Dr. Neil Tanna is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast. He is a women’s surgical health expert, with a focus on breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, mommy makeover, and breast reconstruction. Dr. Tanna is committed to achieving safe, long-lasting, and natural-looking results, while delivering exceptional, patient-centric care. Dr. Tanna has two offices, one located on Long Island in Great Neck, New York and the other is in Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Tanna is among a very small group of Plastic Surgeons in the world to have completed formal training in otolaryngology, plastic & reconstructive surgery, and microvascular surgery. After completing his medical training in one of the few combined six-year accelerated track BS/MD programs in the country, Dr. Tanna spent an additional eight years training to become a plastic surgeon. He completed a full otolaryngology – head & neck surgery residency at The George Washington University. He then pursued further training and completed a second full residency in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This was followed by a fellowship in advanced reconstructive and microvascular surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University (NYU).

Dr. Tanna currently serves as Vice President of women’s surgical services at the Katz Women’s Surgical Center. In 2018, Dr. Tanna was promoted to the rank of Professor of Surgery with the Zucker School of Medicine, making him one of the youngest full professors at Northwell Health. In addition, he is a full investigator in the Institute of Bioelectronic Medicine at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society, and the American College of Surgeons.
