Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping
Dr. Ridenour is a board-certified surgeon with vast experience in primary and secondary (revision) rhinoplasty. He performs both open and closed rhinoplasty techniques depending on the needs of the patient and has performed thousands of rhinoplasty procedures over the course of his career. He is fortunate to have been mentored by some of the great rhinoplasty surgeons of the modern day and he is known for his natural and realistic results. Today's rhinoplasty operation is much different and more natural in appearance. Dr. Ridenour believes in the principle of structure rhinoplasty. The result is a nose with improved shape that looks natural but is strong enough to resist change over time.
Face and Neck Lifts
Dr. Ridenour is one of the most experienced face-lift surgeons in the Midwest and St. Louis Area. He has been performing the face-lift operation for more than 20 years and averages about 100 face-lift operations each year. He has visited and learned from many of the best face-lift surgeons in the world and has taught the face-lift operation to residents and fellows at the prestigious Washington University St. Louis for over 10 years. Perhaps more than any other cosmetic operation, the result of a face-lift operation depends on the judgement and experience of the surgeon. It is commonly believed the most face-lift surgeons don't gain the kind of experience necessary to perform the operation at the highest level until they have been in practice for at least 10-15 years. No amount of pratice or education takes the place of experience.
