Wonderful experience. Dr Ellern took the time to answer my questions and come up with the right approach, in this case fillers. It was painless and I could see the results right away. I was looking to take out some of the shadow under my eye. My Doctor said I have very prominent eyes and the surrounding can be improved to bring more focus to my eyes. I like now I’m able to wake up and don’t look as tired.

I have been to Reflections in Martinsville several times for laser hair removal treatment with Dr. Ellern. Dr. Ellern has always been very thorough and cautious during treatment. Today I met Dr. Ellern for the first time. I had questions regarding LHR. She was knowledgeable and addressed all of my questions and concerns. The procedure was quite painful but Dr. Ellern was very patient and considerate. A true professional.

Dr. Ellern has performed 2 V Beam treatments for fine pink and purple veins on my cheeks. She has been so thorough, carefully searching my cheeks and zapping the veins. Dr. Ellern administers the treatment meticulously. It has been a great so far. Dr. Ellern recommended the treatment at a consultation. I had gone for overall recommendations for improvement to my skin. She mentioned that I she could treat the fine veins in my cheeks. This treatment has really made a difference, my skin is brightened/lightened. I have one more appointment scheduled and will await Dr. Ellerns opinions post procedure.

I have been going to Reflections for years for different treatments and procedures. Dr. Ellern is a great addition; she is attentive, patient and thorough as well as professional. Had a few (maybe 4 or 5) Fraxel Treatment years ago for adult cystic acne. They were successful at the time but hadn't been to reflections for a few years and felt that my skin needed a Fraxel 'pick-me-up'. First wanted a consultation and met with Dr. Ellern who was great! She made me feel at ease and she listened to my concerns. My skin is very different then when first had the Fraxel treatments (Accutane) However there are still some minor scars, veins and my eyes seem a bit hollow. Dr. Ellern recommended Fraxel as well as VBeam treatments for the veins and ThermiSmooth for the eyes. I have completed 1 Fraxel, 3 ThermiSmooth (lower eye) and 2 VBeam treatments. This review will be for the Fraxel. It was a very different experience then years before. Will discuss the other treatments separately. Procedure date: March 30. The procedure took longer then those performed years ago; Dr. Ellern did more and thorough passes of the Fraxel laser. The pain was greater and had a lot more swelling afterwards but the results after just one treatment are amazing. Plan to have another but will wait until after the summer. Also the numbing gel is very different, thinner, lighter and much better. My friends and family noticed immediately that my face looks brighter, scars less visible, pores smaller and overall lines diminished. Dr. Ellern was kind and administered the Fraxel expertly. I strongly recommend her for her patience and compassion.

Dr. Ellern is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Very easy to talk to and addresses all your concerns. I had a clear and brilliant treatment with her over a year ago for the melasma on my face and noticed an improvement, so I went back this week for a second treatment. Looking forward to future treatments and Maintenance with Dr. Ellern.
