I am currently 3 weeks post-op from a breast augmentation with Dr. Cohen-Kashi and have nothing but praise for Dr. Cohen and her entire office. After coming across his practice, I immediately knew I would be in good hands. Dr. Cohen level of expertise is evidenced through each conversation we have and I could have not asked for more from a doctor. On top of that I've been overly impressed with the post op care and contact. Absolutely in love with my results, and would highly recommend to all! This Dr is the best.I would recommend him to anyone that wants to the best care and outcome.
1st day post-op! Pain is a 4 out of 10 so far. Very little pain except its hard to get into a comfortable position due to the fact that I had abdominal lipo and I have to lay on my stomach! Hardly no drainage. Im 5'7 and 143lbs pre-op. have not seen my body yet without the garments but hopefully I will get to see and find out how many cc's of fat I was given when I see my doctor tomorrow for my 1st post op appointment.Updated on 20 Apr 2012:Today was my first post op appointment and it hurt like hell when they took the garment off. I didn't get to see my booty yet but my belly was a little bruised. Still feeling good. Will post pics soon
I felt younger than my outer appearance was looking, especially when applying makeup the creases became more visable. I decided to take the first step and seek a consultation with Dr. Cohen-Kashi. Dr. Cohen-Kashi was referred to me by an employee of NS-LIJ, and I realized why he came so highly recommended once I with him. I found him to be extremely professional and understanding of my interest in botox and fillers. He explained all my options and their potential results. His vast knowledge and bedside manner has absolutely shown its proof in my entire face.
I agree with the comments bellow. You seem to have realistic expectations and well educated about the topic. Once you reach your ideal weight, although it sounds like you're almost there, go for it!
Hi Beaks, It is not uncommon to have post tummy tuck touch ups such as liposuction of revision of dog ears. Waiting for a period of about 3-6 months post operatively is also very reasonable. If the areas that your plastic surgeon wants to touch up is bothering you, I would consider getting the lip done.
Dear Curious, It is very difficult to predict how much weight you can gain to obscure the results of a previous neck liposuction. Some individuals may gain more weight in their face and others in other parts of their body. Having said that a significant weight gain of 15-20 lbs may affect the results.
Dear Spices, Although it is not common to have a burn after a laser liposuction procedure, it may happen. Depending on the level of the depth of the burn and the type of your skin, scarring might be the result, and furthermore, depending on the severity of the scarring you may or may not need a skin graft. I would recommend a consultation or a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your wounds. Kambiz Jacob Cohen-Kashi, New York Plastic Surgeon
Definitely avoid having laser lipolysis for your under eye bags. The procedure is experimental at this point and the results are not consistent. The complications include lower eyelid skin burn and lower eyelid malposition which can be difficult to correct.
