5 out of 5 stars Rhinoplasty

I couldn't have chosen a better doctor to perform my procedure.

I procrastinated having my severely deviated septum corrected for years out of fear despite multiple opinions advising to proceed with surgery. I worried the changes to my nose would alter my appearance. As such, I approached my initial consultation with Dr.Romo with apprehension. During that first meeting, I must have asked a thousand varying questions that, frankly, would have frightened...

Dr. Romo is definitely my favorite doctor

I was very nervous and scared to have rhinoplasty done 2months before my big day as a bride to be and very happy at the first moment that i stepped at Dr.Romo's office because it felt like it was the perfect place to make the dream come true. I always wanted so bad to have rhinoplasty and change the shape of my nose but i was always on doubt because I didn't want to make bad decision of...

The best natural results

I had a rhinoplasty and a septoplasty back in December 2015. It is by far my best experience. Dr Romo is very knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manners. He explained all the process very well and he assured me that no one will ever notice that i had plastic surgery done. The recovery period was very quick and I had no pain whatsoever. It takes a few weeks to notice the swelling go down...

Quick and easy scheduled consultation and had my rhinoplasty surgery the next week! Made me very comfortable in the operating room and calmed me down before the procedure. It's been almost a month since my surgery and I'm loving my results!!!!

Natural, Easy, Beautiful and Long-lasting - New York

I have been seeing Dr. Romo for 10 years now, ever since he did my rhinoplasty. He is brilliant, subtle with his work, and a perfectionist. He is also active in his community and a humanitarian, which means a lot to me from someone in whom I am trusting my health. His staff are very attentive, giving advice before procedures and calling the day after to see how I am doing. He has always respected my wishes and kept me looking as natural as possible. My friends can't figure out why I look so good.

33 Years Old, Never Thought I Needed Rhinoplasty but SO HAPPY I Did with Dr. Romo - Manhattan, NY

Dr. Romo is extremely professional, kind, and takes excellent care of his patients. I wholeheartedly trust him with my face, improving it's appearance and keeping the look totally natural, I don't think you can get any more personal than that.

Dr. Romo treats you as if you're his only patient - New York, NY

I was referred to Dr. Romo in the Summer of 2016 and met him in November 2016. Within moments of the consultation, I knew that I wanted him to do my rhinoplasty! Because I don't live in New York, they had everything except the pre-op done in one day - I went right down the street, got my x-rays, came back and saw the computer imaging. On the day of my surgery, I was incredibly nervous. Dr....

Ear Reconstruction: Microtia Surgery

Ear Reconstruction: Microtia Surgery Microtia (a smaller than normal, usually misshapen auricle) is one of the more common congenital anomalies of the external ear. It occurs with a frequency of one in every 7,000–8,000 births in the general population. Males and the right ear are most often affected. Bilateral microtia occurs in one in every 12,000 births. The majority of cases have no genetic component, as less than 15% of these patients have a family history of ear anomalies...

Ear Reconstruction: Otoplasty Surgery

Ear Reconstruction: Otoplasty The standard otoplasty technique commences by removing a portion of skin behind the ear and then suturing back the cartilage in a partially blind procedure. Often, this approach causes an overpinning of the ears, which results in ears which are too close to the head. A subsequent effect of overpinning is the flaring of the top and bottom of the ears, also known as a “telephone deformity”. Dr. Romo designed and published a unique otoplasty...

Fat Repositioning and Removal

Fat Repositioning and Removal Like all the facial soft tissues, the fat pads in the face descend and diminish as we age, which results in facial hollows in the cheeks and wrinkles around the mouth. These areas can be filled by elevating and repositioning the fat pads and adding supplemental fat from the abdomen if needed. Alternatively, there can be an accumulation of fat that develops under the chin as we age, which can be eliminated with micro-liposuction. A combination of...

Facial Implants (Cheek, Chin, Temple, and Jaw Implants)

Facial Implants Facial implants can dramatically refine and improve a patient’s facial contour. Although the chin implant is the most frequently requested surgery, Dr. Romo also performs cheek, temple and jaw implants, as needed. Aging results in a downward shifting of the facial fat pads, as well as a loss of facial fat volume. Dr. Romo utilizes fat repositioning, fat grafting and selective liposuction to restore the youthful face. Cheek, Chin, Temple, and Jaw Implants The...

Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision Rhinoplasty The need for a revision rhinoplasty is usually the result of excess cartilage and bone being removed from the nose during a primary rhinoplasty. As the nose heals following a rhinoplasty, the nasal skin shrink-wraps around the remaining nasal architecture. Because the structure is weakened, the nose often becomes distorted and misshapen with ski-slope bridges, pinched nasal tips, retracted nostrils and compromised nasal breathing capability. Revision...
