Dr. Liang is my guy!! I had a mastectomy and had temporary implants while I had my treatment for breast cancer. I had a number of issues, but I knew all that could happened because Dr. Liang spend time and dedicated his expertise to explain everything in detail so I knew what I was up against. When it was time to have reconstruction surgery - once again he took the time to explain pro’s & con’s. I’ve had many nurses compliment what a great job he has done and I would never hesitate to go to him again. He is a great doctor who does a great job.

Dr. Liang and his staff were extremely helpful and professional. I went for a consultation for lipo on my chin. He made me feel confident and gave me realistic expectations of the procedure. I followed through with the appointment. The day of my procedure he was professional, explained everything again, and the after care. I had always been self conscious of my chin. It was always there no matter what my weight was. Day one after procedure there was a significant difference. After the 3 months healing time my chin looked so much better. My jaw line was now defined and chin fat was gone. I decided to take out access Skin and again he explained everything very thoroughly. Now after the skin removed my chin is so defined. I am extremely happy with my results and the care dr liang gave. He did an amazing job and I feel so much more confident and happy with my results.

Maintaining a youthful look while keeping the continuity of your face is a difficult line to toe... But when you have a physician that has the perfect balance of artful perspective vs the ability to give you what you request, makes it all the easier. Dr. Liang MD at South Bay Plastic Surgeons is that artist. Having visited him now 4 times, not only is he informative he also listens to what my needs are. He understands that I just don't want to look old... I don't want to look different, just youthful. I want to look natural and that's what he does. He will not let me go overboard. He's honest. He fantastic really. I have left each visit with him happier than the last.

Great experience with Dr. Liang! I lost over 100 lbs naturally and after my breast looked completely deflated. The whole process was made easy by Dr. Liang and the staff at South Bay Plastic Surgeons. They were very helpful and always made me feel comfortable. I am now 2 months post op from having an augmentation and lift and I couldn’t be happier. They are full and lifted and feel completely natural. I had an overall great experience and I recommend Dr. Liang highly.

Dr. Liang was the silver lining behind a breast cancer diagnosis. His professionalism, dedication, perfection in his skill goes far beyond any doctor I've known. The outcome of my reconstruction surgery was better than I had ever expected and I feel fortunate to have had him get me through this and be there for all my concerns.

There are not enough wonderful things I can say about Dr. Liang. 5- stars is not enough! I was facing breast cancer for the second time, and had already had two lumpectomy surgeries with radiation. This time, I needed a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I really wanted expanders and implants, however, because of radiation, I was not a strong candidate for that path. My surgeon spoke very highly of Dr. Liang (said he was "The Best"), so I had confidence going in for my first visit, however nothing could have prepared me for the level of compassion, kindness, knowledge, and thoughtfulness he demonstrated. Dr. Liang explained every option I had, with his recommendations, based on scientific data. He allowed me to make the choice best for me, and answered all of my questions, along with questions from my husband and mom. He was extremely patient with us...and trust me, we had a lot of questions!! He showed me pictures of prior reconstructions he had done, so I had a good grasp of what to expect (this is important!). I was able to see his high level of talent and knowledge which eased my mind even more. I worked in the medical field greater than 30 years, so I can truthfully say~ I know physicians in general. Dr. Liang is THE MOST humble physician I have ever encountered. And, he has the biggest reason to be anything but humble! Dr. Liang worked with my surgeon during the mastectomies, and then a month later performed my DIEP Flap Reconstruction, and finally three months later performed liposuction to "fill" in my breasts a few months later. (the fluff and fill~haha!) DIEP Flap Reconstruction is a very long and intricate procedure. My case proved to be even more difficult. The blood vessel for my left breast did not want to cooperate, and "work". Dr. Liang did not give up, and attempted to reattach 4 times. There is a time limit after which the tissue will not be viable, and it was approaching the time limit, and he attempted one last time (because he's that determined, and that good), and God willing, it worked. He worked on me for over 22 hours, and never gave up. I am beyond grateful for his persistence, dedication, and compassion. As I said before, I know a lot of physicians and I don't know many (if any) that would be that dedicated and persistent after that many hours. Even after that incredibly long surgery, he came in the same day (without having sleep) several times to check on me. Additionally, he came in daily to check on me in ICU, and made sure I was progressing and getting everything I needed. I felt he truly treated me as if I were family. He really does care about his patients. As I finish this review, I don't feel that I've projected the level of gratitude I have for Dr. Liang. He is a very unique, and special person, and physician. Because of him, when I look in the mirror, I see beautiful breasts instead of a flat chest with scars. For that, and for everything he did, and went through to make it possible, I will forever be indebted. There really are no words to sufficiently express all the extraordinary thoughts I have for this gifted physician.

I chose Dr. Liang to fix my belly button from a previous tummy tuck. At our first visit he put me at ease; he was kind, attentive, and professional. He and his staff went above and beyond in every way possible. My surgery went off without a hitch and all of my follow up care has been stellar. It's been just over four months and my belly button scar continues to mature. It looks beautiful and very natural; I am no longer self conscience of the scar. Dr. Liang is a consummate artist, and I would recommend him to anyone seeking cosmetic or reconstructive surgery.

I had to have my left breast removed due to a stage 1 cancer tumor sitting on top of my chest muscle. I was very apprehensive about making sure I still looked mostly normal since I am only 34. I chose to have an expander implanted at removal with fills every week until chemotherapy started. After chemo was over, and I could start fills again, I continued until it was time to swap my expander for a newer style breast implant. It is anatomically shaped and mostly filled my pocket out without having to have fat injections. It works well with my smaller size and thinner skin and it very much resembles my natural breast. I may go back for a lift of my right breast and some minor fat injections in a few years just to remain even.

Dr Liang is not only a Master at his craft but his bedside manner tops all! He and his staff and team are all wonderful people. They answer all questions and put you at ease. They take wonderful care of you before, during, and after surgery. He moved the tissue I had in my stomach up into my breast and made me a cute new belly button on my now flat tummy! He is so wonderful when my daughter is ready to have her breasts done she is going to Dr. Liang now would I put my daughter in his hands if he wasn't the best?!
