I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Schmid and his incredible team. After having a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery, which was emotionally overwhelming, Dr. Schmid was nothing short of kind and patient. He made sure to answer all my questions, whether in a consultation, via portal messages, or through phone calls. I’ve recommended his practice to friends who are going through the same tough situation, as I truly believe his expertise and support made all the difference in my recovery. In my line of work I see many reconstructed breasts, and Dr. Schmid’s results stands out as excellent work over and over again. I was so impressed by the consistent symmetry he achieved on others, so I decided to become his patient. I did an eyelid “lift” (blepharoplasty), and I am very happy with the results. I was back to work in a few days. This procedure was able to be performed in his Morristown office. Dr Schmid has the instincts of an artist and he is very methodical and calculating in his measurements. Not only is this doctor talented, he is present, friendly and easy to talk to. Some of our mutual clients have told me how he has gone above and beyond post-procedure to ensure their healing stays on track. I am returning to him for explant surgery, a breast lift and facial rejuvenation. The office is helpful throughout this entire process, and I know that I am in good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Schmid if you are considering plastic surgery to look and feel your best.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Schmid and his staff, following my breast cancer diagnosis, I was referred to Dr Schmid for breast reconstruction. Dr. Schmid did an amazing job, he made me feel comfortable and he truly is a perfectionist and it’s awesome! You will be so glad you choose Dr. Schmid.

Dr. Schmid is so amazing. The day I saw him for breast reduction consultation he also did a skin cancer biopsy. He clearly saw I was nervous, and had no issues letting me chat away for a distraction. As for the breast reduction, it came out amazing! My neck & back pain were gone immediately. I look, and feel, incredible, even only 11 days out. Unfortunately I had a complication and developed a sudden large hematoma last night. Dr. Schmid was great on the phone and had me come into his office before hours started. After doing an u/s and seeing fluid, he tried to insert a drain while in the office using locals. When he saw that wasn't working, he sent me back to the surgical center so he could go in and see what was going on. He had already told not to eat or drink just in case, and he had already booked the OR just in case. While I'm still in pain from this second surgery that was done less than 24 hours ago, the excruciating pain from the hematoma is gone. His entire staff is friendly, and they all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. Updated on 6 Jun 2024: Dr. Schmid and his staff continue to be amazingly supportive. They make me feel seen and heard and aren't upset when I ask a lot of questions. After needing a 2nd surgery so quickly after the first one, the nurse, Cindy, always asks if I need anything or how I'm feeling when we communicate. I get the feeling she's asking physically and emotionally.

I wish I could give Dr. Schmid and his office more than 5 stars. I recently had an extended tummy tuck, breast lift and mini implant done and I’m so happy with my results. I went on consultations with other plastic surgeons where I left more upset than confident in what my results could be. Also I never felt confident with them and their knowledge of my medical history. I decided to book a consultation with a surgeon through summit health so all my doctors and history was all in one place and easily accessible. I chose to book my appointment with Dr. Schmid based off his before and afters on their website. I left my consultation ready to book my surgery with him and Shreya. They completely understood my medical history, made me feel good about my weight loss and what having/nursing 3 babies had done could be fixed. My surgery was 2 months later, everyone in the office has been a pleasure to work with. The team of people the day of surgery were amazing and the aftercare has been wonderful. They have been available whenever I needed and excited about my results. I’m currently 6 weeks post op. Loving my tummy tuck going with an extended tummy tuck was a great decision and my scar is thin and low. My breast lift and implants are everything I wanted. Better than before kids. Not too big for my frame, natural and perky. DO NOT sleep on Dr. Schmid, his work is beautiful. I could not recommend him enough!

The alphabet doesn't have enough letters to describe how wonderful Dr. Schmid and his wonderful staff are.. Jessica the surgery coordinator walked me through everything. She was very caring and informative about all the steps in regards to my options and Care. Dr Schmid explained everything to me , he takes time with his patients. He is very knowledgeable and listens to his patients ,at the beginning I was very afraid and concerned about my health my future and my appearance . and now I am just so happy about my outcome. improving my medical condition was my ultimate goal. I am super happy, my recovery has been painless amazing . I highly recommend Dr. Schmid I would give him 100 starts if I could. I found an insurance plan in January 2023 that COVERED breast reduction surgery--alleluia!!! At 63 yrs. old, I was concerned that it might be "too late" for me. I had 2 children in my early and mid-forties and time marched on, rapidly...when I began investigating breast reduction surgery years ago, I hit wall after wall. It was quite expensive and I was also still very busy with my kids. Last year, I switched insurance plans and found out the procedure would be covered AND that Dr. Schmid was in my plan! I knew about him and his colleague from many years ago, when I had been investigating physicians who were highly recommended for breast surgery. I booked a consultation with Dr. Schmid, and was scheduled for my procedure in mid-August 2023. I liked him immediately. He was soft spoken, understanding and very positive about his ability to give me the reduction I'd been waiting for, all the while dealing with increasing discomfort and pain resulting in other major surgeries. The results are amazing! To be able to order bras ONLINE in my size is something I have never been able to do--I couldn't even FIND my bra size in most stores--let alone online! I no longer have to worry about clothes fitting my "boobs", constantly pulling on and rearranging my bra straps, pulling down the back, etc. To put on a bra and NOT do this throughout the day, every single day, is nothing short of amazing and very freeing. And, not that I do it often but, I CAN run if I need to and am also back to taking yoga classes and weight lifting at the gym. These were things I'd done pre-pregnancy but could never do again post-pregnancy; it has literally been years. It's like having my "self" back again. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Schmid and his staff. All were patient, kind and people who I felt really listened to me, my concerns, feelings, and fears and relayed kindness, understanding and a caring attentiveness back to me. Dr. Daniel Schmid preformed the DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction procedure for me. The care I received from Dr. Schmid was exceptional. He listened attentively to my concerns and answered any and all questions that I had. He provided a personalized treatment that yielded positive results. The entire team at the clinic displayed a high level of professionalism and made me feel comfortable throughout my surgery and all my follow up visits. I recently had my breast implants removed and had a lift at the same time. I was extremely nervous about the change, but Dr Schmid and his staff made me feel at ease right from the beginning. Everyone was so pleasant, patient, and helpful. My recovery was way easier than expected and I needed only a couple of days of Tylenol after the surgery. My incisions are so small and though I still have a ways to go with recovery, I cannot believe how amazing the results are just a few short weeks later. I recommend him to anyone looking to have a procedure done!!! I cannot thank him enough!
