I had two breast augmentations in the past and unfortunately developed Symmastia. I was looking to downsize my implant size, repair the Symmastia , and have a lift since I was done having children. I recently moved to a different state and didn’t have any referrals of great surgeons from anyone I knew. After doing lots of research, I came across Dr. Leppink. Even though the Centre is not near where I live, the reviews I read convinced me it was worth the drive. I’ve had plenty of consultations before and never once had a surgeon take the time to explain in full detail as well as listen to any concerns I had like Dr. Leppink did. He took his time and explained to me the anatomy of the breast and what exactly would need to be done. I never once felt like he was rushing and absolutely felt as if he cared. He made me feel as if I was in good hands and that was reassuring considering this would be my third surgery and being a mother of three, I wanted to make sure I went to the right place. The staff was great. They have you come in prior to surgery to go over everything and meet with the doctor again. I was sent a booklet detailing my surgery, before and after do’s and dont’s which was great to have to reference at home. I ended up scheduling my surgery two weeks later. The nurse and anesthesiologist were very nice and made me feel calm and comfortable. I had minimal pain which was very surprising for me considering two prior surgeries I had were much different in recovery. I knew exactly what to expect when it came to recovery because Dr. Leppink told me prior to which area would hurt the most in my recovery and that was where he placed the internal sutures to repair the symmastia . My husband and I had an hour and a half drive home after surgery and I was completely comfortable. By the next day I was up and moving around. I was off pain meds after three days. I’m now three weeks out and totally able to take care of my little ones. My follow up appointment went well. I unfortunately was very itchy and the doctor was able to prescribe me something to help me feel more comfortable. I’m still swollen , but I’m excited to see the final outcome once everything settles. I’d absolutely recommend Dr. Leppink to anyone I know.

After my first consultation with Doctor Leppink I was impressed with his knowledge, very satisfied with his explanation and definitely much more comfortable with my decision to have my first surgery done by him. I remember going home thinking I had made the right choice. The treatment I received from the staff was exceptional and the doctor personally made me feel at home every time. I would definitely recommend Doctor Leppink and I would definitely go to him again in the future. Unfortunately, during my recovery time I felt like one of the nurses was rude and I felt like she was rushing to get me out but overall, I had a very pleasant experience. He also performed liposuction under arms for my side boobs with skin removal. I’m feeling great of course I have pressure and soreness my nipples tingle and sharp pains every now and then, Dr. Lippink was very kind as well as staff members he called me the first night To check on me! I had lost 70 lbs. and there went the breast! I decided to have implants to feel sexy again I have been working out and the under arm skin never went away Dr. Lippink told me that my breast cage had moved to my sides and no amount of a workout would help since it is breast tissue so that is why he performed the liposuction and skin removal. I’m very pleased with his decision. Updated on 5 Jan 2018: I’m very happy with my new breast I take meds every 2 hours liposuction is giving me more discomfort the the lift/implants! I’m sleeping just fine an I put ice pack on for 30 min and 30 off while I’m awake. Drinking plenty of water and chicken noodle soup crackers I have patch for nausea which I was worried about after being under anesthesia, had no problems ! Updated on 5 Jan 2018: This morning I feel less stiff I have been getting up preparing myself food .. Not to be TMI but I had my first bowel movement no pain from that experience Thank goodness ! I have been taking stool softener for 3 days to keep my body in sync.. Today my upper body feels like I just had a good work out at the gym! I have notice my belly is getting bloated but not painful ???? Updated on 6 Jan 2018: Today I stopped ice compresses took my first shower .. I decided to try taking Tylenol instead of prescribed pain meds still using muscle relaxers. Over all I think my breasts looking great for only four days! My nipples in time will be less swollen and more reactive to touch! Updated on 10 Jan 2018: Swelling is going down bottom skin is tight tomorrow I have first Dr. visit I find the photos don’t do me any justice right now ! I feel my breast look so beautiful! So here is before and my 8 day after. I just noticed how much higher I have been lifted by the tattoo my nipple is so much closer! I have been reading other reviews about how they wished they had went bigger and it made me feel a little unsure of my choice of 400cc but I’m a sporty kind of person any size bigger would be in the way! Updated on 12 Jan 2018: Seen Dr. Leppink every thing healing great! I don’t have to wear that after surgery tight crazy torture bra or strap ! Thank you very much!!! He noticed that I needed to correct my posture .. push out my breasts ! ( stand up straight like your mom tells you ) He explained that muscles in under arms etc. will become tight I did have lipo and skin removed under arm the skin that hangs over bra (side boob) he was so funny you just let them free! Updated on 19 Jan 2018: 16 days! I think their looking better! I’m a hairstylist my first week back to work after I get home they do feel sore like when you have your period kinda swollen but over all I’m pleased with my recovery . Dr. Leppink says I need to sleep on my back for at least 4 weeks.. I have been washing them with soft soap antibacterial ! And rub rub with a little Aveeno lotion at night . Updated on 24 Jan 2018: It has been cold here I’m starting to feel that the nerve endings are connecting I was wondering when my nipples would react to cold ! Today they are becoming a bit nippy again progress! Updated on 31 Jan 2018: Today had dr. Visit he said healing looks good ! I ask him why sometimes one breast feels normal one not ..lymph nodes under arms have a lot to do with swelling I did have lipo and skin removal of side boob. Over all I’m happy with my progress ! Patience is the word! I ask about redness just my blood vessels rewireing and last week nipples began to react to cold again. Updated on 11 Feb 2018: Still waiting to see a difference! Updated on 2 Mar 2018: Breast feeling more normal .. I took this picture today to show friends my nip covers and notice right breast lower and larger than left! Very upset! Updated on 2 Mar 2018: Yes by Brest are fuller and firm look good in a bra or tighter shirt... But when I look at hem naked in the mirror ugly! Updated on 3 Mar 2018: Breasts still look “fat” no shape Updated on 28 Mar 2018: I was so worried about my outcome and healing I starting to see how they really look ! ???? Updated on 25 Jun 2018: Everything is healed and I’m really pleased! Very pleased ! It has been 7 months I feel great in my bathing suits I can lift weights at the gym within a reason I keep them under 40 lbs . My nipple sensations are slowly coming back which I feel is better than having super sensitive ones my PS is waiting to see if scars heal better otherwise he will try and make them less visible! Updated on 25 Jul 2018: I’m happy to say my PS is going to take a little more of my side boob off ! It is hard to predict how much skin to take off .. if you look at my photos before and after.
