My Biggest Insecurity Finally Gone - Englewood, NJ

Dr. Tobias is a very intelligent man with the utmost talent as an artist in rhinoplasty. He gave me reasonable expectations in what to expect my nose to look like after the rhinoplasty and he hit it out of the park. He was able to take something I hated and turn it into something I love. I am so grateful for his talent and ability to work on my nose.

For a More Feminine, Elegant & Natural Looking Nose…

I am a physician and middle eastern and had an elegant rhinoplasty done by Dr. Tobias. I had done a lot of research and was going to go with another plastic surgeons in the ny area but then I had by chance seen how nice my relative’s rhinoplasty had gone when I saw her at a family event and switched to Dr. Tobias last minute. Based on my medical background and research I can tell you that t...

Happy Girl! - Englewood, NJ

I had my surgery with him on October 8, 2014 and although it is still swollen I couldn't be happier with my new and beautiful nose! First of all my face didn't change at all. I am still myself but with a beautiful and more feminine profile! I did freak out few...

Great Doctor, Great Experience, Great Outcome! - Englewood, NJ

From our first appointment I felt comfortable with Dr. Tobias. Other surgeons would start by telling me what they could do to my nose and how they could change my appearance. But, Dr. Tobias started by asking me what made me feel self-conscious about my nose. Only after I was done talking Dr. Tobias responded. He was clear that he would NOT drastically change my appearance and would only give me a nose that fit my face. He was as opposed to “ski slope” noses as I was. It was such a relief to hear. The experience at Englewood Hospital was just as comforting. The staff made sure I was at ease all day and let me spend extra time in the recovery room after surgery. More importantly I am even more thrilled with the results than the experience! Dr. Tobias gave me a nose that looks like my nose, but better! My friends keep telling me I look great, but they can’t figure out what’s changed. People barely realize I’ve had my nose done. It’s fantastic! It’s exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier with the results Dr. Tobias gave me. Thank you, Dr. Tobias!

The Nose Made for Me - Englewood, NJ

After my consultation with Dr. Tobias I knew right away that I wanted him to be my dr. He explains how he might not be able to give you a perfect nose or the exact kind of nose you want but he will give you one that fits your face and will blend into your face to give you the most appealing look you can have. With my situation, he was very big on not doing TOO much to my nose because he did not want to ruin the good characteristics about my nose. This is something that you don't always find with plastic surgeons because most of the time they will give you that little ski slope nose that practically screams "NOSE JOB" and it doesn't always fit that individuals face. Dr. Tobias really cares about all his patients and gives you the attention and answers any questions you need to feel comfortable. I will always remember Dr. Tobias and think of him every time I look at my new nose.

Rhinoplasty - Kinnelon, NJ

Dr. Jeffrey Tobias stands by his work! My husband had a Rhinoplasty procedure done last year and was not satisfied with the results. Dr. Tobias patiently worked with him through the healing process and rescheduled another procedure, at no cost to us. Months later, post surgery number two, we are very happy with the results! Thank you Dr. Tobias for an excellent job and standing behind your work!

Tin Noses: The Faces of War

Were noses really made out of tin after WWI for disfigured soldiers? Cosmetic. Plastic. It’s unfortunate that these are the terms chosen to describe the general field of surgery that rhinoplasty falls under. The connotation is of something “less than” or “fake”. Cosmetic jewelry is not real jewelry. Plastic is often a cheaper version of something made of a more valuable material. Cosmetic or plastic surgery can give rise to thoughts of vanity and the pursuit of something not quite gen...

Why are Americans spending more than ever on plastic surgery?

223,018 Nose Reshaping Procedures in 2016 According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Americans spent more than ever on cosmetic surgery last year. In fact, the cost for the hundreds of thousands of procedures that were performed in 2016 exceeded $16 billion dollars. Breast implants and other types of breast augmentation surgeries topped the list, followed by liposuction and nose shaping procedures. The actual figures for the more common types of procedures...

Cookie Cutter Nose Jobs

Will my nose job be unique? According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, rhinoplasty is the third most popular type of cosmetic surgery, coming in right behind breast augmentation and liposuction. One explanation for this is that there are a wide range of benefits of nose surgery, both for functional as well as aesthetic reasons. Functionally, the patient may seek relief from nasal issues that interfere with breathing or sleeping. For example, a deviated septum may cause a...

10 Benefits of Rhinoplasty Surgery

What are some of the main benefits of having rhinoplasty surgery? According to American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) more than 17 million cosmetic surgical procedures were performed in the United States in 2016. Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a “nose job”, is one of the most popular of these surgeries. Thousands of men, women and children turn to rhinoplasty every year for aesthetic as well as functional issues. For many of these individuals, the results are life-changing. T...

What Determines the Shape of Your Nose

What shape should my nose be? A lot of time and energy and angst is expended over the shape of the nose. Even before we entered the era of non-stop media displays depicting idealized images, having a crooked nose or one that just didn’t seem to fit with the face created a fair amount of dissatisfaction. Now, with the obsession with selfie photos and the manic sharing of images through social media, with, of course, instantaneous and often negative feedback, “dissatisfaction” has becom...
