Life Changing Procedure! Dr. Harrington and Her Entire Team Are Phenomenal!

Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Dr. Harrington and her team. Dr. Harrington and Tara beautifully reduced several decades of shame and embarrassment for which I am truly grateful. I've had cellulite since I was in Highschool and its continued to get worse over the years. I tried everything out there and was never able to see any real improvement. I've maintained a...

Update: I really regret getting Qwo

I was looking for places that offered Qwo in Minnesota and found that Harrington + Associates did, so I immediately emailed to find out more information. The first thing that I REALLY appreciated (and that is a noticeable difference from most other places) is that the person that replied to my email was extremely transparent about the pricing. Most places are cagey and want you to come in...

Amazing Experience - Breast Lift

Dr. Harrington and her nurses are amazing!!! So so nice. This is why you pay to go to the top of the line surgeon because I had a reaction to my sutures and she has been with me to the very end. I know some friends who got plastic surgery in Miami and other quick in and out places and they said they did not see their surgeon one time after surgery. I have seen her 5 times at just one month...

Best Decision I Made Choosing Harrington!

From the first email requesting information through my first day home today, an amazing experience. You can tell the entire team enjoys working together and cares about their patients. they all work together so well to ensure a positive experience through the whole process. I consulted with 4 surgeons before choosing Dr Harrington, all would require travel to get to. I did opt to travel for an...

Wonderful Experience from Beginning to End!

My experience at Harrington & Associate’s was phenomenal from beginning to end. I felt comfortable, heard and well taken care of at each visit. I was very particular about my sizing, and the end result is absolutely perfect. DR. Harrington was honest with me from the beginning about some “extra challenges” she would face due to the previous shape and condition of my breasts. Because of he...

Q: How long should I wait between CoolSculpting?
Answered by Dr. HarringtonAugust 16, 2019

A: Hi there. Glad to hear you’re loving your CoolSculpting results so far! Generally speaking, most people see their final outcome 3 to 4 months after CoolSculpting treatment. Based on the date you provided, it sounds like you’re nearing the two-month mark. At this point, if you don’t have significant swelling, you may be able to move forward with a second treatment. However, if your results are still in the relatively early stages of development, you might want to hold off until you can get a better idea of what your final outcome will be.

Discuss your options with your provider for the most accurate and personalized advice. Perhaps you could inquire about getting the discounted price after the promotion has ended due to the timing of your first procedure.

Q: More than 2 weeks after face filler (smile lines) and I have a bruise that is not fading away, is it permanent? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. HarringtonJuly 18, 2019

A: Hi there. Thank you for your question. You may need to wait a little longer than the two-week recommendation for all bruising to diminish completely. Give it a few more days. If you’re still not seeing an improvement, schedule a follow-up visit with your provider to discuss. Bruising isn’t permanent, but it can take longer to clear up for some than others. If you’re still not happy with your results once all bruising has diminished, you might consider getting slightly more filler. Be sure you’re working with an experienced provider to ensure optimal results.

Q: Can Emsculpt be used for pectoral muscles? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. HarringtonJuly 18, 2019

A: Hello, and thank you for sharing your question. Right now, EMSCULPT is only FDA-approved for use on the abdomen and butt and can’t be used on the chest and other areas at the moment. It works by emitting electromagnetic energy to stimulate what are called supramaximal muscle contractions. This is what helps your body to build muscle while burning fat at the same time. Unfortunately, we are not sure if this same technology would be safe and effective on other areas of the body just yet.

Q: Barely see any result 1 month after SkinPen microneedling with PRP. Any suggestions on pre or post care to enhance result?
Answered by Dr. HarringtonMarch 19, 2019

A: Microneedling can take several sessions to see significant results. And even with multiple treatment sessions, it can take weeks or months to see the full results of microneedling. Have you considered a repeat treatment? If not, you should consult with your dermatologist to see if he or she recommends coming in again for another session. Each treatment should compound on the results of the previous treatments. Be patient and consider further treatment for the best results.

Q: I dyed my hair red before my surgery and dye comes off when washing it. Is it ok to wash my hair now or do I still have to wait?
Answered by Dr. HarringtonFebruary 22, 2019

A: At a week after your mommy makeover, you should be able to wash your hair, but check in with your plastic surgeon’s office first just to be sure. Everyone has different protocol for these sorts of things. It’ll also depend on which procedures you’ve included in your mommy makeover and whether or not drains were used.
