exactly. I’m feeling great, no complaints. Dr. Hyman said I can return to full activities as long as I feel well. If anything begins to hurt to stop the activity. I’m looking forward to going back to all my activities.

I am a 58 year old woman and I had 28 year old saline breast implants I wanted removed for health reasons and peace of mind. I interviewed 5 surgeons in 3 states. I learned a lot from each consultation and would recommend everyone do so when considering plastic surgery. The other very important thing to do when considering breast surgery is to pay attention to the before and after galleries of photos. Each surgeon has their own style/outcomes and you'll want your vision to line up with their style as closely as possible. HANDS DOWN, Dr. Hyman stood out in ALL areas. He is congenial, intelligent, experienced, and takes all the time you need, no matter how many follow up emails with questions you send him, to respond to every single question and/or concern you have or develop along the way. I was uncertain at first whether I wanted to do a lift post the explant, so we agreed to drain the implants a couple of days before my surgery date. This was yet another important decision because it became obvious very quickly that I wanted the lift. I'm so happy we did this step. I am now six weeks post surgery. Everything has gone smoothly and exactly according to Dr. Hyman's surgical plan and predictions regarding recovery. I LOVE the shape and size of my breasts post surgery. Dr. Hyman provided created great symmetry and positioning. And his nurse, Julia, offered up a very sage perspective which every person should take in: they are not twins, they're sisters! ... Meaning, they were never and will never be EXACTLY the same. I really appreciated that statement very much. Recovery has been better and easier than I could have ever expected, even though he told me several times it would be. It really has been almost painless. If you follow the rules, eat well, allow your body to recover before doing anything strenuous too soon, and really listen to your body, you can basically be functioning within a couple of days. Quite amazing really. Especially given how incredibly painful breast augmentation was 28 years ago. I requested the lollipop scar and he agreed my case worked well for that. At the six week mark currently, I am pleased with how quickly the scarring is healing, although it is still too soon to be comfortable with, and I still have concerns about, the results of my nipple shape. Since I understand it can take up to a year for everything to settle, I'm happy to come back and provide an update at a later time. I would also note, that neither my husband nor I care too much about how my nipples will ultimately look - what's most important to me is that they work! Aside from the nipple shape, I'm literally in love with my very own improved breasts and couldn't be happier that I no longer have implants. Dr. Hyman and all of his staff have been wonderful to me and to partner with for this journey. Notably, Monique has been incredibly diligent and helpful as well. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Hyman and his team in my search and have zero regrets in having chose Dr. Hyman for this very important surgery. When I come back with updates, and am near the end of my healing journey (6 months to 1 year from surgery), I plan to post photos of the entire progression so women can see what to expect. That is the one thing that I could not find when I was researching, and I would have found that helpful. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about what has been thus far an excellent experience with Dr. Hyman. Thanks so very much to the entire team!

Did lipo 360 and bbl the results was great so went back for a breast lift with implants doctor Hyman is very patient and understanding you can always call he make the for no. Matter what I will be going back for more things and I recommend him for all your plastic surgery procedures etc...

I just had a breast augmentation with Dr. Joshua B. Hyman 1 month ago and can I just say that he is literally amazing (and also hot lol). My boobs came out EXACTLY how I wanted them to, no bigger no smaller, and the shape is so natural. I even told Dr. Hyman to choose the size for me using his professional opinion. I was soooo nervous to get this done because I didn’t want an overly fake look and I was terrified of the recovery period. I swear I do not think i could have found a better doctor in NYC. I was a small A before the procedure, with a chest deformity, and now I am a 34C. I got 350cc on each side. I have every girl in my pole class asking me where I got them done. Dr. Hyman was able to even out my boobs even with my deformity and I’m so happy!!!!! Recovery was pretty easy, the first 4 days suck in general because you cant really use your arms, but I have resumed (light) weight lifting and easy pole dance combos. I also got some lip and chin and nasolabial filler done at the same time and it all came out so natural and BEAUTIFUL. My boobs haven’t even fully dropped and I have already gotten so many compliments on them. My boyfriend was against it at first and now HE LOVES THEM. Dr. Hyman I can’t thank you enough. I also want to thank my bestie on staff, Monique, for making me feel so comfortable and taken care of during every appointment. I would panic and text her days before the surgery and she would text me back so fast. She is literally so beautiful and cute and helpful and comforting and I couldn’t have gone through with my boob job without her. Julia is GORGEOUS and amazing too and spent a good amount of time with me answering all my thousand questions. THANK YOU GUYS. You have actually changed my life and I will recommend Dr. Hyman and his staff FOREVER.

I had a great experience from the moment of consultation to post-surgery care. All of the staff were very friendly, well organized, and thorough in taking care of me. I had a bad experience with prior doctor and Dr. Hyman was able to correct the mistakes and I am finally happy with my breasts. I wish I had com to him in the first place.

I’ve gone to Dr. Hyman for 3 surgical procedures in the last 11 years. I’ve been incredibly happy with every surgery I’ve had so far. My first procedure was a breast augmentation which was a piece of cake! They came out beautifully shaped and I healed wonderfully. The incisions healed so well I could hardly see them. After my pregnancy I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair. It healed very well with no issues what-so ever and my belly button looks great compared to so many others I’ve seen. He does a great job with ensuring to make the cleanest incision for minimal scarring. My last procedure was an explant with full Capsulectomy and breast lift. After 10 years with my implants I felt my body was rejecting them, so I brought up my concerns to Dr. Hyman and he was understanding right away and was fully confident and ready to do the procedure for me. He is a very skilled surgeon as this procedure tends to scare off many in the practice. My breasts look incredible! I’m confident the scarring will fade well like my other surgeries. The shape and symmetry is beautifully done, they look like my breasts before pregnancy. I am extremely happy and would recommend Dr. Hyman to anyone in a heartbeat!
