I had a gastric sleeve a year ago and I'm now down 200 lbs. I started at 420 lbs and I'm now 220 lbs and at 6'1" I feel like I'm in a good place. My procedure was done on July 2013 at 23 years old. I have lost 80lbs so far. Everything was fine until 2 months ago. I have pain every day on my left abdominal area, have really bad acid reflux and a hiatal hernia was just discovered (had none of this before). Not one doctor can tell me why I have pain, they have done numerous of ct scans, X-rays, ultrasounds. At this point I am very frustrated and I do not know what to do. My surgeon wants to take a look inside my abdomen to look at every organ, however, I am very scared of surgery and I do not think that this is the best for me right now. I believe that the surgery has something to do with my issues, even though, everybody tells me the opposite. Sometimes I wish I could go back. Any advice? Has anyone experienced any of these problems?
