In general ULTHERA has little or no effect on a filler treated area. Since ULTHERA is not done in the lip area, there will be NO EFFECT on your lip filler 

Will HIFU/Ultherapy have any effect on dissolving lip fillers prematurely? Neither procedures target the lips, but they do go around the lips. There is no research evidence, but I have heard that some docs think the procedures impact fillers, but what if they are not being directly targeted? Could the surrounding heat around the lips potentially affect lip fillers or is this unlikely? Will waiting one month after lips ensure they will not be impacted?

The Botox effect lasts between 3 and six months. Tge effect wears off by, we think, the development of new nerve terminals providing impulses to the muscles.

I'm wondering if botox is sitting in cell for ~3 months or if it goes in, does its cleaving, and is metabolized with a few days. Then during the ~3 months movement is regained during sprouting process. I'm not very comfortable with idea of chemical sitting there for 3 months but more comfortable with it going in, doing it's work, being metabolized quickly, and the natural process of regaining function occurring over ~3 months.

In 2020, the best and safest way to have the cheek bones you want, is to have fillers. These can last 1-2 years. Their non-permanence is an invaluable safety measure. In my practice, I would advise Voluma ( if you want Hyaluronic Acid fillers), or Radiesse ( Calcium HydroxylAppatite). You, not only get tge cheek bones that you want, but also you get a bit of lifting of the cheeks.

I have flat cheek bones, though I don't think I actually lack volume in my face (not sunken in). I have tried fillers, which looked great, but I am looking into a permanent solution. What do you think is best for a 24 year old as opposed to someone older?

The recent trend is to use lower dose Accutane. I have been prescribing low dose Accutane ( 20 mg /day), for the last few years. This has the advantage of fewer side effects as dryness etc.... The only " drawback" is that it has to be used for a longer duration eg 12 months or more. In almost all cases, my patients have been very satisfied with the reduced dosage regimen.

Does a low dose of Accutane have the same effect as the higher dose?

Usually, use of Hyaluronidase helps with this problem. 2 or more sessions may be needed. If the lump persists, injection with steroids, with or without another medication, will help.

I only used a half a syringe to obtain a fuller, natural plump lip. I had noticed the lump right away and pointed it out to the injector, she said just to keep messaging it and I did. But it never went down. After a month's wait for an appointment opening she said there was nothing in the lump, no Juvederm and there for there was no way to fix it and if she tried to reverse it, it could make my lips worse. What can I do? I look like I have a constant mosquito bite or allergic reaction on my lip.

I would treat medically with creams and possibly oral medications first. These are successful in the majority of cases. Interventions with laser, or other procedures, are used as a last resort. The procedures may improve the condition short term, but may end up causing worsening of the problem. Seek help of a trusted Board Certified Dermatologist

Is there a filler for top and bottom? I was a victim of domestic violence and my sinus cavity was broken. They said it may never heal. I'm not sure if that's why one eyebrow is lower. I tried the Plasma Pen, it didn't do much for my face. Not even for the wrinkles on my lips. I'm a single parent and cannot afford an eyelift. I feel I look much older than 45. I would like a filler to lift the eye area and brow, and get rid of the bags and dark circles. What would be recommended?

This problem can be ,relatively, easily controlled with BOTOX injections done at the excessive sweating areas. The amount used has to be carefully calculated so as not to affect the facial muscles. Injections have to be repeated every 2-6 months

Whenever I smile, my nostrils expand. Is there anyway I can get botox or filler to make this not happen or would I just need to get a nose job?

From the Juvederm family : you can use Vollure or Volbella. From the Restylane family : you can use Restylane or Restylane Kysse. There maybe a bit of swelling for 1-2 days, occasionally. The needle sticks, on their own, can cause swelling

I don’t want a a super hydrophilic in my lips.
