Since it has been 18 months since your surgery, you are completely healed. What you see is permanent. There is no way to correct the problem without surgery.

What is a Non Surgical Nose Job

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

A non-surgical nose job is relatively worthless. Legal filler injections are not permanent and can only be used to make your nose bigger. Start saving your money for a real rhinoplasty.

Keeping tape on your nose at this stage is doing nothing to improve the reults of the surgery, but could be irritating your skin.

Tip Rhinoplasty: What Is It?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

A tip rhinoplasty is a procedure that reduces and refines the tip of the nose. It is often done in conjunction with changing other parts of the nose or it ca nbe done as a separate procedure if that is all that is needed.

How Much Does Rhinoplasty Cost?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Prices for all elective surgeries vary, but not just by geographic location. Experience and expertise are actually much more important in determining what a plastic surgeon charges.

What Would You Do to Improve my Profile?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I agree that reducing the size of your nose and adding a chin implant would make a very positive change in your appearance.

Anyone can have thick skin, but that does not mean that you cannot have a rhinoplasty. However, it might mean that there will be a limitation with the results.

Good luck with finding a competent plastic surgeon for that price. Try a University hospital training residents of go to Thailand or India.

As the name indicates, pain medicine should be taken for pain, not prophylactically. And pain or the lack of it does not effect wiund healing,

There is a limit to the amount of reduction of a nose that can be achieved because the principle is that cartilage and bone are removed and the skin must shrink to conform to what has been taken out. There ability of the skin to shrink, while quite satisfactory, is not unlimited.

Too bad Dr. Bellin Retired....

Went to Dr. Bellin in 1990 to have a breast augmentation... over the muscle......was awake during surgery!!! He did a fine job!!!! Many doctors have complimented my result ...how natural they look.......It is 27 years later, and they still look and feel natural ...however, I need to have them replaced due to the fact that they were Dow Corning implants and are now deteriorating / ruptured....... The newer implants of today are made better and won't leak ....

Deformed Nose and Face Structure

nose was too big....week after surgery was hell....loved nose when it came out of cast....swelled a few hours later and never went down till this day(2 months later)Its been 2 months since my rhinoplasty surgery and my nose is still very swollen. Not only that the more swollen and deformed my nose looks the more deformed my face structure gets. When the sides of my nose flattens my whole face gets long , droopy and flabby. I used to have very visible cheekbones but they are totally gone. My whole face structure, including my eyes have changed. On rare occasions when my nose looks good-skinny and refined (how it should be), my face is back to normal. But that's not often enough. I have two friends who had their noses done the same time i did and they look gr8! The week after the surgery when the nurse took off the cast, i looked great-it was my face with a beautiful nose. But a couple of hours later it widened, swelled, got upturned and totally deformed. N its pretty much stayed like that these past two months.I look like a different person n i cant take it anymore. All i wanted was a nice nose not a nasty face. When will the swelling or wtvr it is that deforming my nose and face heal? How much longer do i have to deal with this? (Im not sayin the surgery was a disaster bec. if my nose is gonna look like how it did on the first day ill be very happy...I just need to know that it will...an when...?

Worst Nose Surgeon

WROST nose job surgeon. Dishonest doctor He botched my nose in the 1990’s and then tried to cover himself up by performing another surgery with only local anesthesia. I felt the surgery !!! His “correction “ made my nose look even worse. Cartilage was collapsing and tip was uneven. I had to go for a huge 4 hour nose job correction with another surgeon.

this doctor left my nost botched with a collapsed tip - Manhattan, NY

Howard Bellin performed the first rhinoplasty in 1990 for a deviated septum and slight reshaping of the tip. I was left with a collapsed l septum and crooked tip. I went back to him to revise the tip and i was mortified to see that nothing was done. He performed the procedure in his office without anesthiologist. I was awake under light valium. I was able to talk during surgery. He told me to shut up or he would leave my nose in this condition and then showed me a mirror with my nose cut open and bones showing. I left my crooked pointy botched nose alone for 20 years and recently had it done a third time by a doctor in new jersey called dr. Christopher Godek. He specializes in fixing botched noses. I am still in recovery but so far so good. I was safely put under general anesthesia in a hospital for my safety. The doctor said too much blood enters the throat and airway and there is a risk of aspiration or laryngeal spasm. Thats how joan rivers died. So i was happily intubated, with no issues.
