Dr. David Caplin, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice at Parkcrest Plastic Surgery in St. Louis, Missouri. He has over three decades of experience performing a wide range of procedures across face, breast, and body, with special interests in cosmetic and reconstructive breast enhancement, body contouring (including mommy makeover plastic surgery), and aesthetic facial surgery. His expertise is sought after by local and international patients alike.
After receiving his MD at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Caplin completed two residencies in general and plastic surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He holds board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is frequently asked to contribute his knowledge to national studies evaluating the efficacy and safety of new breast implants. In addition to treating patients and participating in research, Dr. Caplin is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
