Psychological nightmare of "trust" and disfigurement. I went into Dr Frank for a minor tweak at age 46, was sold on this "journey of trust" we would take together and how wonderfully and naturally Sculptra would lift my face. $4k+ later, my entire lower face has dropped. I look like a chubby, moon-headed chimpmunk. He's a rep for the Scupltra brand and clearly this was an inappropriate treatment for my face shape and goals. (Galderma Bonu$?) I am now working with a local and actual board-certified Plastic surgeon to try to get this corrected, but it will be a long and expensive road as Scupltra can last up to 5 years and cannot be dissolved. Dr Frank wouldn't even see me on a video call to discuss this and cancelled our scheduled call, saying I should get an ultrasound (?) . Obvious deflection of accountability. He should be mortified. He claims that he's "prestigious" in the aesthetics field, yet I have not found any real patient reviews of his work anywhere online.
It depends on the grade of unevenness. If it is mild probably fillers could do the job. Surgery would be the last option to avoid scars even though the alar rim is a good place to hide them
I agree. It is too soon to see the end result of the laser dermoabrasion. In our experience around 6 weeks will be the right time to evaluate additional treatment but once the swelling disappears it will look better.
Hi! Most of the symptoms will go away together with the swelling. When that happens you can evaluate function first (breathing) and then the aesthetics but probably everything will go back to normal. If the bony part of the nose (pyramid) has been displaced you can correct it with a Rhinoplasty which in your case has excellent prognosis.
