After going to multiple consultations with different area surgeons I chose Dr. Mark because I felt he gave me the consultation that doctors should give. He asked me all the right questions, making sure I wasn’t expecting unrealistic results and understanding the full scale of what I was doing. He made me feel very comfortable and was very informative on what to expect before, during and after the surgery. His staff was so accommodating and supportive when I called multiple times with additional questions.
Leading up to the surgery I was so excited but also very nervous because I know the pain was going to be much worse than anything I’ve experienced before. After having two children; a 12 year old and my one year old, my body and I just had enough and I wanted to remove the loose flabby skin. As you can see I’m only one week postop but I already see a huge difference and can’t wait to continue to see positive results. I still have about 15 pounds to lose and once that happens I know I’ll be extremely happy with my journey.

I’ve had almost all of my stitches removed. (Only 3 anchors remain.) I was so worried about the “w” style incision but now that I can see my results I’m really happy with everything. I’m still super sore and can’t stand up straight but I can feel my core healing each day. I just want the swelling to down!

I accidentally deleted my Before photo so here it is. I’m 39 years old, 5’11 and weighted 170. I’ve had 2 children with my youngest being 1 year old. I still have about 20 lbs to lose to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

My swelling has gone down and I can finally see some definition around my abs. Yay! I’ve started using scar removal remedies and so far the one that feels the most comfortable and adheres to my skin is called Scar Away. It’s still too early to tell if it’s working though. You can see my scar is pretty red so I really hope it works. I have a checkup tomorrow and want to talk about the skin folds (dog ears) by my hips. He said it can take a couple of months for everything to fall into place but I’m not sure mine will so that might means another small procedure will have to be done. Either way I’m much happier with my overall appearance and can’t wait to start working out. I’ll post another update in a few weeks.

Feeling great and loving my results…with the exception of my dog ears. Sadly, my surgeon passed away before he was able to remove the excess skin. I’m currently searching for a surgeon that can assist but in the meantime I’m feeling confident, sexy, and love my body.
