I am Dr. Alberto Enrique Pérez Bañuelos, a Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon dedicated to the restoration of beauty and function. My journey in the field of medicine began at the Autonomous University of Baja California, Tijuana campus, where I laid the foundation for my passion in plastic surgery.

During my Residency in General Surgery at the Bajío National Medical Center, I earned a University Medal of Merit Recognition in 2012, setting the stage for a career committed to excellence. Subsequently, I pursued my Residency in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the National Medical Center of the West in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Under the mentorship of MD Lázaro Cárdenas Camarena at the INNOVARE Surgical Specialties Hospital, I honed my skills in plastic and aesthetic surgery, focusing particularly on facial feminization surgery. Dr. Cárdenas Camarena, a world authority in the field, guided me through the intricacies of the discipline, shaping my approach to surgery.

My comprehensive training encompasses diverse aspects of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery, including cosmetic procedures and reconstructive interventions for burns, hand injuries, maxillofacial issues, wound management, microvascular surgery, and pediatric cases. External rotations at esteemed institutions nationally and internationally, such as the National Medical Center of the West, ABC Hospital of Mexico, IJCR, INNOVARE Hospital, and Dermatological Institute of Jalisco, enriched my experience.

An active participant in altruistic extramural surgery for marginalized communities, organized by public institutions, I am deeply committed to extending the benefits of my skills to those in need. I maintain a culture of inclusion, placing emphasis on facial feminization, and approach each case with a dedication to perfection in order to restore both beauty and function.

My track record is defined by outstanding results, evidenced by the satisfaction of each patient. With a service-oriented and professional attitude, I aim to create a positive experience for every individual under my care. As a full member of the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER) and a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), I continue to contribute to the advancement of my field and uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional practice.
