I've wanted and researched many years for a tummy tuck, doctor and cost. It all came together when I had a consult with Dr. A.K. Bhattacharya. Years prior he had worked on my niece's cleft lip and pallet when she was a child..So I decided to again visit him to see what he had to say and offer..His kindness, love for his craft, patience, informative nature and price for the procedure sold me. So now I'm 6 months out of having the tummy tuck and so pleased with my results and the care he offered. I just was a women born with a mid section that stored all my fat cells In This area and always wanted a flatter narrower waist line and finally live without a bulbous jelly roll where I felt uncomfortable In all my life! I've never had children just born with the jelly belly genes..now I feel so comfy in Jean's, shirts and bikinis the first time In my life! I wish i did it much earlier i stead of 50 years old lol..I highly highly recommend Dr. A.k. Bhattacharya to anyone based on my experience..Thank you Dr A.K. I feel ungrateful because I took forever to post my experience. This Doctor will change your life forever! I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like my breast after surgery, I didn’t do much research so I was scared! But let me tell you ! I got very lucky!! I found the best of the best! he knows what’s better size for you so let him choose you won’t regret it. My co-workers they all had their breast done they think my boobs are real! I work in GO GO bar by the way this girls paid lots of money for theirs they can’t believe how much I paid for mine! Anyway don’t look around anymore this Doctor is the best! I got 400cc look great feel great. My scars are healing quickly I was supposed to comeback for last check up never did but I’m doing just great ! I hope this is helpful to anyone out there that can’t wait trust me I know that feeling.

I have wanted a breast reduction since I was 17 years old. Insurance kept denying me, finally now at a 36H cup I decided eff it, I'll pay for it myself. (Thanks, CareCredit!) I also decided to add abdominal lipo because why the hell not, I'll be under anyway, and thank you forties for changing my metabolism >:( Anyhoo - feeling SOOOOO excited but also a little nervous about the procedure. It will be done under twilight anesthesia, which is exciting bc I won't have to worry about nausea from general anesthesia. I've never had surgery so the thought of going completely under made me nervous. I'm lucky to have a strong support system at home to help me recover, just a little nervous since this will be my very first surgery. I've given birth naturally (not by choice), had Lasik and had wisdom teeth removed, but I don't count those as no one is CUTTING INTO MY BODY (eek) Would love to hear some of your success stories and any advice!

My first experience with this dr. was in 2007 for a breast reduction. When I decided to have a tummy tuck with muscle repair I contacted Dr. Bhattacharya. I am 4 weeks post surgery. I'm thrilled so far.

Everything was terrific. The doctor explained everything before and the surgery went perfect. He answered all my questions and calmed my nerves. His staff is equally as terrific, with appointments, answers to questions, etc. I would highly recommend this doctor for any type of procedure. I still go to him for botox, etc.

I had received a breast augmentation and honestly it could not have gone any better! The ladies in his office were so nice, he made me feel so comfortable and I absolutely LOVE my new breasts! They look so great, I went from a 32A to a 32D and they look so natural! Not to mention nobody really notices which is exactly what I wanted! I can not thank this man enough.

I initially wasn't going to post anything but finally decided to because reading the posts of those who previously had the surgey done gave me so much confidence going into the procedure. For as long as I can remember I have had large breasts, by the time I was 23 years old I was a 36HH. Since then I have lost 20 pounds but nothing from breasts, so I finally decided to get a breast reduction. I had recently changed insurance companies and this one (qualcare) did not have has many hoops to jump through to get approved. My plastic surgeon took pictures to prove I had permanent indents in my shoulders and wrote a letter that he would definitely take out 350cc from each breast (he wound up taking out 850cc from the left and 875cc from the right); I was approved for the procedure the next day! I had my procedure scheduled for 3 weeks later. On the day of the surgery I was so nervous but excited at the same time. The procedure took 3 and a half hours and when I came out I was in pain but felt pretty good; I went home an hour later. 2 days later I went for my first post op appointment and had the bandages romoved, I remeber looking at them and thinking they were so amazing. By 5 days post op I stopped taking pain medication and was able to do a lot more. It is now 3 weeks post op and all my sutures are out and I started putting scargaurd MD on my scars (started that 2 weeks post op)! Last night I did have one of the internal dissolving sutures pop through just under my right nipple but I went to my plastic surgeons office first thing this morning and he cut it flush to the skin, so it was no big deal! I also went coat shopping today and was able to buy 2 coats with no problems. (I haven't had a proper fitting coat in years, I almost cried I was so happy!) So all in all I'm feeling great and it is definitely the best decision I have made! I will definitely post and update but I just wanted to let everyone know if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

I am 8 days post a full tummy tuck with abdominal muscle repair and minor liposuction on the abdominal and liposuction of the bilateral flanks. I am 23, 5'1, and about 115/120 pounds. I got this procedure because I gained and lost a lot of weight within 2 years and had extra skin and torn abdominal muscles.My recovery has gone quite smoothly this far, however today I noticed that on my left side below my belly button it is more bulged than the right side. To me, it feels a little "mushier" than the other side and is a little painful when I touch it (only the bulged side), but that could be in my head now that I know it's there.My surgery was last monday (12/28/09) and my post-op was on thursday after (12/31/09) and my drain was taken out at that time. My next post-op appointment is the day after tomorrow. Updated on 13 Jan 2010: I got a tummy tuck because after a rapid weight gain than loss, I had a lot of stretch marks, excess skin, and sever muscle tearage and at 23 I was not happy with that.What could this bulge be, what are the possibilities? Should I be worried? Should I call the office tomorrow or wait it out until the day after to see if it goes away? The doctor said that the bulge was a seroma and that it will go away by itself and not to worry, etc. However, I wasn't feeling good the past few days and I didn't actually vomit, but I was gagging and that left side hurt SOOO much and there was barely any pain on the right. First, is it POSSIBLE that it is a torn suture on my abdominal muscle? AND IF it was a torn/ stretched/ ripped internal suture from the abdominal muscle HOW WOULD I KNOW? AND is thre any way for the doctor to know without going back in or sending me for scans, etc.? PLEASE help I am FREAKING out. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
